Welcome to Dreams! / a question
August 05, 2005, 23:04:31
wow, gee that helps out. thanks. i will try that. i will think about what to do reality checks for. maybe getting out of bed, i usually bolt upright whenever i get out of bed, cuz of alarm so that should be easy.

yeah, that seems to happen to me a lot, never thought anything of it though. for me i guess its when my eyes are closed. i can see all of these colors like flying by, and i can form them into shapes, but i think for me that is, its just light coming in from my eyelids, that i can imagine as different shapes and colors. so far the only psychically related thing i can do is have the occasional prophetic dream, maybe some esp from time to time, and that's about it. but more or less everyone has those, so... yeah w/e.

Welcome to Dreams! / a question
August 04, 2005, 19:41:07
now i have been lucid a couple of times, but not for very long. and i think i may have an answer to that. a lot of my dreams tend to be very real, like i wake up and go through my day, and then i really wake up and go through the etc... i rarely have any fantastic dreams, and the ones that i do i have been lucid in. in these i kinda go " ok this happened in a book i read so its not real, i'm dreaming" . so i guess my question is is it harder to have lucid dreams, when the dreams are more realistic, or am i just one crazy fool!

Welcome to Dreams! / is this possible?
August 04, 2005, 19:11:35
well i can get the lucid dreaming, or lack there of to control it, but what this was originally about was the clashing of all of these dreams. but whenever i went lucid i always had perfect control, well not when i was first starting out, and i never had it for very long, just enough to stop, look around a bit, and then either start to have another dream, or wake up. i always tend to wake up at the best parts of my dreams.

Welcome to Dreams! / is this possible?
August 03, 2005, 16:02:19
so last night i was having a incredibly weird dream. it started out like a dream i have had before, where i was in a house, someone Else's not mine, and apparently i was homeless and was looking for a place to crash. i went through someones closet, pulled out some stuff and then this is where it got really weird. suddenly i was in another dream i have had before, where i am in the woods, running towards a cabin where my father was being held prisoner by some crazy old man, i got to the door, and then again i was in another dream, one where someone in a much larger version of my cousins house was chasing me and wanted to kill me. i went around for help, ask My dad, and then he was killed, and then i went into another dream again. now i have only been lucid a couple of times before, but i noticed that i was becoming more aware, but i couldn't truly control what was going on, i could think, but nothing would happen. the dream i was in this time was one i had ages ago. i was following a girl down the hallway of a school, and she kept on going faster and faster, and i couldn't keep up, and then again i was in the woods looking for my father, and then i was back at the dream where the person is trying to kill me. i called the police but they couldn't come in time, so i ran away from him, then i was back into the dream where i am homeless, looking through the closet and the guy who was trying to kill me in the other dream starts to come after me, and then i start to fight him, and as i start, i am into the dream where i am looking for my father, and i fighting the old guy, while my dad is bleeding on the snow, then i go back to the dream where the guy is trying to kill me. i eventually subdue him, and then i wake up.

sorry if that was long but it freaked me out, and i don't even know what to call these, maybe multiple dream scenarios or whatever. the weird part is that i knew i was dreaming, but i couldn't do anything, i was like someone else was controlling me. or maybe that was part of the dream in itself.

does anyone have any explanation for the weird dream, or why i couldn't go fully lucid.

well i again return to the forums after a long break. and i have had some dreams that have made me question some things. so lets start out with a dream i had a few days ago.
i work at a camp, and the other staff people were discussing what we wanted for a staff lunch. and so i asked my boss if she had ever gone to a particular restaurant, she said yes and then we talked on and on about how good it was, and she said that she went on opening day.
fast forward a day and we are having that discussion, and then my dream pops in my head, and i ask her about the restaurant, and she says almost the exact same thing.

now to another dream i had:
on Thursday, when i was sleeping, my dad walked in, and was talking to me about an errand he had to do, so as i am waking up from my dream i ask him when will he get home. he says that hes not going anywhere, and that he was just waking me up.
so then today(Friday) when he was waking me up he was talking about an errand he had to run, and i asked him when he was coming home.

now it was only until around 9:00 that i realized that i had dreamed about it before.

as my subject name implies i don't know what these are. i have never really had any major precognitive abilities, well i can usually guess who is calling on the phone, or i can sometimes say things that my friends were about to say, but i just rub those off as good luck and knowing how my friends work.

any insight would be appreciated.

Welcome to Dreams! / why is this happening
March 21, 2005, 20:59:46
ok so to start it off this isn't a bad post, its jsut really anooying.

