Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Hello again

Hello Omega :) My guides are called Omega. Nice of them to say hello through you. I'm also an old user and I'm also back. Wow, just look at the synchronicities! ;) And yes I guess Xanth has got it! But if you are interested, here is my latest find:

Hello lovely you :) Welcome.
#3
I have never seen myself. I think it's cause I'm still a bit scared of doing that so I just don't see my body. I either am so excited to be out that I don't bother looking, or I just see an empty bed - which is why in the past I thought I'm not really projecting but just walking around strangely and got annoyed and lay back down, lol.
#4
Well, I think it was because my legs were stuck. Which is what usually happens to me. And I gathered after, that by the time you pull your legs up, you are pretty much out anyway, cause you are "sitting on yourself".

Thanks for replying :)

For stopping the inner chatter, I suggest you read the book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

Hello all. If any of you are like me, I have often found myself half in and half out of my body not being able to fully project because I'm stuck. Well, last night, my higher self shared this technique with me and it worked wonders so I'd like to pass it on in case it helps others too.

Once your astral arms are out, pull up both your knees to your chest, wrap your arms around your legs and lock your hands, firmly. Then roll over to the side. You are out.

:)

apparently its the beginning of developing clairaudience. it happens to me too. the word it said doesnt necessarily refer to you, it could refer to itself, or anything else. next time, try asking them who they are ;)

I just finished reading this thread. thank you Covelo for all your time and effort for sharing this with us, and typing out all those loooong channelings! :D it hasnt gone unappreciated. Very interesting info there, please thank the Eloheim and Veronica from us too for working with us when you speak to them next.

Welcome to Dreams! / What to do when lucid?
December 09, 2006, 08:56:46
Hi all,

Ive been meaning to ask this for some time now. What things can we do when we become lucid? Is there a way we can do anything meaningful? eg, speak to spirit guides, access past lives, have obes, etc, or get access to information we wouldnt during waking life.

Flying and sticking my hands/head through walls can be fun, but it doesnt seem like a meaningful experience in the sense that i have a feeling i could be getting so much more out of these states of being.

Do you have any suggestions what to do when lucid?

Thanks.

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Who are you in dreams?
December 08, 2006, 16:17:19
ive had dreams where im a male, and i think occasionally ive looked diffrent but i didnt think much of it at the time, more like, thats weird, oh well...

i rarely dream in my everyday environments but the people in my dreams are often people i know in real life, or just unkown props people who dont really have much purpose except to fill the scene.. ive had the viewer thing happen, where i am watching and starring in the dream at the same time, i think usually its like that actually, both at once.

there is no need to worry, as your subconscious has the info stored. it will be working on it behind the scenes so to speak. you may or may not recall it one day, however whatever changes this info will bring about in you will occur regardless of this.

Nymphette,

My advice is to take it one step at a time. I know from experience that doing too much at once could confuse you and stagnate your development because it can be too much to take in. You are better off developing one thing at a time, get comfy with it, and move on to the next. The rest will follow by itself. You will know what to do next and when you are ready. Just start anywhere really, whatever intrests you the most. You will feel when you need to learn something about something else to move on etc. And have fun doing it, trying too hard can cause stagnation simply because we are then working from ego.

ok i am going to be annoying here and post yet another of those 'was it an obe' threads.

this one is a bit different though, as it happened in a dream within a dream

to make it short and simple, i was dreaming that i went to sleep and so i had another dream within a dream. in this second dream, i realized i was dreaming and i remembered that i wanted to try have an obe next time i have a lucid dream. so i commanded to be in the astral, and i found myself in my bedroom in what i think was my first and original dream, having an obe.

i remember i moved an object on my bedside table to leave as evidence, but when i woke up it obviously was where it always is. - can you even move stuff in the astral, that affects the real world?

i clearly felt the separation from my body, but since it was in a dream within a dream i am a bit confused wether i actually dreamt it or if it really happened.

so what do you think? part of me just thinks if i believe it was one, it was one and if i dont it wasnt. but surely it cant be that simple.. or?

I am doing a design project about environmental issues. In a nutshell, the aim is to take something that is harmful to the environment, and promote a solution to the problem. I would very much appreciate if you could take the time to answer my questions, as this would be part of my primary research.

I've decided to focus on the issue of how we dispose of our dead. The two most popular ways of doing this are burial and cremation. Due to global warming, floods and cataclysms are likely to increase dramatically, which will reduce the amount of land we have to inhabit. Cemeteries take up vast amounts of space, and we will definitely need that space if the weather keeps on going at this rate. Cremation is also a threat to the environment, due to the greenhouse gases (nitrous oxide) that are released when burning the bodies, as well as the harmful gases produced when burning the coffins.

My proposal for solving the problem would be deatomization.

Deatomization would be the process of breaking down atoms to their simplest form, which is (according to superstring theory) pure vibrating energy. By doing this, there would be no bi-products produced that would be harmful to the environment. The possibility even exists, to take this energy and use it as a source for electricity, etc.

The ceremonial aspect of the "funeral" would still be available, and people would be allowed to be present during the process, much like at a cremation. The only difference would be that instead of being buried or cremated, the person would be deatomized. Since people will want to have a place to visit, or have something to remind them of their loved ones, one could "capture" some of the energy released and seal it in a small glass bottle. It would be similar to the idea of keeping the person's ashes, and it would hold sentimental value.

Although the idea of deatomization is possible in theory, I realize that it will take quite a few years until we have the technology and the vast amounts of energy needed to do this. But let's disregard that fact for a moment, and pretend that it is available today.

