Welcome to Dreams! / smells and dreams
March 22, 2005, 16:34:52
thanks all for responding, At least I know I am not the only one!  And, like Naiad said, it doesn't happen very often for me either.  I just thought it was so odd that I woke up remembering a scent from a dream!

Welcome to Dreams! / smells and dreams

I was just wondering how many of you have the ability to smell things in dreams.  A few nights ago I remember being able to smell an odor in my dream, and now, in reality, I can't even begin to describe the smell, as I can't think of anything to even compare it to.

Also, my second question, just last night I had like 3 dreams in one!  I was dreaming about sleeping, and while I was sleeping in my dream, I was dreaming about something else!  Did I confuse you all!! After all that I woke up kind of confused-huh, go figure!  Does any body else do this?

Welcome to Dreams! / Giving birth in a dream???
March 18, 2005, 10:30:24
I have had birthing dreams as well, I think Nay gave a pretty good answer,  as this explanation of growing, is one I have heard before.  I don't have these birthing dreams often, and I always feel weird waking up from them.  The dreams are so real, I can feel the baby kicking inside and feel my belly move, but if I do actually give birth, no pain. Very odd to me :)

My dreams tend to be very detailed as well, and like another poster..memories aren't  necessarily memeries either, just  I know it, I don't know how or why I know it I just do!  However, once I realize I am dreaming I can stay with it, make conscience decisions while dreaming and I can wake up and go back to the same dream for a whole night at times.  Doesn't happen all the time, but every once in a while.

Welcome to Members Introductions! / Hi Everyone

Well where to start...I am new, as you probably figured out, and thought this was as good a time to start posting as ever!  Nay introduced me to this site and I am so glad that she did!  I am interested in all of these topics and look forward to getting my feel around the place.  I am a very lucid dreamer and dream almost every night.  I do feel as though I have been visited by spirits in my dreams and I find that so cool!  Any way..that is a brief intro to me!  Hope to talk with some of you along the way :)

hi harry :)  i know exactly what you are talking about. And, I don't know how exactly to describe it earlier, but you did a good job!  I have odd experiences like this I swear in my mind I have done something, then snap out of it, and I haven't done a darn thing.