So ever since the 7th grade(i am in 10th now) i have had this dream every so often, and it hasn't changed much over the years.

its starts out that i am at a school, and this school has my friends that i had in middle school and such so i am at school and i have to like do this party thing, i don't know why i jsut have to organize a party or w/e, and its like there is this room with no gravity, but u have to turn it on by doing a dance, like a twister or a ddr kinda thing. so in this dream there is also like this entity, monster, albeit its more like a barney kinda monster but still. its talking everyone and then after the party thing i have to find it, and it seems to be stalking one girl in particular, and to this day i don't know who it is, but whenever she turns around i can't see her face she yells at em and runs away thinking that i am the one stalking her. i chase after her and just when i am about to turn her around... i wake up, this happens everytime this dream occurs, cuz its always when my alarm goes off. this is getting anooying and no matter how hard i try i can't seem to find otu who it is. shes blonde and average size but i just don't know many blondes, wel a few but different colr blonde, shes kinda like a dark dirty blonde/brown hair, well its like u kinda have to see her tro understand. any tips on how to complete my dream, or mayebg go lucid in it and do my own thing.

which brings up another point, try as i might i have never had a lucid dream, can anyone give me tips on how.

Welcome to Magic! / yeah and
January 16, 2005, 12:29:37
i was not raised in a catholic house, i am atheist, and could care less what people who let some misguided idea govern what they think, think about magic, i just hear it from people, and draw my own colclusions, but what u said about magic being the ability to change the world put it in perspective.

yeah sorry, but jsut from what i haev heard that people can get hurt easily. and to reply to clandestino, i said psi balls etc..., which includes controlling the forces of the mind, and psi balls and real, so don jsut say that its a dbz thing that ppl try to do, db is the worst anime anyways so who cares. but still i know i shouldn't have wrote this, i know nothign about this, but it jsut seems to me to be bad. adn i am all for contacting the dead, i think ti would eb fun, but it would probably scare the excrement outta me, but it would be nice to talk to my mom, well u never know.

Welcome to Magic! / hello
December 28, 2004, 16:55:10
well  i could be considered to some a noob, newbm however u want to spell it. i stick with the whole psi balls, etc.. gang. but from what i know of magic, it shouldn't be messed around with, as with contacting the undead, because you may stir up something that you don't want, or can't handle, there are forces at work that i am sure the most learned of magcians don't know about, so i am jsut here to say be careful, don't get hurt with trying some new thing that you think will make u special, also jsut saying hello, like in the title of my topic!

October 19, 2004, 14:57:36
most of the time when i have a dream that i die in, i wake right after it, and i started this topic lee volont. I had a dream similari to lotuslegs, i jsut saw the lord of the rings, and i dreamt of a epilogue to it, when arwen and aragorn had a child, iwas that child, and sauron came back from the dead, and i was him, like not in third person, and i was fighting alongside my father, aragorn, and then he dove in front of me to take an arrow for me, i cried and the ni stood up and ran towrds to army, i was slaughtered, but it kinda felt good, like i was avenging my dad, and that i died well, well i think that all of you responses have answered my question, and you guys were very welcoming for a newbi on the forums.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dieing in dreams

i didn't understand that either. I have dreamnt for wat it feels like  as long as i have been asleep, and some dreams i can't even remember in 30 seconds, so that theory is thrown out of the window, maybe if you had such a terrible dream tha you had a geart attack from it, or slept walked donw a fligth of stairs my friends older sister was sleep walking one night and she dorve all the way down to the seven eleven, and bought a breakfast burrito there, and then she woke haveing no idea how she got there LOL, i think that is quite funny.

I was recently reading an article on psipog.com, about OBE, and it said something about a vibration you feel before you do it, he called it the sew saw vibration i think, and it reminded me of many times when i am drifting off to sleep, and i feel a little dizzy, and a tad uncomfortable. i am just now getting into this whole other world for me, bending everything i used to believe in to be false. I was just wondering if my dizziness thing is a step towards OBE, and if i should run with it the next time it happens, or if it is something that happens naturally during sleep.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dieing in dreams
October 16, 2004, 16:22:00
well thanks. I guess i am not the only one who has death dreams, andm y dream ends as soon as i die aswell. Maybe i die in dreams because i think about death a lot in the waking world. I have had some dramatic experiences in my life and it has changed me forever, so now i am almsot always depressed, but i live with it.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dieing in dreams
October 16, 2004, 15:02:21
My friend told me that if u die in a dream, you die in real life. No some dreasm that i can remember i know i have died in, and woken up screaming and being really sweaty, a nightmare i guess. I have told my friend this and she thinks that i am lieing, or that i willed myself out of a dream right before i died, and jsut imagiined that i did die. But i am not so certain. So i am here to ask that if you die in a dream, do you actauly die, or am i right and my friend is wrong.

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
October 15, 2004, 20:29:11
I think i had a lucid dream a few nights ago, but i am not sure. I was singing in front of a lot of people, and in real life that is something i would never do, and i think that as soon as that thought comes across my mind i stop singing, forget the words, and start to blush and feel very uncomfortable, which is what would happen to me in real life, and after that i don't remember anything. My friend recommended me to this site to help me get some answers.
