I posted this in another part of the forum, but I think this is more appropriate for it.
Okay, I've looked up how to do Astral Projection at a few places, and most have different methods, but they all describe the step that I'm stuck on. The "Tingly" feeling right before you separate. I can't seem to get past it. Here's what I do tell me if I'm doing something wrong:
1. Clear my thoughts and meditate my body into relaxation for about 10 minutes.
2. Then I breath in and out slowly and try to "Get my 'soul's' wave lengths in sync with that of the universe"
3. I then imagine two magnetic forces. One above me which is the opposite (pulling) and one below me the same (pushing).
4. Then I ask my body to let go of me and that's when I get the tingly feeling. I keep on trying to push myself out of my body and my breath rate increases and I have a little bit of trouble of breathing.
I can keep this feeling for about 5 minutes, but sometimes my mind wonders and I start concentrating on my breathing and I lose it. It'll also just fade away before anything happens if I'm able to keep my mind on getting out.
What are some tips on how to finish getting out, if you actually can. If you can't does anyone know of a good website that describes my problem with it?
Thanks.
