i know that there are a lot of conflicting statements circulating about the internet that we are headed towards some sort of spiritual awakening or enlightenment. at times it seems really hard to believe all these different view points, theres so many lies to sort through. but i know without a doubt in my mind that something is really happening on our planet, but i am not even sure what. i am a 19 year old male from edmonton alberta, and was probably one of the biggest self proclaimed atheists around i hated any kind of belief in an afterlife. i even sing in a death metal band, which is associated with satanism or atheism i am sure most of you know the stereotypes. about a year ago though i had a really strange experience and was convinced that i was abducted by aliens. i never even gave to much thought to the occult or paranormal, until after that night, it completly changed my outlook on life. i was lying in my bed having a hard time falling asleep because i was plagued with chronic insomnia i heard a noise, looked up at my window and saw on of those "greys" staring right back at me after that there was a flash and i was in my bed back arched gasping for air. now that i can look back at that experience i think it was more like my own personal spiritual awakening and may not have been an alien at all but was some kind of entity not from our physical world. it was my wake up call you know, just telling me theres a lot more to reality than we could have possibly imagined and since then i have become very spiritual. i still sing in the band but the content of our music has changed i am trying to get my message out to hose people, that particular group because i love heavy music but it doesnt have to be stuck to one stereotype. also the weather around here is not normal there have been two tornados in the past month right by my house, and the last time there was one in edmonton it was 1987. things are definatly changing without a doubt, its just a matter of what is going to happen.

i got the idea the other day that maybe this fith dimensionality (spirit world, the afterlife whatever one may call it) is pretty much just like the glue holding together our physical world. so im starting to think that its not higher above us but more like a backdrop upon which our physical reality is played out, piecing together the way we perceive time, and how physical laws of nature effect our universe. it would make sense that one would go there when one died because it exists outside of time, or more so all of time exist at once so anything or anyone that has ever came into existence has its place in that realm. but im straying off my topic, i belive that our physical reality is only held steadfast because of those other dimensions, and this is even the view point of many physcists who are into new physics. that those rolled up alternate dimensions directly affect and make real our physical reality. new physics and metaphysics/spirituality whatever have a lot in common, and the two in conjuction could probably bring us closer to knowing the universe than ever before. i would like to hear other peoples views on this.

i have always wondered about who i was in a past life but could never get into a state to figure it out, but the other day i had a pretty strange experience. i told my friend nina of this very vivid and important dream i had (which is also in the dreams section) about a floating island which it seemed as if i was viewing from above the earth, like a continent. on it there were pyramids and old run down building made of stone, and i knew it had some meaning. at the same time i was becoming obsessed with finding out more about my past life so when i told her of my dream she helped me to look more into it (shes quite the visionary). the island i decided was atlantis, and it was a place i had been before. i told her of the large record books that were kept there and such and after awhile i felt i could make a prediction about something. i told her that they would soon find those pyramids under the water somewhere and they would, along with the pyramids on our planet and other ancient structures like stonehenge, tell something very important coming soon in our lifetime. after saying this she said that she could see i was a seer in a past life, and i blurted out edgar cayce. i have never really known much about him before that except that he had been the sleeping prophet or whatever and told his prophecies in a trance.  really intrigued i went and read his biography and found that i was born exactly 40 years after he died (1945 i was born in 1985) and that my birthday was only two days off of his (cayces-march 18  and mine is march 20 both pisces) when he was younger he almost lost his ability to talk due to a throat paralysis and i sing in a heavy metal band (lots of screaming) and months before i read this or had the dream i have been terrified of losing my voice permanently because of complications arising from it. i have no idea if any of this is possible and know that there are probably many people who believe to be this reincarnation of him, but i am wondering if any one can help me to find out if there is any truth in this or i dont know, give me something to work with i really need an answer.

im usually pretty good at interpreting my dreams but i have been very troubled this one reoccuring dream of mine. the scenery is exactly as it is around my house and i am always interacting with people i know from my everyday life but the one constant is that we're staring at something, and what it is is this island but in the sky. for some reason i know its really important and means something, on it i can see pyramids and old decrepit buildings, its as if i am staring at a continent from above, but viewing it from the earth and its in the sky. i get this feeling that its something that i have really been waiting to see and signifies something really important like another world, but now i know it exists. and nearly all my dreams lately have been of lights and objects in the sky, ufos and such. is there something important about the sky when you dream of it?

FUTURE YEARS

a morbid beauty glows in resonation

well i was kinda weirded out because it wasnt something that normally would happen to me in my sleep, but i wasnt afraid or anything it was just different. the impression that i got was that they couldnt let me see them or i would be really freaked out but wanted their pressence to be known.

i have been having the exact same experiences for awhile now too. on certain nights after i close my eyes to go to sleep i can see my room exactly how it would be but everything is colored differently, more brightly and i can also see the outlines of my arms and what not. usually nights that this happens i wake up with the impression that there is something in my room and i will have sleep paralysis. the last time it happened i was frozen in my bed and could only open one eye at a time but could also only see the two walls in my room and not into the middle, i knew there were two beings standing there staring at me but wouldnt let me see them i also felt they were very tall but maybe not the same height. im so happy i found this website i have honestly thought i have been slowly losing my mind for the past nine months but everything strange that i have been experiencing other people have felt too, its really comforting. also when i am out or at work and get the feeling that something is there that i just cant see, i will close my eyes and can see light from where the pressence would be maybe you should try that.

haha yeah the singing does contribute to it, but its kind of my career at the time, my doctor said it should be fine but i have to quit smoking(which is probably for the best anyways) i got the same tingling sensation in my scalp when i read about edgar cayce on the internet which always happens when i know something is true (just like a bell going off in my head) i think this is something i really need to look into and if anyone has a good site i could learn some more personal details about edgar cayce it would be much appreciated, or perhaps a good color picture of his eyes i would like to compare the resemblance.

you know i had this lucid dream once and it wasnt like any video game that i knew of but at the same time i did have this sense i was in a video game. it made it way easier to manipulate what was happening and it was almost as if i could conciously do whatever i wanted. it was at a school and i saw some children there sitting on a bench with skateboards, i had already realized it wasnt real so i picked up the board and hit him in the face with it. i got absolutely no response out of him but it really seemed that i was in some sort of video game.
