Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / God
June 18, 2005, 16:02:58
Quote from: no_leaf_cloverUsing the term 'God' in a concept totally unrelated to Christianity is no more meaningful than using 'Jolly Green Giant'

Hehe, A Muslim may disagree with you there....

Well, I am still interested in the original poster's experience with exploring "new religious thought" whether it contains God, or not. And how he personally arrived there.

I am not challenging his statements, just wondering were they came from.

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / God

I am wondering if the original concepts he was communicating were things that someone else told him, or if he had direct knowledge or experience of those concepts...

Call it what you will, but the question remains the same

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / God

Quote from: nighttrooperI understand entirely what you mean by this becoming a belief system.

I really hope for everyone's sake that they get tot he point that they are able to experience God rather than just believing or not believing in Him

I am glad that you included this last sentence, as it was missing from your first post.

I think that what you believe about God, you learn.  Either by what someone else tells you about God, or by what your experience of God is.

Just what has your experience of God been?

Welcome to Dreams! / How to LD
March 14, 2005, 13:58:55
I had my first LD a in a while a few days ago.

I became self-aware and said to myself:

I am lucid dreaming

I am having a lucid dream

Oops, I am awake....

All in about 5 seconds.  lol

Consider making the cleanup a meditation.  Focus only on what your body is doing during this meditation.  The movement of your body, your breath going out and coming in.  Stay in the moment not thinking of the past or what you might do in the future.

If your roomies mess the room up, you can be thankful for  another  opportunity to practice this meditation.

"but do read Journey of Souls or Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton."

I do so agree...  Wonderful books, indeed.

I've just ordered his newest title:

"Life Between Lives: Hypnotherapy for Spiritual Regression"

Leave the paid forum visable, but not postable, by everyone for three or four months so that all can see if this is an investment that they want to make.

After that the paid subscribers can post their ten dollar thoughts with more privacy.
