I recently found out that i come form a line of physics, As a child i would see ghosts and obe alot. This really scared me so i decided to turn these abilities off. Now that im older and have become educated in what these experiences are, I would like to turn them back on. Which lead to me to this site. I hope that here i can get the support and resources i need to to explore this level of consciousness that i once feared.

Thanks for your answers, im sure it will raise more questions but at least it will help move me forward by alot.

First a bit of background: 

When i was six i started having the first obe's that i remember. These were short, ussualy lasting 4 or 5 seconds before i came crashing to the ground and woke up. This kept repeating until i turned 7, That is when i started really being indoctrinated into Christianity (im not taking a stab at the religion im just stating a fact). The years passed until i was 12 when my dad died. After he died i went through a period where i was not really spiritual at all until i was 16. At 16 i became really paranoid and obsessed  with my own death. This lead me to seek out answers, i found lots of them but none really seemed to completely satisfy me. I always felt a need for an answer that had concrete proof behind it. After exploring lots of different philospys i came upon the concept of reincarnation. This intrigued me, and i read up alot on it. One night when i went to bed i happend to be thinking about it as i went to sleep. As soon i started to fall asleep, My vision went white and i started getting the vibrations. At the time i had no idea what AP's or OBE's were, so i thought i was dieing and woke up right away. It was only until later that i learned what an OBE was.   

So my question is, What are some good ways to finnaly harness this ability that iv'e been unconsciously able to do for a long time.
