I'd say you may be drawn natuarlly to this kind of paranoia for some reason and that developing a new way to interpret such things may be amplifying it for now. In the long run though it should help to balance you better and calm you down. Keep at it, and work past the hard parts.

My only advice is to try to stimualte some of her energy, be slow and cautoius though.
Babies naturally have such a large amount of engy that you're primary focs should not necesarily be on sending here your energy but more the development of her energy
Still though keep up the contact and don't limit yourself to what you expose her to

A person is capable of a sort of possesion in that he could hold his nenergy and control it within you. I've heard of this but never seen anyproof. Nevertheless I would like to know more about the specifics of what you believe to be a possesion and why you think you're neighbor is responsible. A cleansing meditation might help if you work hard enough.

Glimpses and what not, yes, this can be easy to notice. But a full room being englfed and a black shadowy cut out. My advice to you get off the acid. I do not see any reason anyone should experience this. The strongest feeling I have gotten was a strange aura confined to a streak in my peripheral of a bright torquoise with a really strong feeling. But that was just strange, happened for about a week then just stopped.
At any rate, above is my strange experience and it was very odd. But it was confined and did linger or move or do anything. I do not know why this should happen.

Opening a major chakra first especially in a higher area is never a good idea. I foundation of tertiary fortification and othe minor chakras and lower major chakras is necesary to healthily and safely develop the etheric body.
You have a hard path in front of you if you try to help her on your own. What you can do is to feel out her energies and remove any old stale blockage and to help the flow through the tertiaries and open other smaller chakras.Also have her work on her own on the NEW method.
But I advize you to find somebody skilled in your area at this kind of medicine.
