Hello everyone,

Just a short introduction of me

Well my name is Mike, and I am 19. To be honest I had only heard about Astral Projection/O.B.E. for three days or so, but as soon as I heard about it I had become somehow obbsessed with it. Which is obviously not good because when I ever try it I get way too excited... I have already read so many things about it in the last days, from Robert Bruces entire A.P. book (Must be honest though, after a hunder pages I understood hardly anything, and decided that was enough) to tons of posts on here. I have also read up on spirituality and such the last week, and found that to be very interesting (I had never really heard or read about it in depth before) and I can definetly see how the world is way more than what we are used to seeing. Nothing "spectacular" has ever happened to me (besides when I was little and heard people arguing in my house that wern't there, but I don't remember if I really did or if that was imagination so I could climb into my parents bed   So I decided, that if in fact I can Astral Project myself (not that if I can't I don't believe you all!) I could really turn my life around the way it is supposed to be, and get to know the world that hardly anyone has experienced.

Well, for my attempts I must say I don't believe they were very good. The first time was the first night, and I was so anxious/excited that I felt my "body" moving up and realized that it was my physical body. After a while I just gave up. It was like that the last two nights also. I figure it is because I am a person that is definetly more on the go, anxious, and way harder for me to relax and let go than most people. I always have the feeling that I need to be helping someone or doing something, that its obnoxious. Not to mention Uni and blah blah blah. So thats something I really need to learn I think is how to really physically relax... I know it is probably going to take me weeks or maybe months to actually reach a projection or a partial projection even, but I am definetly determined. I do have a few questions however~

1. How long did it take you to have your first astral projection where you were aware that you were having one?

2. I have read and tried tons of relaxation techniques and had more success with some than others, but what seems to be the best one for A.P.?

3. What do you all think of Binural Beats while trying  for an A.P.?

4. Is it true that if you stay out of your physical body long, that you forget that you even left in the first place?

5. What is the most common mistake that beginners can make?