- Would you use it?

- If not, why not?

- If you are religious, and your religion does not permit cremation, would it allow deatomization?

- If not, why not? I would appreciate if you could try to explain in more detail why your religion would not permit this, and if there would be ways around this.

- Let's say that cremation and burial would be banned, and only deatomization permitted. What problems / consequences can you see arising from this?

- How many years from now do you think we'll have the technology to do this?

Thank you to all who participated, its much appreciated!

i dont think thats something you should be doing, whether its possible or not.

i just watched the elegant universe too and there are some things that i would like to hear your ideas about. first of all the whole membrane thing just sounds way to far fetched to me, and they are  assuming that if they collided there would be a "big bang". they dont know how they would react if they collided, if they even exist, maybe they would just melt together? maybe there was no big bang, maybe the universe has always been there because on that level, past present and future are all happening at once. so maybe there is no beginning. and i also thought about all these 11 dimensions, perhaps they are the focus levels that we tune into when we AP? what do you guys think of this?

i do think its possible and i have a few experiences like that myself. one of them was when i was still in school and i wasnt doing well in german. i simply told myself im going to be the best in my class, and i did indeed become the best in my class. i felt enormous energy as i declared this to myself. i also had an experience concerning manifestation in the astral when i had a lucid dream. this is taken from my "diary" of experiences of this kind, i wrote this when i woke up:

on the astral plane things manifest instantly. i know this from experience through lucid dreams. on the physical plane they take longer to manifest. maybe thats why we have the illusion of time.

astral plane, instant manifestation, you create your reality. all what you see is your creation.
"as in heaven, so be it on earth"

----------------

also, based on another lucid dream:

your reality are your thoughts. if you think you can, you can, if you think you cannot, you cannot.

(flying dream, when in doubt, i went towards the ground, bumpy ride. but when confident in my flying, i just pictured it and it happened as i pictured it)

----------------

i think things work similarly on the physical plane, just that things take longer to manifest due to the physicalness and density of it all.

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / Time...

time is just a measurment people made up to make life easier. example: a meter doesnt really exist, its just a measurment people agreed on and called it a meter to make life easier. same with time. time is a tool, for convenience sake. NOW is all that really exists.

mthorn25 i did not experience any vibrations though, i just lifted my arms up, and i felt me leaving my body and reentering it. also, has anyone else experienced tha plasma like looking astral arms?
#21
it happened again. i was sleeping next to my boyfriend when i "realised" i was paralysed and couldnt move. i lifted my left arm and again i saw the plasma like hand like last time. i tried lifing my other arm too but it looked like it was my real arm so i think i had one astral arm and one real arm waving around. i touched my bfs tummy and i asked him if he felt it this morning but he said no, but then again he was asleep when i did it. i remember sitting up, and i tried to turn around to look if my body was there but i couldnt turn fully, maybe i didnt want to see, it kinda freaks me out. the thing that makes me wonder though is that although the surroundings were accurate, there were details such as the colour of my bfs top, and the fact that i saw my rings on my fingers on my astral hand, although i wasnt wearing any (and why would they be on my astral hand anyway). so was it a dream this time or is it possible for obes and dreams to mix and produce semi accurate expereinces? im not sure what to think about all this.

me and my dad had the same dream one night, we both dreamt that we were on a train, with different outcomes to the story though. dad dreamt that my sister went on to the tracks or something and he told me to go get her and i dreamt that dad hat to leave and go to war or something like that i cant remember completely cause it was years ago but it was pretty freaky. i didnt think it was more than a dream though, but im intrested to hear what others have to say about shared dreams.

i havent, but i know frank has. sounds like it could have been focus 3. next time ask her name and what she did and where she lived and you can google it when u get back to your body.
#24
i woke up at around 9.30, went to pee, went back to sleep. started doing deep breathing and fell asleep eventually. next thing i remember is lifting my hands up in front of me and i could see them although they were see through plasma like. had the same contours as my real arms and hands though. remember touching my arms to see if i had sensation and i did. tried getting out of my body, dont really remember how, maybe rope method, remember trying to roll out too, not sure about the chronology. but i recall the feeling when i separated, and i thought to myself wow this time its for real. this followed by a few  moments of confusion where i couldnt see properly, it was like when u look cross eyed at things, and i dunno if this was because i couldnt really keep my real eyes open or what, but it was difficult to get orientated, i thought i was somewhere but i was somewhere else (in my room). i didnt see anything at all at times, it was as if my eyes were closed. i felt like i was floating around randomly in the room, and once when i "opened" my eyes i saw my room as if i was up in the top right corner in some odd upsidedown sideways position. im not sure when but i know i went back into my body, remembering that one should keep their first time short. i could feel it when i went back into my body. then i came out again and i decided to try to go through walls or fly, and to see what my roomate was doing to find some evidence, i was kinda excited at this point, but things became more like a dream and i thought i dreamt this part when i woke up, but i went into the bathroom and my friend was taking a shower, and i watched her for a while. it looked like she looked straight at me a few times so i got scared and went back. she had taken a shower the night before so i found it odd that she showered again this morning, so i wrote it off as a dream, but this morning she told me she had indeed taken a shower.. so i dunno what to think, imean it could just be a coincidence. i doubt i heard her though and made it all up cause i slept with earplugs. so what do you think, obe or just a vivid dream?

logic, titanium is the preferred metal for piercings because some people have allergic reactions to SS. so i guess that would be ok then?
