Thanks for the feedback.

I came across this energy center as I was reading on a different topic; it could be the same as the one Orloff was describing.

Ming-Men (Kidney Point, Door of Life) - Pre-natal energy storage safety point.

It is a location along the Microcosmic Orbit meditation on the Governing Channel.

Author Mantak Chia writes:
Quote"This center supports the kidneys, which not only purify the blood but also store sexual and energetic essences and stimulate the body's chi when it is low. It is called the Door of Life (Ming Men) because it is the center of Prenatal Chi or innate life-force. This center also serves as the "negative" or yin chi pole, in relation to the Heart center, which constitutes the "positive" or yang chi pole. These two centres regulate the flow of chi in the body."

Maybe that is were the negative energy goes as it is dissipated by the heart's healing and direction, sending away the "toxins" which don't contribute to harmony and the heart's purpose. Kind of like good food material extracted from the bulk of material and the resulting toxins/waste.

In the book 'Positive Energy' by Judith Orloff there is mentioned a function at the lower vertebra which clears energy/psychic toxins from the system. Supposedly there are spaces (or pores) energetically  or otherwise that release the toxins in this area.

I think she suggested that focusing on the area/process would aid it or perhaps it is dormant unless awakened.

Has anyone had any experience of this or is it related to an energy body system ( TCM meridians, yoga, chakras etc.)?
