I've been thinking about projecting into my TV monitor while playing "The Lord of the Rings"(Fellowship of the Ring) in hopes of visiting Hobbiton and mingling with Frodo and the like..I read the chapter in Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics book with regards to virtual reality projections into pictures and paintings but didn't notice any dealings with projections into movie scenes/TV shows, and was lefting wondering if it's at all possible??[?]

From my understanding, Man is God's most beloved, prized creation because of the potential 'corruptibility' of Man's spirit via free will. Man, through freedrom of choice, always has the ability to further God's Plan or to go against it when confronted with a decision in any matter in life; the former statement is the reason why God loves Man over all other creations, as far as I know.

The evidence to backup my conjecture above may be found in religious texts but I can't recall with clarity where I read it.

Can anyone shed some light on this topic and/or disclose the religious text where this can be affirmed?

Sincerely........aissy

According to the Holy Koran, Lucifer(Iblis) is a jinn. The proof can be found in the texts that elaborate about the creation of Man, Adam. As stated in the Koran, when God breathed His Soul into Adam, He commanded His angels as well as Lucifer to prostrate themselves before Adam. To paraphrase the 'conversation' between God and Lucifer when commanded by God to bow down to Adam, Lucifer states "Why should I prostrate myself before this Man...I am made of fire and he(Adam) is made of clay."

It's stated in the Koran that jinns are created from a 'smokeless fire' while angels, on the other hand, are creations of Light that don't have a free will;therefore, they're uncorruptible and would carry out any of God's commands without question.

I read the article "Spirits, Angels, Origins & Relationships" by Robert Bruce and wanted to impart a point that I think should have been mentioned in the text. I don't believe that 'evil' exists in itself. I see evil as a 'lack of good' just as dark is a lack of light. Evil is simply a label that can be interpreted in many ways...some say the devil is evil, but according to many religious scriptures, the devil(Lucifer) was once good and is now simply living in respite, cut off from the Creator's Grace, until his appointed term is complete. This conjecture is coming not from a religious bias(as it may apppear) but from a true belief in the goodness of our Creator, Exalted in Power, Wise.

Experienced projectors.......have you noticed an increase in foreign/negative presences in your energy field since you started projecting into the astral? Projectors I've communicated with have said that negative entities don't want would-be projectors to find out the secrets of the astral realm;therefore, try to scare them into aborting their projections.

Is there any correlation between projecting and attracting negative entities into your immediate energy field just because of the fact that you are consciously projecting into the astral?[?]

Projecting to the stars in outer space has often been refered to as visiting the heavans. A soon-to-be projector has hopes of exploring the depths of Earth's crust but doesn't know what to expect. Does anyone know if there's any correlation with regards to delving into Earth's core and the hellish underworld?[B)]

After having read "Astral Dynamics" by Robert Bruce I was left a little perplexed with regards to psychic attacks. He mentions this phrase several times in his book without really explaining what it means. Can anyone shed some light on this....?

Hello,

Astral travel can be used as a means for communicating with spiritual entities, so I'm told.

Now, considering that jinns/demons have shape-shifting abilities and can mimick the look and demeanor of spiritual beings, how can one effectively discriminate between sincere spiritual beings and negative beings that want to deceive unsuspecting projectors?

Some say that intuition can give you a hint as to whether or not the entity confronted is negative or positive, while others say that looking into the eyes(a dark and/or clear aspect is what supposedly comprises the look of their eyes) of a negative entity can yield an uncomprimising result.

Does anyone know of a more concrete way of determining the true identity of the entities that one may confront in the astral? Or have I pretty much summed it up with the conjecture above...?

Cheers...............aissy

If, as I've read in previous threads, you can chop, slice, dice, etc negative beings with an astral weapon, are they considered dead? Can you simply kill a neg with your imagination? It seems far fetched that we as projectors can harm them but they can't harm us.

Sincerely.........aissy

If negs can't harm the astral body/physical body, why bother making astral weapons to fight them off? Projecting away or ignoring negs seems to be so much easier than conjuring weapons that may "melt away" in the middle of a battle.

Hello,

I'm new to the OBE experience but have become quite intruiged about the thought of being able to project out of my body by my own conscious will. I subsequently bought Robert Bruce's book "Astral Dynamics" in hopes of gaining further insight into this fascinating endeavour. The book itself was absolutely delectable and so very informative. After reading the entire book, though, I felt a little weary about the whole OBE experience....which brings me to my question/concern?

HOW THOUGHT-SENSITIVE IS THE REAL/TIME AND ASTRAL ZONES IN REGARDS TO THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND? While it seems pretty clear to me that if one doesn't intend to attract anything negative into his/her immediate energy space, one has to simply keep his/her mind on positive, uplifting thoughts during the entire OBE. BUT, if one doesn't know what thoughts are running through his/her subconscious mind(lets say I believe in jinns and demons but have suppressed the thought in my mind), would those type of entities automatically surround me in during my OBE?

yes, thank you Neo S..........I never thought of it that way...the whole collective consciousness of all the LOTR fans out there. It's touched a lot of people...

