lol. i wish i had wit like that, thats an onisaburo answer right there....

it cant be more than first year now that i think about it. they give the definitions of exothermic and endo thermic and we learned those in grade 10 ..

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well.

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

"First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time.  So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell.  Since there is more than one of these religions and since most people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added. This gives two possibilities:

(1) If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.

( 2) If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over...so which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, "...it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you," and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sex with her, then #2 above cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and will not freeze over."

THIS STUDENT RECEIVED THE ONLY "A."

if there's time and things happen there must be a history. every place has some sort of a history, because every thing's interconnected and environments interact with other ones. plus the astral had to be around way longer than the physical universe so i cant see how it couldn't have some sort of a long history with it...

I'm interested in whats happened there over the last billions of years. maybe if someone knew it would reveal answers to hundreds of questions such as why are we here, how we came into creation, and maybe it could even tell us whats going to happen in the future.

in permanent astral topics, the thread for downloading the hemi-sync doesn't work, it just sends you to the homepage. i don't know if it could be corrected, but if it could that would be great, or could someone possibly tell me somewhere else i could get it? thank you

hi paulusz

i've had similar experiences with negs. none were as reoccurring as yours or even from the same neg, but i too realized that using things to help defeat it is really a false battle. one morning a few years back right when i started AP, i tried to project and i got this weird feeling like some bad presence but i continued to try to project. after a while i came face to face with two negs and there was no real fight but i just felt this huge fear and they had this presence to them that just made me feel powerless and hopeless. it was hell. after that i became deeply afraid and felt powerless to negs and suddenly my dreams turned to nightmares and was afraid to go to sleep. everything went away after a couple of weeks though. i think i got used to them and it all just sorta died down, but i later realized that being afraid is what gave them their power over me. in your case you tried to manage them with things like salt and incense, but i think that using material things to fight them is what gave them their power over you, because it acts as a crutch if you think thats what you need to use in order to beat them. you already have the power to begin with.

anyways. good job for kicking neg-butt!

for any of you who have enough experience to know... what's the history and current state of the astral? is there much of a history? or does it even have a state? by state i mean something like for example the state that our world is in and the challenges and problems it's facing. anyways, i've just been wondering about this ever since i've taken up astral projection..

i was just wondering out of personal intrest if anyone has had any experiences or encounters with deities while in the astral?

i need your help!
my girlfriend cant remember a thing once she wakes up, and im wondering if there's anything that someone could do so they could remember their dreams.. i know there's writing them down once you wake up, but in her case there's no memory of anything that she dreamed about. any help of any sort would be appriciated.

hi! i know many of you have experience in reiki, but im wondering if anyone's experienced with kotodama. i recently got interested in it but there's little of it on the net and no teachers in my area [:(]
so far i know 4 mantras but i only use one regularly to help prep myself before i try to project because i find it calms my mind and puts me at peace with things.

anyways, im just curious if anyone that's in this forum practices and could teach me a little bit about it or help me out a bit[:)]

hey, i'm just wondering if it's possible to project into heaven and if anyone has.. i've heard stories of a couple people in particular going there without dying like this man named onisaburo deguchi one of the founders of omoto kyo. anyways, i believe it's possible but i wonder if it's connected to astral projection. maybe it's something else, i don't know. any answer/insight would be greatly appreciated.

hey people
ok, i've been practicing to have an OBE for a while now and i cant get past the stage where you just feel small sensations throughout your body. im wondering where i'm going wrong too.. i dont think it's relaxation even though i dont spend much time on it because nothing is really in pain, everything is relatively relaxed, and the only things that distract me are itches (most of the time). i think it's just that i dont know any good techniques.. meh, if any of you can give me any tips or pointers please dont hesitate. oh, and thank you![:D]

hi hi[:D]
ok so a couple of nights ago I was trying to get to sleep in the heat and I suddenly doze off and I wake up into this trance. at first I thought I was sitting up and I didn't know where I was in my room even though I was laying down in the same spot I do every night. also I had some really intense vibrations in my arms, I cant remember which one but at one point one of them felt like it was on fire! anyways, I tried to project for hours but I couldn't for some reason. well this is common for me, I've never been able to have an obe by trying, it just happens on it's own normally but whatever. I need some tips on trying to project on my own!!! rope doesn't work for me, and I have no problem getting into trance and feeling vibrations... but I cant get strong vibrations throughout my whole body on my own, and I cant get past the trance stage. if you have any tips, useful techniques or whatever please share and I'll try them out. thanks a lot too! bye[;)]

