This concept is extremely hard for me to wrap my head round. I guess this is half the battle of becoming a proficient projector.
I still don't understand the geography of the astral realm. If I bumped into another projector, would we both be seeing and experiencing the same thing?

I have another question too. How come in all the Astral Projection accounts I have read that everyone in the realm can speak English? You would think that there would be a multitude of languages, especially when speaking to aliens.

Thank you for your replies so far!

I am looking for books on Astral Projection experiences rather than techniques. I am aware of Multidimensional Man by Jurgen Ziewe and the Robert A Monroe's books. I am not too sure which to go for or if I have missed a better book! I want to read about someone else's detailed accounts of the Astral World in hope that it will inspire me to progress further into this field.

Do you any recommendations?

Have any of you astral projected outside of REM sleep? I am constantly worried about mistaking a lucid dream for astral projection. How do you tell the difference?

Is the astral realm a static place that has geography? For example the 'Temple of blah blah' is next to the 'Mountains of blah blah'. You could practically say to another projector 'Hey have you visited the Temple of blah blah' and he will say 'Yeah dude the one next to the mountains of blah blah?' 'Yeah! that one!'

Silly questions I know. But they have been bugging me :D