Mustardseed,

While I don't agree with some of the comments that God makes during your channelling session(when God supposedly calls Robert Bruce a 'kid' in one of the past posts, for example), I believe the rest of the information passed along is sincere and accurate. I get so inspired reading your posts, Mustardseed, that I find myself coming back to the computer more often than I feel I should.

After having read some of the past comments, I hope to see you back soon.

God Bless, Mustardseed........aissy[:)]

Como,

"Aissy, if your point of this post is to try and change other people's beleive systems, just forget about it because it is not important, by trying to change people's beleive systems you are interfering with their spiritual progress. Let them find the answers on their own, in the end we are all going back to the source and we shall all know the truth.

besides who the hell cares if satan was a Jin or not, you just started the argument out of nowhere."

I'm not trying to change people's belief systems, though you perceive it to be that way. I composed the message in an attempt impart Islam's view on the fall of Iblis(Lucifer). And what is there to argue about? I simply paraphrased a verse from the Koran to elicit Islam's 'take' on the fall of Iblis(Lucifer). Como, I don't mean to offend you but you have no way of knowing what is important to other people's spiritual progress; it's not a good idea to make generalization about what's good for others because your not God. What matters to you doesn't necessarily matter to the whole.
To paraphrase the Koran, "Don't meddle in things in which you have no knowledge."

If you don't appreciate what I wrote, just use common sense and ignore the posting.[:)]

...some interesting points have been raised. With regards to Kiauma's view on the nature of good and evil, I wanted to elaborate another aspect that has not been directly acknowledged.

Now, considering Kiauma's view about the interpretation of good and evil..."Obviously working together benefits all, but if they disregard that then one or more of them will perish, locked in eternal conflict"...one can duly interpret 'good' as being in 'Unity, or in sync' with the universe, nature, or whatever one wants to call it. Hence, evil would therefore be interpreted as not conforming one's will to Unified Whole.

To expound on this topic from a different perspective, one could argue that if a person makes life choice that go against the concept of Unity, as in rebellion, one could be considered 'evil' to a certain extent. And as stated previously, evil is simply a label...so is the concept of good. I believe there are certain degrees of good and evil, but one must understand that there is no such thing as 'absolute evil' because that would go against Universal Laws of Nature...again, as stated previously, good and evil are relative terms. Love, on the other hand, is the only absolute quality of Nature, though it may not always appear to be so on the 'surface.' A lack of love, if heeded, seems to create a yearning to get closer to the concept of true unity, which in my view, is the only way of life. We may now argue that there is no such thing as good or evil or a lack of good or evil, but that everything in life is a lack of love trying to find its way back to pure, absolute Love.... "For example, if a seed sprouts and the tender shoot reaches upward then unfolds leaves which seek the sun, then the sun is 'good', and it seeking the sun is 'good', because it promotes the higher expression of the plant, which is a mature, healthy plant which can then go on to propogate more plants and contribute to the life and beauty of the earth. Growth and higher expression are good, and growth and higher expression which contributes to the growth and higher expression of others is a greater good. This is a naturalistic expression of 'good,'" as Kiauma so pleasantly puts it.

Sincerely............aissy

Can a person that is able to see auras see their own aura? For example, if you stand in front of a mirror or perhaps by looking at a particular part of your body, will the colors appear?

On the same note, can an aura-seeing person see spirit entities in the physical world???

Assult,

I had a similar experience last week with an evil entity in my house. In my personal experience, I caused this entity to manifest in the physical(I felt a cold chill that was accompanied by a white shadow moving along the corridor) by experiencing fearful thoughts after having read some of the forums about demons.[V]

Futhermore, I used to feel presences around me that were, in my opinion, brought about by lustful thinking. [:(!] When I stopped indulging in lustful thoughts, I no longer felt foreign presences invading my energy field.

My advice would be to monitor all the thoughts you are having at any given moment in your life. 'Like attracts like' in many ways. Guard against evil by not allowing your thoughts to stray from that which isn't in harmony with your 'heart,' and see if it helps any.

All the best..............aissy[:)]

Hello Mick,

I'm responding in regards to your quote, "For myself I think that experience and experiences also play a major role in what we construe as our own reality."

In order to experience an experience, the experience experienced would need to be processed through your mind, would it not? What's your take on it?

I'm always open to new ideas..................aissy

ps: The word 'experience' may have been used one too many times.[:P]

Hi Nagual,

I love it, in all honesty, when someone has a different point of view about 'facts' of life.

So, what's your belief about the perception of one's reality and the thought process?

"Have a mind that's open to everything and attached to nothing" is where I'm coming from.[:)]

Thanks, James S, for your insights about astral deception. It makes  sense...."as you think, so shall you see."
