i was wondering if Aping is really as easy as some people say. one person said making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is harder then APing. I have been trying to AP for about 2 months, and have read Astral Dynamics. i dont think im doing anything wrong but have never had a successful OBE that i am aware for. any direction or help would be great. i am very commited to AP, and really want to be a successful APer.

i was wondering if anyone could give me a very detailed run-thru of what they do to AP. such as what you feel, what you think, what you look for, and stuff like that. i have only read about what i am suppose to do, but never what is felt when doing these things. thanks-

ok, so when i lay in my bed, and get relaxed, and get into the trance state, i get this very weird feeling that i am looking out of the side of my head. it feels as tho i am not in my body, but sort of half way out, looking to the right of me. i have no idea what it is, and i have never APed before- at least not one that i can remember. dunno what it could be, but kinda weirds me out. any help would be much appreciated.

I love this forum because no one i know is really interested in APing. everyone i have tried to explain it to thinks i am crazy. so i have given up. I like talking on AIM, and my screen name is Oddjob1531. I'de love to talk to anyone about it, and i am in need of a little help. i dont know a whole lot about it, and want to know as much as possible. I'm lookin forward to meetin everyone on the forum. ok, me and my friend had a very big discussion on whether or not a blind person could see when he/she is APing. From what i have heard, a blind person who has been blind their entire life, does not see. he/she has the sensation of being up and moving around, but see's nothing. but for someone who was blinded later in their life, do they see? can they see the present time, or is everything they see only what they remember from before they were blind. If a blind person wants to see what his best friend looks like, and has not seen his face for 10 years, when he APs, will he see his friends face as what he saw 10 years ago, or what he looks like now? we talked about this for a very long time, and I have never talked to anyone other then him about it. so, if this makes any sense... i would like to hear what anyone who knows has to say.

I have heard that drugs can help when it comes to APing. I was wondering if some heavy duty pain killers would help with the process of relaxation and if it would help you drift into the state of awareness any faster. I have trouble focusing, especially for long periods of time. Would Ridlin help that? I use ridlin, but I have never used it while trying to AP. I have not tried it with any drugs, and just want some input on what you guys (and girls) think about using drugs. I saw the post about Marijuanna, but will any other drugs work? I know APing is natural, and that drugs may interfeir, but any input would be great, neg. or pos.

Hey, I'm new at this, and I was wondering how you will know if you doing it right. I have never projected all the way, and I was wondering what some signs were that it is actually working. I have been meditating, and going thru all the steps, and I felt 3 or 4 flashes of white all over me. Is this a sign that I am doing it? Any help would be great.

well, i have heard some great agruements. i will have to experiment a little bit, and want to let everyone know that i use ridalin in a controlled enviornment, and is given to me by my docter under his order. i do not abuse it like some of you may think. i just wanted a little input on what your thoughts were on using drugs to help APing. Thanks Gopherboy for the funny post [:)] and thanks for the input. From what i can get, drugs work for some, and to others, the only way to AP is on your own. I will get better at it and hopefully be on my way to a colorful new world.
