This is my 8am journal entry from today:


It's amazing.  It seems that I have become pretty adept at being
able to consciously leave my body.  This morning at around 6am I was
laying in bed, awake.  Couldn't sleep but could feel the paralysis
enveloping me.  I have developed this fascination with looking at my
astral hands.  But they are difficult to move when you are half
in/out.  They look completely clear with little energy surges, not
really full actual hands.  I have also started checking my room for
visitors.  Like the other night I had a baby floating above me.
Another night there was this ninja looking man holding a japanese looking text in his hands.  Of course I had no idea what it was called or what it read.  It seems I am limited at times in my knowledge when my conscious brain is experiencing these things but i am sure if I wasn't conscious I would have gotten something out of it.  I guess it's a trade-off.  There were no visitors this morning.  I blink in and out of places, I don't actually feel myself moving unless I am floating up.  And sometimes I will find myself flying or going in and out of water.  

So I blinked out and found myself in this hallway of what seemed to be a dimly lit building, pretty old, but it reminded me of a
school building.  As I'm walking down the hallway, I seem to be
following other people.  A flier gets handed to me (bright blue and
clear) and words just form on it like this.  It says:

There are a number of you who are here
and who may be allowed to

limited in recent years.  But certainly

from the web-site is that it had a

At first I read this as "alternate"  but noticed that it actually said
ALTENATE.  Could it have been an astral mis-spelling?  If so, it's
pretty funny.  I see a marker and a white-board and go to grab the
marker to write down the web-address, and I was told, or I knew that I
joined my lab for a reason.  To just trust in it.   But then I blink
out again and find myself back in my room looking up at my lamp.  I
was drifting in/out of my body but my body was still very much
paralyzed.  At one point my lamp had one red dot of light on every
corner.  Then I heard the clanging of keys.  I thought it was my
house-mate.  But then my bedroom door opened.  And it was a man with
dark hair.  I was like what the hell???  I was annoyed and tried to
form the words on my lips "Who's there?"  but it came out like a
jumbled mess (I still had no control over my body yet) and the person
just kinda laughed and was around my desk area and then shut the door.
I felt this surge of energy in my head again, and heard this buzzing.
Then I was fully back in my body and started writing this.  In
retrospect:  It seems that I am not yet able to control my own OBE.
Like my conscious worldly brain is not the one that is doing the
guiding here.  Maybe my higher self?  Whch is fine because I don't
want to disrupt how things would normally happen without my conscious
awareness of it.  What I really want is to find out things and
remember them here.  I'll take what I can get.  I walked out of my
room to check if my house-mate was home.  She was, but asleep.  She
also has red hair and isnt as tall as the figure in my room.  Right
now, I can't fully open my door because of the pile of clothes behind
the door for Goodwill.  And I distinctly remember the door opening all the way and the person standing in between my desk and door without trouble.  Who was this visitor?  I don't know.  And why would they open the door?  They seemed amused with me nevertheless.

Hi!  I am new to this forum but have been having conscious OBEs since I was 17 and have had lucid dreams all my life.  I had a peculiar experience this morning and maybe someone here can help me out?

I didn't go to sleep until 5am this morning. As I was falling asleep but still completely conscious, I felt the sleep paralysis. I decided to just let it happen instead of fighting it. I heard the buzzing and could hear my body breathing, but I was already displaced from it. I started floating to the ceiling. When I looked up, I saw a baby, about the age of when they first learn to crawl. The baby was literally floating around, near my ceiling lamp. I was amazed at how vivid I could see everything because sometimes things are so foggy. I asked for even more clarity so that I could see more clearly. I then noticed that the baby had bluish eyes, and light hair. It also had a blanket and was definitely a boy. I was a little confused as to why a little baby would be floating above me and why I would encounter one again. This has happened before. Another time when I was OB, I saw a baby just hanging out in my closet. So anyway, I got as much detail as I could. For some reason I wasn't allowed to really control my actions in this OBE so I broke free from the paralysis and wrote what I saw down. Then I went back to bed again and again the paralysis came. I drifted in and out of my body, all the time looking up at the ceiling seeing this giggling baby boy.

No I am not pregnant. Plus, I have dark hair and eyes, I'm Arab! Where would this blonde baby come from, for at least a 3rd visit that I remember? And I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? Anyone had this experience before?

Well, I am not sure what it all ment. But if you look into your life, and think a little, there would be some meaning to it.

Maybe do a search on ALTENATE? maybe thats a user on this forum? Maybe you just read it wrong, when you go oobe sometimes vision is blurry or not so good.

Thanks!  Yeah it was a little helpful, thinking about it.  I did do a search on altenate, but ehh nothing really useful came up.  Oh well

Yeah I have had visitors too.  Many of them just seemed to be amused by me.  That's about all.  I don't think they are evil.

Does anyone know what this person was doing in my room?  Why would it open my door?

how does the baby make you feel?

I wasn't sure I felt anything.  But I guess I got the feeling that it was innocent and happy.  I was basically just watching it watch me.  Hmm.  Why trainspotting?  I haven't seen that movie in the longest time!

But, here's an idea:

Can you induce lucid dreams? If not, you should work on that. (Currently I'm using a book called Lucid Dreams in 30 Days.) Then, before you fall asleep, vow to yourself that you will ask the symbol (the baby) to say what it really means. When you become lucid, do just that. Ask it what it means, if it refuses, say that you have the power to destroy it because you created it (hopefully, since it's in  your dreams).

Yeah I can induce lucid dreams.  Wouldn't it be better to just ask it in the astral though?  It could just be a baby out of body in the night deciding to visit.  I wasn't sure how to ask it what it was doing.  I don't think I created it.  Thanks for the idea though.

I realize that the baby could just be astral and visiting.  I don't have neighbors with babies, as we are all students.  But this same baby seems to be visiting me, he is in my dreams too.  That's probably due to me sub-ing a dream-scape with astral though.  Hmm, I just don't understand why on earth a baby would want to visit me?
