I want to be a cryptozoologist. Has anyone heard of it? Well, if not, look it up, it's rather interesting. Anyways, does anyone know what school would be best to attend to help me? Oh, & on a completely unrelated subject, does anyone know how i can overcome my fear of being in a dark room with a mirror? It's a stupid & embarrasing fear that I think I'd be better off without.

My friend believes that all people are sensitive of the paranormal, though most people's are weak. She also believes I may be hyper-sensitive because of some of the unexplainable occurences I have experienced. (She won't lay off me 'til I post this; she's right here pinching me.) I grew up in a house inhabited by a woman named Irene who had been dead nearly 20 years before we moved in. She never harmed anyone, just knocked on walls, rearranged furniture, & wandered the house. My nephew started having night terrors shortly after his family moved into an old apartment in the ghettos. He is now on meds to help him sleep & keep him from having his nightmares. Once, while staying with them, he started screaming & crying. My efforts to either quite or waken him or in vain. After 10 minutes of sitting with him I carried him to the couch so he could be near me while I went on with what I was doing. About 5 minutes later I hear a woman's voice telling him to hush & everything was going to be ok, yet I was alone with my nephew & niece for the night. The woman even used his name. Another time, at my mother's the kitchen sink turned on by itself. My bedroom door, if not shut completely, will shut itself & the doorknob can be heard turning. My dad's door will slam shut if someone walks into the room. My friends daughter carries conversations with what she says is a glowing orb but is apparently just nothing at all in the bathroom & my dad's room. & Just 2 days ago me & Jodi here were sitting at the curb enjoying a cigarette & talking when we noticed a man clad in all black walking towards us very slowly. The streetlights all went out for a moment & when they came back on, there was no man, though there was a full black cat sitting exactly where he had been when the lights went out. We told this guy who claims to be an ex-Satanist[}:)] about it, & he says it sounds like a shape-shifting cat demon. Anyways, can people be more sensitive to the paranormal than others? Can I be one of those people? And are there such things as Cat Demons? If so, why would he appear to us? Or am I just crazy?[]

Yea, Jodi does make me say alot of things. [] Ummmmm, no, I don't think he studies anything. He's a little doubtful of the whole "ghost thing" as he puts it. Hmmmmm, I certainly hope he's not the cat/guy/thing!!! That'd be a little weird. Haven't seen it again so far, but I haven't sat on the curb for a few nights, either.

SORRY, THIS LETTER IS EXTREMELY LONG!!![B)] Ok, this probably won't help any but this is what I do.
I have a little meditation corner in the dark recesses of my closet where noone but me goes (thats why it's in the closet, noone goes there). It has a small indoor waterfountain (the kind you put on desks), a small table about a foot off the ground where plants, rocks, shells, & mirrors are arranged in a tranquil, calming way. There is a candle I sometimes light on the table, too. There is a mat to sit on, also. I also have a canary I bring in there with me to listen to its song. I pour all my negative energies into a rock before I enter it (sounds dumb, but I can actually feel, & see in my mind's eye,them draining from my body into the rock)so I can keep the space pure & free from all negativities. Then I just sit on the mat in front of the table & focus on the Lil' Sunshine's (that's my bird) song & on the sounds of the moving waters. Sometimes I also focus on a white light I see in my mind (now I KNOW I sound crazy!). I dunno, works for me. Keeps my mind from wandering & really after a minute I no longer hear the sounds, I am just...well, I am JUST. Sounds crazy, I know. Well, sorry, once again for the WORLD'S-LONGEST-STORY!

Jodi is also making me add this: She believes it may be because I have really strong feelings about this guy I've been dating for awhile,[:X] & but I am unsure if he feels the same way about me.[] I dunno. Anyway, she thinks he may be why I am seeing this "sign." She wants to know everyone elses views on it.

Hmmmmmmmm....I frequently suffer horrible migranes. I actually take prescribed painkillers for them. The doctors have done blood work to test me for all sorts of things, from iron-defencency anemia to diabetes. They say nothings wrong with me that they can find. My mother suggested it was from stress or a pollutant in the air, even though the only things I seem to be allergic to are chocolate & dish soaps. I never put much thought into it, I assumed she was right, it was stress. Jodi, being a loyal fan of this site, now thinks maybe I have a weak toughness. She is, once again, forcing me to write something about it. I say it probably is stress, she says that abnormal things happen to me so it must be related to the occurences. I dunno. OOOOOH, saw the guy turn into a cat again, ok, didn't SEE. I just saw him walking on the same path at the same pace, & once again all the street lights went out, when he/it was almost at the same place, & when they turned on, there was nothing but a full black cat sitting where I last saw him. This time I witnessed it alone. Jodi thinks that it means that he/it/whatever, was meant to appear to me, not to her, & that it means maybe I will be confused or feel "in the dark" about something but soon after I will figure it out "or see the light" & it will bring tremendous changes. What does everyone else think?

Thanks everyone. Yea, demon does sound bad, especially since I have no idea what it wanted. It didn't give off a negative aura now that I think about it. Actually, I felt compelled to go to it. I guess it piqued my curiosity. Oh, & on a completely new note, does anyone else see dim, yet pearly white lights around some people? Well, thanks for your help![]

Hey! I get mad at things, too! When I was younger I could make a pencil roll away from me, but I guess maybe I just so happened to be on a slope every time... Either way, I was psyched back then.[]
