Thanks kmD and Tippycat for sharing your experiences. I would like to do something similar with my grandpa. I was think of a family reunion/picnic at a nice camping site. I think that's where I'd find him anyway.  :)

Let's just assume for now that the astral is real and it is occupied by guides that want to interact with us on the living plane. If you communicate with one why trust them? Why assume that just because you are really in contact with a being from the astral realm that they have any of our best interests in mind? Even if you are receiving some verifiable information how far do you trust them with the rest?

At work running a PC with Win 98 and IE6 every thing looks fine. I can change the size of the IE browser window and everything will fit and resize it's self. But on my iMac at home the AP site is to big to fit in the window. I have to increase my resolution and stretch the window just to see the whole page. It does not give me any scroll bars to move either.

Help please? Thanks!

Make sure the file has .JPG or .GIF I ran into this problem too until I realized the file I was trying to upload was .JPEG Many web sites and avatar sites used that extension but it doesn't work here. Just change it to .JPG and it will upload. HTH

What got me interested in OBEs was reading about NDEs. I thought they must be similar. Richard Bach was also an influence. My opinion falls on the side of they are both hallucinations and dreams.

Just so you know, there are a lot of Christians (like myself) who don't believe the things you wrote, ie:
I don't believe clearing my mind is evil and I definetly am not any less kind, or don't try to be any less kind, that non-Christians.

There are, in fact, Christian mystics, etc.

Anyway, I don't want to get too deep into this, but the bottom line is that you are right to a degree...there are a lot of Christians who are very close minded, but there are also a lot of non-Christians, especially those from the "intellectual" communities who are just as close minded.

By playing into this game of judging and having prejudices, we are no better than these close minded, ignorant people.  The best way to help them is by example and by not judging them.

Thanks for your kind words PW. I know I've struggled with this issue myself. If I'm a Christen I can't believe this or that or do this or that. Or even having bad expierences with Christians so that must mean that Christianity is wrong.

I can stop holding my breath now...I was unsure whether I'd offended the entire forum by probing too much and taking the shine off such mystical and 'divine' knowledge... Hearing that there are other students who recognise the value of the objective process is assuring.

Well if you need feedback then I'll say I appreciate your questioning nature. Keep the posts coming. [^]

I FINALLY figured out what went wrong. I was trying to upload files with a *.JPEG extension. The avatars were from a free site and that is how they saved on my computer. So I changed it to *.JPG and it worked!!!!![:P] My VERY Bad. [:I]

Thanks for your reply, Frank. Would you say then that in any non physical realm that emotions and intensions are so bare and readable that "trust" isn't even an issue?

I'm trying it now. However, the last two nights I've just fallen asleep. I need to trying some other time of day yet. Thanks for making it sticky Adrian. I had it bookmarked so I wouldn't loose it. I've also subscribed to see how others are doing with it. I'll post when I succeed. [:D]

Honestly I don't know. Weird feeling though isn't it. I got the same thing from building a loft in collage that had the beds hanging from ropes. Had enough of walking with sea legs and finally secured the bed with 2x4s. [:)]

I am having the exact same problem Tisha had. I follow the steps but when I select "upload" I get the "The page cannot be found" I'm running XP and IE6 at medium security. The avatars are jpg and are 64 x 64. Maybe it's a firewall or something. I don't know.

I've tried uploading on 2 different computers and always get redirected to this error....

    The page cannot be found

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Thoughts?

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / The Amygdala

I smell a scam. I looked at the site and got article after article of how great "popping the frontal lobe" is but the only hint at activating it is to "imagine a feather tickling the amygdala" Now if that doesn't work then perhaps the book won't either.

Thanks for looking into it, Adrian. I plan on replacing my aging iMac with a PC soon anyway. I've had it with incompatibilities and buying software online.

I've had VPC setup on my iMac once, but not currently. That could be worth a try. Thanks.

I'd appreciate any feedback from Mac users. Thanks.
