I had a dream about a huge tidal wave two nights before the tsunami...the thing is...I had no idea what it was relating to (if anything) and even if I DID know, what could I have done to stop it? Even if a lof of people predicted it, I doubt anyone would have listened.

Its all about balance. Too much of anything would not be good.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / 11:11..Now I see 9:11
January 09, 2005, 16:25:19
I went through a period about three or four years ago, (right before my first big evolutionary leap) where I saw 11:11 constantly..I obviously saw it whenever it was 11:11 on the clock, but I also saw it in lots of other places..newspapers, magazines, things would ring up 11 dollars and 11 cents at the grocery store...it really started driving me mad in a way.. But I KNEW it meant something..hard to explain but every time I would see it I felt that the moment meant something I couldnt quite explain...back then I had no idea this was an actual "something" that happened to others as well.

Recently I started seeing 11:11 again a lot. WHich makes sense, because I have been going through more leaps lately..my energy level is charging up big time and Ive been having a lot of dreams/visions/channelings again. This definately means something..its amazing! Especially when I happened to find an explanation on the internet one day and was like like "Wooah!"

I dont really feel the need to prove anything to anyone, because the people I like to surround myself with are already aware of this stuff.

Quote from: tro-flowSmoking weed is nice to learn from, but one should not live from it. I have had the same problems. I had a hard time staying on the ground and being relaxed in situation. Remember, weed is like a tool, but eventually you must do the things it does yourself.
It is either smoke and float or non smoke and stay steady. If you would be firmly grounded, you would notice the effects of weed less.
I have some nice grounding methods, but I suggest using them when you have quit smokin, or they won't have effect. Because any energetic progress u make, smoking weed will throw it away again.

To be firmly ground can be done be litteraly standing firmly. Traing your legs will help you ground easier. But what actually is the function of grounding is relaxation. So for a stronger root, you must learn to be at ease at all time. Relax in moment of tension, breath naturally, and probably the most important thing is to have a positive outlook. Enjoy being able to relax where others tens up, take a cold shower and try to enjoy, you will see that it's not that hard to litterally stand stronger.

Everyone is different..I honestly feel more grounded when I smoke some amount of weed (say, within a weeks time) than when I dont..I dont do it too much because it messes with my memory and leaves my blood feeling "sludgy". But as far as grounding..the grounding excercizes I have done so far have definately had an effect, weed or no weed.

I know what you mean about relaxing through times of tension. Forgetting to breathe is one of my bigger problems (sounds dumb, who forgets to breathe? lol)..Ive been trying to learn to be mindful of my body more.

Quote from: TyciolYou can learn a lot of things by dealing and interacting with difficult people, instead of running from them. You can learn compassion, negotiation, or (if need be) destruction and draining of your own.

You can't gain these if you run to a happy place any time someone you dislike comes along.

Sorry I guess I see things differently. I feel I am an adult and can choose who I want to be in my presence. Those who are not worthwhile are simply not going to be around me unless they are meant to be (the times where you cant cut them out). I feel God puts me where I am supposed to be in each moment, and leads me into plenty of situations where I can learn those lessons you speak of.

Quote from: TyciolDrained? I hope you mean just from dealing with them, not that they're actually sapping it psychically.

You need to learn to DEAL with people, not cut them out. You must become stronger than them. Running is not something to do forever, it is only temporary, it should never be a philosophy.

Cutting them out IS dealing with them? I mean..WHY would you possibly want someone in your life who does nothing but take from you? Why would you want ANYTHING in your life that doesnt have to be there, that doesnt benefit you in some way? Now, we most definately HAVE to deal with things in life, obviously. Of course there are certain hard to deal with people that because of work, or family or whatever you cant cut them out. But Im just saying, if you can cut someone out of your life who is hurting you, in whatever way, I think you should.

As far as people who bring me down..well..Im almost TOO good about that...in fact I tend to cut people out of my life for hurting me even a little bit. I wont allow anyone around me who upsets the natural balance of my energy by being mean, negative, stressful etc.

EOLOO7, I have heard about flower remedies but I really know little about them. Im going to do a google search on them in a bit, because I actually think one of my horoscopes mentioned something about them being beneficial or something.