Hi everyone,

i have a few questions about sleep paralysis, ever now and then i'll have a really really weird dream that normaly involves me loosing control of my body, and then i uaualy get visions of demons or satan or whatever. but then i wake up, or sometimes just go into another dream and will have sleep paralysis. normaly this happens when i try to obe before i go to bed too.

just a few minutes ago i was reading a reply in another topic that was made by kazbadan and he was going saying how he takes advantage of them to project by just trying to move your astral body.

now.. if your in the middle sleep paralysis but you're being tormented in your dreams by evil things, would it be a good idea to keep on trying to project? and if you are going to try to are there any techniques you can use to not let yourslef be distracted by haunting images? any ansers or insite would help me out alot because i might have found myself a shortcut[:)]

ok, a couple of weeks ago i had a really weird obe in school, atleast i think it was an obe. anyways, it was the first class of the day and i took a nap while my class was watching a movie, and i somehow left my body and i was floating about a foot away from the ceiling, then i stayed there for a bit wondering what the hell happend. i also didnt know how to move around too well so i just floated in the same area for a bit.

im not totaly sure if it was an OBE though, so i was wondering if anyone experienced could help me figure that out. it felt like one (i've had a couple before), and after i got out of it my body i felt some vibration and was totaly calm and at peace. but it was also involentary, and i have no memory of anything before i left my body so im not sure....

i guess it doesnt even really matter, but if i had an involentary obe during class it would be messed up and kinda cool. anyways if u think u can help me figure this out, please do.

quote:

I've met with many awakened masters.. In various temples in the astral. I never waste any my astral experiences. To name a few to verify by invoking them in the astral.
Cagliostro, kout humi, sanat kumara, Moria, Samael Aun Weor
Saint Germain, Anubis. Nothing is like the experience of being taught at the foot of the masters.

View others I haven't had a chance to verify but i'm planning to in the near future are:
Rabolu
Jeshua Ben Pandira (which HP Blavatsky Verified as Jesus)
Belzebuub
melkezedek
Buda (Gautama Sakiamuni)
Pythagoras
Quetzalcoatl

yes! im glad i've found someone who's had some interesting encounters with deities... overfien, could you possibly share some of your experiences? for the past while i've been attempting astral projection for the sake of meeting with a deity. one in particular named the "mizu spirit" in japanese myth. i havent been very sucessful with astral projection yet though because i always fall asleep[V] but i am making some progress. anyways i've got one more question for you. once i actualy do astral project, how can i invoke a spirit or deity? sounds complicated[:P] and thanks
#19
good point. i have no real clue of the answer to that question, so maybe if people just use their own judgement. so if you think you've seen a deity PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT IT! im interested! thanks[:D]

lol i'm grade 12 too! i know this is lame but what i want to be is a martial arts grandmaster and teach not only martial arts but philosophy too. but since that takes decades and decades, i'm gonna become a pharmacist first. or since that will be a really boring job i might decide to become a part time natural path.. both seem like great careers[:D]. but no matter what i want to become a grand master and run my own gym. hopefully i will be some great influence on people no matter what becomes of me[:)]

RPGs are great[:D]! i used to play warhammer, and had a pretty nice army too, but it got waay to expensive and all the people who played in my area i found annoying. i mostly just stick to old playstation rpgs, and right now im playing the best game ever created[^]. it's called xenogears, and if anyone is into RPG video games i strongly recomend it playing it[;)]

but what about those who have claimed to have been there or have seen it? i dunno, i believe in both heaven and hell. plus i've done some research on the subject and onisaburo deguchi (from my knowledge) seems to be that latest one to have gone there (late 1800s) and his discription corroborates with swedenborgs, and these were two totaly different people from different cultures and different times.. so i dont know if it's totaly what you make of it or turn it into depending on your beleifes, but i think your beleifes could change how you preceive things.. well im still a beginer and i am definatly not as well informed as most of you at this site, but thats just my oppinion.
#23
i've heard of that swedenborg guy.. i'll go look him up right now [:)]. basicly what this whole thing on heaven is about, is because i think that would be the best place to learn from guides and dietys, and it could somehow influence my life greatly. it would be possible to get advise and guidance from the highest levels, not to mention visiting any great influential people and decised family members... i dunno, one of the better places to go to. martial arts rocks! i've been doing tae kwon do for over a year now, and im not too bad. actualy a couple days ago i got my bluestripe belt [^] i think any martial art is a great practice, and if you turn it into a way of life it's even better.. none are neccisarily better but i think aikido is the most evolved philisophicly, all i've done is read books on it but the founder was a very very interesting person, and makes bruce lee look like a white belt. anyways i'll stop my babbaling[|)]
