Energy work is a good idea.  One technique I use in a lot of my healing videos is to breath healing energy into the solar plexus and then breath it out to the afflicted area.  This is good idea for the stomach whenever you eat as it will help neutralize any negative energy in the food.  Also send some energy to the higher self's of the life forms you are consuming.

I have had stomach healing on my list for a long time, I hope to get to it soon.  Stomach health is important and the proper assimilation of nutrients and elimination of wastes is necessary to good health.

People get all kinds of odd sensations from meditation including tingling, itching, coughing, erections, and various other things.

When you get these feelings just be aware of them.  Say to yourself "I am having a feeling of restlessness."   Observe the anxious and restless feeling.  When the feeling subsides try to follow it back to where it came from.

The important thing is that it is a good thing.  You are clearing out your energy pathways.

Those are some very good articles and the Eckhart Tolle video was interesting.  Thanks for the good stuff!

In response to those articles I would agree that mindfulness is an important part of any practice.

What happened in "The Myth of the Experienced Meditator" is what is supposed to happen.  One gets to the point where they can drop all techniques.  However I would not consider the years spent meditating as a waste, it was part of the process of getting to the point where all techniques can be dropped.  I believe Osho mentions this in "The Book of Secrets."

"Meditation – Correct Breathing"
Yes I agree there is definitely a correct way to breath.  I mentioned it in my breath meditation video but did not go into it in detail as that would have been too much for beginners.  I plan on doing something about correct breathing in a future video.

I have been greatly influenced by a very small book "Science of Breath" by Yogi Ramacharaka It was written 100 years ago and is now available free online: http://www.sacred-texts.com/eso/sob/index.htm

He explains about breath and the yogi complete breath then about rhythmic breathing and a lot of other good stuff.

'What is "Intent"'

As I said in response to another of your posts meditation helps focus intent.  In the end it all boils down to intention.  If you take Tom Campbell's "My Big TOE" theory he uses the metaphor of the multiverse being a giant computer we could just as easily view it as a big mind and we are all thoughts.  Everything starts with a thought and in the end thoughts are all there is.  So intention becomes a very powerful thing.

I also recommend Wayne Dyer's book "The Power of Intention."

You hit the mark well with this article.  I have been telling people to do daily breath meditation to help with AP, OBE. Lucid Dreaming etc.  I have even told a few people to stop trying AP for a while and just do breath meditation (they were trying too hard).

There are many benefits to meditation.

Meditation will reduce stress and anxiety, lead to greater emotional control, improve memory, increase compassion, and increase focus.

Changes occur to the brain that can be seen on brain scans.

There is a thickening of brain tissues in the areas of emotional control. Also various other changes have been observed.

The spot he is referring to has been known for thousands of years.  It is called the Third Eye also known as the 6th Chakra (Ajna).

The Ajna is the part that sees the non-physical.

At least one Yoga Asana I am aware of that involves looking up at the third eye and I am sure there are more.

Meditative techniques that involve looking up at the third eye go back thousands of years, for instance in the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra, a text that is considered to be at least 4500 years old the 5th technique is as follows:

Attention between Eyebrows,
let mind be before thought.
Let form fill with breath essence
to the top of the head
and there shower as light.

This means you look up at your third eye while willing prana to flow into the top of your head.

Also looking up at the third eye is quite common in meditations designed to open the third eye.  I am guessing that the third eye must be at least somewhat open and active before you could astral project.

I know this post is old and I hope your healing has progressed well.   I have many healing videos that are freely available on youtube. I also have a a set of videos for Spinal Healing.  The videos contain healing frequencies and a meditation based on Yoga healing techniques.

There are 12 version of my Spinal Healing video.  The first 6 contain the same binaural and isochronic beats, with the first having just binaural and isochronic beats and the other 5 having added sounds such as wind, rain, wind & rain, pink noise, plastic crinkle ASMR.

The second 6 have the same frequencies but is pure binaural (that is no isochronic pulses).  This is because a very small percentage of people find isochronic pulses to be unpleasant.  The same system of versions with added sounds wind, rain, wind & rain, pink noise, plastic crinkle ASMR described above is used with this set and in many of my videos.  The meditation and the healing frequencies are the same in all 12 videos.  Some people prefer the added sounds and others do not.  Do what works best for you.

Healing meditations really do work so if my videos are not for you then please try some other healing meditations from another source. It can really help a lot.

I like to focus on what can be done in this lifetime.  I have even said "If enlightenment takes eons of lifetimes then I will worry about in a few eons :-)"

There are so many ideas of how reincarnation works.  Whenever someone gets an intuitive idea from the universal consciousness they understand it within the framework of their understanding. They come to realize some great truth and then fit it into their religious beliefs.  Lots of things get added to it along the way. 

I think we can take some general things from all this but when we try to get to specific and detailed we run into all that added stuff.

I think there is something to the idea of reincarnation and Karma.  However I doubt the details are truly known by anyone and if they are how do we know which version is correct?

I remember when the buzzword was "digital".  I laughed hysterically at ads for digital MP3 players and other devices that don't exist unless they are digital.  Like they want you to believe that their MP3 players are more digital than the others :?

Now I guess the buzzword is "Apps."  Everyone wants an app.

Someone suggested that I make an app for my YouTube channel at first I though it was not a good idea.  I thought YouTube already has an app that probably works better than anything I could do.  Then I decides that maybe even if an app is not necessary, I might still want it because apps are the in thing and having an app might attract more views.

I looked into making an app for a YouTube channel and found that I would have to be nuts to do it. I would not be able to display ads, annotations or cards and I am not sure if I could access YouTube's commenting system. There are other reasons as well.

I guess the moral of the story is that apps do not make everything better.

So I guess it is back to working on my "World Peace" digital app (It will bring world peace and be the most digital app ever)  :lol:

For thousands of years it has been known to the practitioners of Yoga that matter (Akasa) comes from energy (Prana) and energy comes from mind (Chitta).

Einstein proved that matter comes from energy, and quantum physics supports (but does not prove) that energy comes from mind.

I think I know where they guy is.  Just before the original post was made I had a ghost problem.  I cleared it up by using an extoplasmic vacuum cleaner to suck up the ghost.  Then this guy's friend goes missing :-D

I believe that good and evil are quantifiable energies.  Even though they are constructs of consciousness they are part of the evolution of consciousness.

So it makes sense to me that as time goes on we evolve these concepts.

It is interesting to note that many religions have some kind of snake that tempts people into eating some kind of fruit that then frees them from a perfect and ideal life.  According to a video I saw by Joseph Campell many religions except Christianity view it as a release from bondage.

If god were all good could he bring about evil?  Wouldn't an act that creates evil be the most evil act of all?

If God is neutral then evil is a separate thing and God is composed of equal amounts of good and evil.

If God is all good then evil is merely the absence of good.

I once got off the train at the same stop I had been for 18 months to go to the bank.  The bank was not there the street was compleatly different.  Two streets had changed names.  I now look out the train window when getting off the train rather than relying on the station name.

I also once went down the stairs at a station and found myself on the wrong platform.  I had to go up and down the other set of stairs.  Odd before and since then the stairs go to opposite platforms.  I now read the signs rather than going down the same stairs I have been going down for over a year :-D

This is probably a joke but if it were real then the person should be rushed to the emergency room.  It sounds like a stroke to me.

I have read that things take time to change in RTZ.  i.e. people see furniture that has not been there for while.  But that is cool seeing something that was not there YET!
