I am reading Bruce's Astral Dynamics and have just begun exercises in developing NEW pathways. I have not done any for several days, however. After working thoroughly on my legs (the next section is on arms, I haven't read it yet) I have had the experience of electrical shocks. This is like static electricity, only much more severe. It happens when I touch objects that can function as conductors, and when I flick light switches it is so strong I began using other objects that cannot carry electrical current to flick the switch with.
This worried me, and since I have not done any work with NEW for a few days it has begun to fade somewhat. I am concerned that if I progress too far too fast with the work that severe static electrical shocks might graduate to mild electrocutions. That, of course, would not be fun. Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice? It is important to me that I can accomplish the goals I've laid out for myself regarding astral projection, but I don't want to harm myself in the process. Thanks!
