I have read Astral Dynamics once through and am currently working on energy raising.  It's coming along very well and I'm rather encouraged at the nice "tinglies" I can summon at will through out my limbs.  And I'm currently working on the basic energy rasing circuit.  I was just wondering what some of your experiences have been like developing your energy bodies?

I was wondering why those of you who can AP do AP?  And for those of you who can't yet (like me), why do you want to?
My sole reason for wanting to do it myslef is to have fun.  Be an astral otter as RB says.  The thought of flying and exploring is extremely fascinating to me.
Of course if along the way, any deeper meaning and purpose come from it, all the better.

I'm in a hotel room for an extended period of time.  The only furniture I have are two beds and two very uncomfortable straight backed wooden chairs.  Question:  How can I best make myself comfortable to raise energy and possibly OBE?  The beds are not recommended on account of it being where I sleep and the chair is practically a torture device from the dark ages.  Thanks.

p.s.  do any of you find that earplugs help?

I just bought "Astral Dynamics..." about a week ago, have read it and have since begun the energy raising techniques described therin.  About two years ago I had an accident and broke my legs hips and back with some rather severe compression of the vertebrae.  I have felt the energy raising and so far have only worked my arms and legs.  My injured leg felt just the same as the uninjured one.  My question I suppose is does anyone know if I can expect any difficulties channeling energy down my back?  I suspect not but just wanted to know if there are any of you out there who may know more than I do.

I havent been spending large amounts of time developing my energy body, but I can feel energy in my hands and feet VERY clearly, in my arms and legs to a lesser degree, so it seems the feelings are lessened the further I go "into the middle" :) Is this a common feeling? However I can feel energy on my brow/third eye, my tongue, nose, crown, and other places.

When I try and raise energy into my abdomen/stomach, I can rarely feel anything up past my thighs, let alone feel it entering a chakra and "filling up". Its hard to practice too when you can't feel anything happening. Itd be interested to know if this is normal, or how to develop this further. Also when trying the full body circuits, I can basically only feel my arms and legs...

Wow, that's exactly the stage that I'm at..good to know!

The bermuda triangle huh?  I've flown over it and there wasn't much to see.  We didn't even get the courtesy of having whatever it is there spin our compass's...not even a little.  I don't have anywhere in particular that I want to visit, not yet anyway.  I just want to fly.  The part in the book where RB describes flying in a thunderstorm sounds especially interesting.

Wow.  I've only been at it a little while, but as of yet, nothing has been painful or uncomfortable.  Just buzing vibrating sensations wherever I'm localizing my awareness.  Also, when I'm doing it, after a few minutes, I can still feel my body, but am not physically aware of the chair I'm sitting in or if I'm in bed, of the covers over me.

Thanks, that's good to know.  :)
