It wasn't like I was lying in bed picturing I was watching tv. I was actually watching a video on my computer. And when I bent down in my chair to pick up something, it's like my mind stayed where it was and my body kept going down and I was looking at the back of my head. It was really weird. I was kind of absorbed in the video when I did this, and I was like "What just happened? This shouldn't be in the video." I tracked back through the video and couldn't find what I saw. It was weird. There was absolutely no cloudyness to it. It was very vivid.

Thanks anyway for the replies.

This was just completely out of nowhere. I was watching a movie on my computer. I was sitting in my chair, and I leaned down to pick something off the floor. I looked up at the screen. And you know how it is when you're absorbed in a movie, all you can see is the movie, you don't really see anything else. It was like that. Except in the movie, i thought they turned the camera around to look at the director and stuff, except it was looking at the back of someones head. And it was extremely vivid. There was nothing cloudy about this. Than in an instant it was back to normal movie. I was confused about this, so I scrolled back in the movie, and there was nothing that changed. Nothing of looking at the back of someones head. I'm not sure what to think of it. It could be the back of my own head. Any thoughts?

Welcome to Dreams! / No Dreams

Hey, I've been working on this, and I'm starting to remember dreams. Not long bits of the dream, but it seems to be improving I've even wrote down some dreams. Thanks Everyone. Going to keep at it.

Hey Tom, thanks for the great incite.

Okay, thanks for the reply. With all the OBE stuff, I thought maybe these vibrations were just consciousness noticing that it leave.

I was just curious. When I'm relaxing and focusing on my breathing, I start vibrating. I was just curious about why I vibrate. Is it because my consciousness is realizing that the body is just vibrating energy? I was just curious.

Surprisingly I just saw the first part of "The Elegant Universe". Very interesting stuff.  I'll try to get around to watching the other two.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / These vibes?
December 23, 2004, 19:37:01
I  get vibrations from mainly breathing deeply. They come in a matter of minutes. I'm reading a book on meditation, and was doing a technique to help make breathing deeper and longer in between. It was the "In" and "out" method if you're curious. In a matter of minutes of doing it my face is vibrating and the book doesn't talk about it lol.

I have a question about vibrations. All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. When we start feeling these vibrations, are we just starting to experience the fact that we are just vibrating energy?

Do you mean, like when your body starts to vibrate all over, you're getting close to being able to attempt an OBE? I've had vibrations, but not all over. Just in my face and fingers.

Welcome to Book Reviews! / Meditation and Dreamwork

Hey, I actually have this book. I never read it though. I think my mother bought it years ago to read it, and I some how ended up having it. I'm going to read it, and try some of the techniques. Since I'm completely new to all this, hopefully I'll have a lot of success.

Thanks for the review.

Actually I did have a dream last night. I just remembered it later. Can't remember it all, but I remember I was looking into a mirror at one part of it.

All right, I'll give these ideas a try. Just got out of bed. Can't remember what I dreamed. It was a complete blank.

I don't know if I can't remember them, or if I just draw a blank all night. I rarely ever remember a dream(if I had a dream). Is there a way to help remember, or dream? I just draw a blank for weeks on end. I'll have one now and then, but usually the night is a blank.

Any Thoughts?

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / breathing
December 15, 2004, 23:25:29
I meant something else besides breathing. I kinda concentrate too hard on something other technique and completely stop breathing. I do it in real life. For some reason when I'm doing an impression of someone. And I do it really good, I won't even blink.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / breathing

The thing is I'm like clearing my mind. But if I was to concentrate on something. Like a technique, my breathing goes bad. I'll tend to hold my breath and eventually gasp for air. I guess I just have to keep practicing.

Hi, I'm new, so bare with me if this is in the wrong place.
I don't know much yet, but I'm learning. I tried last night for the first time in a long time, just taking in deep breaths in the nose and out the mouth, slowly. It was pretty good for clearing my head of thoughts. I just was thinking "in nose, out mouth". After a little bit, my face started to get tingling sensation. Just starting with my lips than spreading over my whole face. Then I started to feel like vibrations in my face. The tingling spread to my upper chest and back of my neck. Than my tips of my fingers started to tingle, so I stopped. I'm not sure what this tingling sensation is or what the vibrations are. Is this some sort of energy?

Hi, I guess I could start how I found the place and why I'm here.

Actually since I've been diving into the meaning behind tool songs, I have been searching and learning about chakras and energy and such. Kinda surfed on this place from a brainwave site. I would like to eventually achieve an understanding of my mind and body and the way it's connected to the universe. Hope to experience an OBE with my pursuit of understand my mind.

I'll try to keep the obvious questions to a minimum and keep my reading of old threads to a maximum.
