i like this site, but no offense,....some of the features could be drastically improved. 3 times now iv gone away for a little bit over a week and come back to see that my name is "inactive".....what does that mean anyways? more importantly...why does it even exist? i just spent 45 minutes trying to log into my account when all i should have had to do was type my name and password...the only reason im saying anything about it is because iv had this happen to me multiple times on your forum,,,,and iv had to create new names.

i had a dream about a year ago where there was a blue motorcycle that crashed in my neighborhood. It was a blue motorcycle and it wrecked near my culdesac. The next day i was walking outside a little ways up from the culdesac and i came upon a 4 wheeler accident. Interestingly enough the 4 wheeler was blue.  I couldnt help but think back to my dream the previous night even though in the dream i was dealing with a motorcycle and the location of the accident was a little differant (off by only a few yards). has anyone else had similar dreams that involve psi type phenomena?

there is a very serious book out right now by a computer scientist who believes the world is some kind of giant computer system. He actually proved his point by writing a program that generated complex patterns. Here is the gist of what he did....

each pixel in his program was given a set of basic rules that effected the surrounding pixels. when he ran this program at first a bunch of bovine excrement happened, however after waiting a few minutes he noticed something, complex patterns started emerging. he ended up writing a program that created a tree with leaves using just this concept.

How does this effect our universe? well he believes that space is in fact composed of infinite pixel like things. each pixel that is switched to an on state is experianced as an atom, and the offs are not experianced at all and seem to be space. and well complexity arises in this universe much like in his program. thats the gist....i will try to find a link.  i actually think the matrix films were somewhat based on his research.

there are 3 dimensions to the physical universe, x, y and z. some will claim that time is the 4th dimension but no one can agree on this.

alpha you were pretty much right. a dream is a dream.....whether or not a regular dream can have precognitive elements is what i myself am curious about. Im actually researching dream precognition right now but what im really interested in is lucid dream precognition. Personally i dont think precognition works in any practical enough way to put it to use.

it doesnt say anything about the mediums. all we hear is that there were "5 mediums". Also i hear the name richard wiseman and i cant help but laugh. wiseman is a great example of bad science.
