Hi everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself and say that I have enjoyed reading the posts for the last few months. I am working on my first OBE and think I am close but just haven't crossed over. I started with Journeys Out of the Body by Monroe and then Astral Dynamics and it was the perfect transition from reading about it to learning how.

I am at the point where I can put myself in a deep state of relaxation, raising energy, body numb, mind awake, buzzing sound in my ears, energy rippling through my body, and that is as far as I have gotten. Not sure if my problem is that I am not focused hard enough on the mind split or perhaps I am missing the exit. It is not frustrating to me at all as I have really enjoyed all of the side benefits to the meditation aspects of attempting OBE. Any suggestions anyone has keeping in mind that I am very versed with Astral Dynamics from an academic aspect is greatly appreciated! [:D]

I'm no parapsychologist but I would say that I have never seen proof of a spirit flickering lights or moving things around (except in movies), and if they did it would most likely be that they were doing it themselves versus telekinesis (like in the movie Ghost). As for proving OBE's you wouldn't need telekinesis, just being able to know what is going on in the next room in exact detail would be enough for most.
Now I have never had an OBE but I would think that you could create things and move them around, however I don't think anyone in the room would notice unless they had real time sight.

Has anyone here been able to move a physical object in the RTZ with either your mind or your projected body? Seems to me it would be hard to determine if you were actually doing it or it was some kind of reality fluctuation. Any thoughts?

I wonder if it has to do with the amount of energy you are able to maintain. I once went through a period where I had intense dreams and my recall was awesome, and after that nada. So now every night I try to raise energy prior to going to sleep and that seems to have ended the problem.
Perhaps the act of dream recall/shadow memory consumes a lot of energy and if you don't have it you don't remember?
