I really am not that afraid (ok a bit, but not enough to warrant not going), but I do worry that my friends are being a bit light hearted about all of it.

What follows may seem like a stupid question, and certainly I do believe it to be one of the more idiotic things i may do in my life, but a couple of friends who go to college are planning a trip to a graveyard and I would personally like to know some information about possible protection from negs or other entities. I don't want to meddle in things I don't understand, and if my friends bring out a ouija board I will most probably go home if I do actually go. Even if I don't go, i would like my friends to know a thing or two. Anyway I visted this site a year or two ago while I was interested in AP and thought this would be a good start.

The church and graveyard itself, some may of heard of it before, is in a place called Baldhu in the middle of the County of Cornwall, UK. It is rumoured to be one of the most haunted places in Britain, and have heard numerous tales, largely unsubstantiated. I have had my own experience there before, however. One late night I was walking home from a local nightclub and took a wrong shortcut that forced me through this old area. I walked down a long wooded road that was about 75 meters north of the Church, running east to west. On entry I was convinced that not alot really would happen and I would go home and chide my brother for being a gullible idiot but the strangest thing happened. Towards the end of the road, closer to the end of the woods I saw a red light (it may of been two) that existed for a short period of time. This coincided with a noise (I can only describe as a sort of eerie wind sound... but there was no wind, if you've played Halo on some of the more dull multiplayer levels you may know what I mean) that existed for the same period of time. I continued walking, scared witless, but made a point not to directly look at the end of the road, and use my peripheral vision instead.

I know one other person who has seen red lights, on reviewing camera footage, and somebody else who has felt hands upon their back while walking down the same road that I did.

There is rumoured to be all sorts of rituals that have taken place, and I have it on pretty good authority that a baby was indeed sacrificed there on the church grounds. Apparentely there are reverse pentagrams within the church where some rituals have taken place, although the church is boarded up and it is not likely we (or they) will have access.

So what I would like to ask is this, If they are negs at the church and the surrounding grounds, what can I do to protect myself and others from these entities? For instance salt circle and true pentagrams? Abstinence is quite possible at this stage.

I know very little, but not enough not to be ignorant and wary. Any help would be appreciated.

Funny, when im not trying to AP, I get the closest, and when Im not I can't seem to . Anyway;

Last night I was trying to project and wasnt getting very far, so I gave up, turned on my side (nothing usually happens if I lie like that) and proceeded to fall asleep. The next thing I know, I am hearing this bizarre sound, nothing Ive heard before while trying to AP (keep in mind im not trying to AP, I want sleep!) it was like this horn blowers or whatever, like a clowns horn or something, and it started quite and got louder and louder. I shook fully awake and it was gone. Id like to know what this could be, and I understand it may not be anything to do with AP, but I'm sure some of you might understand.

Im new here, and I have been trying to OBE for about two weeks now. It seems, however, that I cannot progress beyond a certain stage, I think it's the seperation stage.

I will lie on my bed, completely still, trying not to think about anything. And that will go on for about 30-60 minutes, until all of a sudden I will become overcome by vibrations and disorientation.. so far so good. However when it is at its peak my heart will start racing and beating really hard, bringing me out of the vibrations and generally being really annoying

Any Tips?

On another note, I would like to know the difference between OBE and AP, as I would much prefer to just OBE than AP at this stage.

As I said, I don't believe it to be possible with digital, however I am sure it would be possible with a standard analogue camera, simply because it could capture things that a digital cannot. Yes I am a novice but I am approaching these things with a healthy amount of scepticsm.

I believe you were in error thinking that picture would hold some magical qualities allowing to read the lady. The picture is comprised of pixels, or squares of single colour, and I don't understand how anyone could pick up anything esoteric from that picture. I cannot speak for analogue cameras, as they capture everything and isn't filtered by a computer chip but you never really know. It seems to me that nobody gets anything from this picture, and your decision to do this was a little to hasty.

Alternatively, I can't believe you haven't thought about kicking her out purely on the basis that she smells! You have a right to your home, and anybody who works there and stinks up the place aint welcome in my books. Do this for peace of mind, but then, you may never know of her true intent. Listen, what you are describing I don't think I can believe. Kick this lady out, if not for your sake, but then for hers.

As I understand it,

Sorry to bump this, but I think this is an interesting topic. While i'd never ever consider using this for any kind of technique, It is on worth talking about. Once when I was 8 or 9, I started to think about forever, never dying, and it is quite a scary thought. "Would I end up repeating things in the afterlife? Wouldn't it get boring after a while?" These questions I still want answers to, but I have come to terms with it.

I think I agree with you, the first time I really tried to OBE, I got really strong sensations, And I had to "swim" out of it because I was scared and ever since then the sensations have gotten progessively lesser, which kinda sucks because I have tried everything - binaural beats, tensing exercises, triangle method, flowing energy - and I can't seem to get anywhere.

By the way Sctt, It IS possible to see the future as the past present and future all exist at the same time. It is the nature of physics. Therefore it could be possible to see the future, in some esoteric way since it HAS already happened, right now.

And if you don't understand what I have said, your probably not mature enough to be in this place. Your outta your water man, go home.

Doesn't sound like too much to worry about, I think it could just be a waking dream, you were in a lucid state, so you can't really put it down to astral sight....
