it isnt uncommon to see other people when astral travelling, and if you saw the ceiling then im guessing you were, if things become confusing you're possibly slipping back into lucid, though im not sure how to stop this, try concentrating on your hands for a while. if you want to know if your obeing i suggest next time you see if you can see your body, although seeing your body might send you back. i dont know whether this helps or not but good luck anyways, kudos to you. xxxxx

the other day i was feeling extremely upset and i asked the angels to protect me and comfort me, and give me a sign, (never asked anything like this before) and i was round someones house id never been to before and as i was sitting down a white feather dropped into my lap from nowhere and i heard a name being said in my head but i cant remember it now, it began with an h,  everyone was asking why i gasped but i didnt say coz i thought id sound stupid, but holding it, i could feel so much energy coming from it, making my hand hard to close, i didnt have any pockets so i just held it, then i lost it, i wish i hadnt because i think it was for me to keep so it would protect me, but im just so glad i recieved it and i dont mind its gone. i thanked the angels. also i wonder if anyones been somewhere and remembered a dream theyd had in exactly the same place, even though youve never been there before, i had that in my friends dads kitchen when being there for the first time, i remembered sitting on the kitchen bench and then the garden was so dejavou, then i had the same with his girlfriends upstairs, this is the only 2 times this has happened to me and i think its strange that the houses are connected. thanks for reading, love ryokie xxx

ello there. im 14 and about 5 months or so ago i was taking a nap in my mums bed and id been listening to the radio beforehand. i woke up and the light was off but the lamp was on, giving the room an orangey-red glow. i felt soooooo heavy and wanted to get up so i slid off the bed onto the floor and laughing at myself, i dragged myself with my forearms to the door, i layed there for ages staring out onto the landing wondering why it was so quiet, i was really nackered but eventually i stood up and turned around to face the room, i looked around and when my eyes met the computer chair, there was a very young girl sitting on it, she was brown and white like an old picture and she smiled and waved. i was just like "wow... the first time ive seen a ghost" so i waved back but suddenly i found myself paralyzed and i rose into the air. i couldnt talk or move and i thought "what is she going to do to me" thinking she was like a demon but i caught glimpse of someone in the bed as i floated above them, then i felt myself wake up for real and i was stunned..... its like whhhoooaaaa but i quickly fell back to sleep and amazingly i woke up lying in the bed again and the room was glowing with the lamp again and infront of me this really tall man with a red shirt on was just standing there with his back turned to me, i thought it must be my dad (i hoped) and i tried to say hello but i just seemed to hiss from my throat and i couldnt move again, so i just watched, and he just stood there for a looong time eventually i fell back to sleep.

now, since then i have read up on this and when astral travelling it is meant to be quite rare to encounter anyone else, and if you do they are most likely to be lower plane undesirables (bad people who are confused asto whether they are dead or not and often just stand there confused for aaaaaages) like, i presume, the ones i met. im not sure why i saw two in one night on my first astral travel but if i do it again i really dont want to see them again, coz they scared the .... out of me. i dunno why, but that guy just standing there was terrifying, he didnt move, his head was down and he ha dsuch an evil presence. anyway, i'm reaaaally interested in hearing about any spirits youve encountered and whether they freaked you out.

2. how long does it usually take to feel the vibrations?

3. howcome when ive obe'd before i didnt rise to the ceiling until i went back into my body, instead i just woke up lying in bed and rolled out of bed purposely? is it unusual?

4. when i try to obe, part of me doesnt want to go because its scared of the lower astral plane ghostlies, is this fear stopping me from going?

5. if i meet up with a ghostly, should i try and think myself away from it? or think it away, or scream, or run, or hit it?

i know my queries are quite silly but i think i need to be sure of what im doing before this will work. thanx ppl

theres a couple of things im puzzled about:

1. how would one know the difference between astral travel and lucid dream? do you only levitate above your body and/or see it if you're projecting?

2. what is real time zone? is it projecting on the earth plane?

3. everytime i try to AP i realise that i cant keep my eyes closed and relaxed at the same time, my mums taken pics of me asleep and i seem to sleep with my eyes half open, i get all relaxed and then realise im staring at something and its really distracting, i even tried those eye masks but i still see through the bottom as thats where my eyes open... its really stressful. WHAT CAN I DOOOOO?

i think the wings may suggest that you were an angel ina nother life, or will be when you die, if you go there again try telling them you are looking for the hall of learning as you have been sent there by your mentour, they may just be helpful then, and u cud learn everything there is to know if u get there

this usually happens if you are deep in astral travel and something in reality wakes you up, its such a shock to the system to be jerked so quickly back into the physical body without consciously wanting to return that it can take a long time to gather yourself and fit your mind properly back into your head. i used to get it like 5 times a night, i'd wake up so quick and shoot upright like whaaaaaaaaaa
