Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Dementia

What happens to the ethereal body/ consciousness/ mind if a person loses their vitality and suffers of prolonged dementia? Where does the energy go? If they die then, do they have a sudden wake up feeling? Or is memory/ consciousness being assembled somewhere in the meantime, moved over to some other body than the physical?

Perhaps someone can answer.

I'd be very happy if Bob could comment upon this too.

Forums Bugs Reports and Questions / Avatars

I don't seem to be able to download an avatar. Is it because I'm a newbie or is it an error (and if so, how can it be remedied)?

I have also noticed that there probably are internet vampires, people who, for example, post racist statements on internet forums and persist and visibly relish in the emotional storms they cause. Sometimes such posters make me feel somehow obliged to answer them (and it can turn into an obssession) and emotionally drained. Do you think it's a kind of vampirism or perhaps just plain trolling?

I am open to psychic attacks from living aggressive people who use my life energy to fill their own deficits. I know I open myself to them via empathy. I am quite empathic and almost automatically switch to empathy when I communicate with people. It's really good when the others are okay and not psychically aggressive but when I come across someone who is I really give up lots of energy and quite fast too. First I start feeling cold around my heart, then in my entitre body, and then I get depressed for several days of weeks. Through meditation and self-healing I always recover but it's a dangerous way of life. Not very convenient either: recently I had to quit a well paid job to get away from a strongly energy draining place. Escape seems to be my only self-defense.

Please advise me something which is less auto-destructive. There is an energy vampire in my new workplace and as much as I try to avoid him our paths cross sometimes. I don't want to run away - I enjoy my job most of the time and most of the people I meet there are nice and peaceful.

I'm pretty certain I was Dag Hammarskjöld.

I always knew that on some level.

Don't know why.

I have no proof, no real memories, just a strong feeling.

Or else, he was my SO or very close friend.

I don't think it's cool to post in an "insider language" on a public forum where most people don't understand the language.

In fact, I strongly resent it.

How exactly does it feel?

I am asking because my crown chakra is strong and has always been my strongest chakra. I might not notice things that happen to it because I'm so much used to it. So I'd like to know how I can tell?

I often dream I am in Iceland or in the US (never been to either).

Where am I then?

Hi everyone! Thanks again for all the advice. I've read Slate's and Harbour's book and I have made a shield and bought some cool new hematite jewelery. It seems to work.

Unfortunately, the site you recommended, Nita (http://www.astralhealer.com/) won't load.

Welcome to Dreams! / Fall in Love in Dreams
June 28, 2004, 03:15:40
yes, absolutely! that happened many times.

But the last time I fell in love, the love of my life, I didn't dream it - I had a kind of a revelation. I was in London at the time, in a record store. I had a third eye vision of the person I fell in love with, and a feeling of enlightenment.

At that time there was no chance for the two of us to be together, absolutely impossible on this plane.

But we are together. :)

I think there are two kinds at least: those who lean on others for life energy (directly) and those who use other people's emotions to get to their life energy. The first are "just" leaving one feeling drained (but alive) and the latter can literally beat you up spiritually. Most of them do that instinctively (they don't know  what they are doing, some probably think they have "unusual leadership talents" or the like).

Usually one has to let them in - via empathy or direct contact. If that doesn't happen they sometimes go for it and take it themselves - i.e. by suicide threats (forced empathy) or physical contact, violent or not, trespassing on another's space. It can be touching someone's arm. That happened to me last week. I avoided eye contact with the vampire, did not engage in anything other than polite and distant conversation and kept out of his space. Suddenly he approached me and touched my arm. That did it :(

thank you for answering pyro! please describe how to make the shiled.

yes, you're right, I know some vamps who are not aggressive and one who is so loveable and peaceful that I would genuinly like to help her. The ones that freak me out the most are those who attack others verbally and literally try to scare them (my ex boss was like that) or those who flirt with you and then suddenly leave you there shuddering with cold. Creepy people.