Rastus, I definately will look into crystal healing. Although I dont really have any money or access to anything that I dont already have. :\ (just got layed off yesterday..damn it)

Right now Im going to go for a jog. Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions they are really helping me! :)

Should the crystals be of any certain type or is it more the mental association to them? I have some beautiful glass crystals..and also some natural quartz ones. I have a lot of smooth river stones as well..which colors/types would be best to carry with me?

I dont think its rare and unusual at all! This is why I started the thread about grounding..the same kinda things happen to me..

Well..I would never quit marijuana. The benefits outweigh the negatives by far! I have been cutting back though..I try to have at least three or four days a week when I dont smoke because I find smoking every night leaves me feeling "foggy" in my head.

The excercize is a great idea. I have a real problem finding and sticking to an excercise routine. I need to look into that for sure. Thanks! Unfortunately I dont live anywhere near the countryside..but the neighborhoods around here are nice.

Some other things that have helped me are focusing intensely on things that only matter in this realm. I.e. money..during times of intense spiritual development things of this world like paying bills tend to seem distant and unimportant. I spent time today organizing my bills and paying some of them off, as well as getting my bank account with enough money in it. Afterwards I felt a lot more "here" than before.

Thanks for the tips? Any other ideas?

Hello.

I am in need of some tips and ideas for good grounding techniques. I have a VERY, VERY hard time staying grounded. I am naturally gifted when it comes to spirit energy and I have an overabundance of it. But I get ungrounded so easily..sometimes to the point of getting physically ill.

I am kinda new to understanding grounding..I was wondering if you guys could help me with some ideas. So far most of the things Ive heard are to go outside and spend time in nature, directly touching mother earth. Ive also been doing some experimenting with standing up and doing deep breathing and kind of sinking my energy down into the ground.

Please help! Like I said my spirituality has always been my natural gift. I really have no clue when it comes to this stuff!

Thank you kindly for your answers in advance.

I smoke marijuana often.
It can be a good spiritual tool..
Just be sure to keep your protection up and
cleanse your energy and charge it for good.
Ive been astrally attacked a few times
while stoned, for me it makes the barrier
between this realm and the astral realm
more malliable, and that can open you up
for attack as well.

Good Luck and Enjoy! Marijuana can
be a wonderful experiance as long as its not
abused. :)

I tried listening to the first boxed nirvana the other night.
It was interesting..definately did something!
I experianced a lot of vibrations, postive energy flowing through me..and I could definately tell which chakras were responding when the vibrations changed. I didnt have any kind of astral projections or anything (I dont have any idea how to "try" to project..all my experiances have been spontaneous and out of my control) but I would definately consider it to be a positive experiance. I also was thinking maybe it had less of an effect because I did not use headphones, I just put it on my stereo as I was going to sleep.

Do you think headphones would produce more of an effect?

Hello! Well when I read this post I definately felt for you. Enough to create an account and post *Im more of a lurker here* ;)

Anyway...Im curious as to the astrological sign of this man...its not an all deciding factor but it would be interesting to know considering how you describe him.

It seems that you have a very strong spiritual connection with this person. As Naiad780 posted, just because you have a soul to soul connection with someone doesnt neccessarily mean you are "soul mates" or somehow meant to be romantically together in this life.

I recently ended a 4 year relationship with a soul mate of mine..he was deeply connected to me and still is, as I am to him. We love and care for each other very deeply, but it still made us both very unhappy to be together. I felt as if I needed to stand alone, so I did. The relief I felt was overwhelming..as if I had been trying to hold something together that was falling apart for so lone, Id forgotten what its like to have my hands free!

And the thing is, since we have broken up, our soul connection has not weakened. NOt in the slightest. Our parting was a part of our story, and as important as the moments we were the most in love.

I sort of hate the term soul mates..it implies that there is one "other half" out there for everybody and thats it. It annoys me. Ive had many different soul mates in my life.

If I were you I would work on a friendship with this guy. It seems perhaps he is scared you are expecting a relationship. Talk to him..I know you said he ignores you when you try, and if he is not willing to talk, then so be it I say. I have had MANY experiances with someone where everthing is happening for some higher reason and I can FEEL it..when things click so crazily..only to have that person leave my life after a short period of time. I dont believe all soul mates are meant to be in our lives..perhaps just meeting this man has changed something on your path, something important.

Good Luck, and remember to watch out, things are often not as they seem.
