do you think when you go into trance and mentally request guidance on a matter, for example with techniques like silva method, then it is spirit guides who give you the information?
and do you think spirit guide and holy guardian angel are the same thing?
#2
Hi what do you think about claims that there are higher level practices than astral projection for example maybe psychic or soul travel that maybe allow you to visit higher planes than the astral or to gain more power?  it seems to me that most ap books I've read say that the astral plane is the highest plane it is possible to project to, do you think thats true or maybe some authors or experts in ap don't know or keep some information to themselves?
I always thought soul or psychic travel were different terms for astral projection but maybe not

Hi

aimed at those of you who consider yourself to have learned the art of lucid dreaming:
how frequently do you have a lucid dream from your natural night-time sleep?  i.e. every night? few nights a week?  more than one a night?
and aimed more at those that are old hands at lucid dreaming, do you go in for the Buddhist dream yoga side of lucid dreaming a lot, or just do whatever lucid dream adventures take your fancy

thanks

unless you have the means that buying machines like that to try them out isn't an issue, you might want to check some of charles cosimano (uncle chuckie) manuals and youtube videos which are all available online, if you haven't already.  I think a psionics device could potentially help with ap, although I agree with other posters that it shouldn't be necessary

this site was recommended to me on here - free-binaural-beats.com I tried there healing binaural I thought it was quite good

if you google 'youtube to mp3' there are sites that convert the audio from youtube videos into mp3 so if you find a good ap track on youtube you could download the audio
#7
thanks I keep forgetting how much good stuff you can get on youtube nowadays.  you can always grab the audio if you want to which I sometimes do if it is an interview because then the video is a bit pointless.  I've used sbagen quite a bit in the past but never gnaural.

Hi with isochronic or binaural tracks do you feel you get what you pay for or are some of the less expensive tracks as good as anything
the reason I ask is some are very expensive at up to $30 a track but then on amazon or itunes you can buy similar downloads for less than a dollar, of course anyone could make binaural tracks for free with something like sbagen and sell them if they wanted to

I am reading it just now it seems really good.  he has a questionnaire section and gives suggestions on what exercises and techniques would be helpful based on your answers.  it seems to be based on a phasing approach which I wanted to learn more about.

I'd like to know about this book as well it seems to be getting good reviews.  in particular, I'd like to know if the author promotes his brainwave entrainment cd a lot in his book - I seem to remember on his website he was offering quite an expensive brainwave entrainment cd - can you follow the book well enough without it?

Hi

I know with a lot of magical practice and meditation it is best if you do them daily is that also the case with most ritual/qabalah/golden dawn type magic that you have to do the exercises daily to see results,  or are some of them exercises you can do once or when you feel like it for the experience and leave it

I've been thinking of getting into a book like practical qabalah magic by david rankine or something similar but I really wouldn't want to if its going to involve an elaborate and time consuming daily practice

I'd appreciate it if you could offer me any advice on this.  (I'm not keen on getting into goetia or enochian magic at this time)

Hi

I think on a gateway retreat you spend most of your time for a week listening to as much of the gateway series as possible would I progress my ap skills a lot would you think if I tried to recreate something similar by listening to as many of the gateway home study tracks as possible at the weekends or would it be better to space them out and listen to one a day over a few months
#13
I'm in the middle of this book now and I'm enjoying it a lot

Hi is it common when doing energy work and chakra exercises such as new energy ways for difficult emotions to arise, if so should you ease off on the exercises or is it a good thing
#15
is there such a thing as a shape shifter who can alter their appearance in the physical world as quickly as the blink of an eye
#16
your idea reminds me of some of the meta magick ideas phillip farber comes up with, have you looked at any of his books, especially mind magick, you might enjoy it
#17
Hi has anyone tell me if ascension magick by christopher penczak is any good I've been considering buying it for ages but its quite pricey and it seems to be getting mixed feedback from blogs and stuff.  or if anyone has read his other books and would recommend him as an author

Hi I am using a hemi sync home study course and was wondering if someone could tell me, plz, what the format is if you go on a hemi sync retreat, would it be similar to listening to each exercise in the home study course in sequence over the course of the retreat with breaks for discussion or would it be something quite different?

thankyou!

I'm the same I had this book for ages before I started reading it properly recently, which is unusual for me.  I like it because he encourages you to choose your own technique based on your preferences and gives guidelines for what will make a successful astral projection ritual.  it'll be good as well for people who are interested in golden dawn and the like because he gives insights into their techniques that are related to ap.

Hi, anyone used the Hemi Sync Lucid Dreaming techique set?
I was wondering if it is any good, a recommended way to learn ld?
Also, if it would require continuing to use the guided meditation or does it give you a trigger of similar to enter the ld state at will?

Thanks

Hi AstralJessica

I've never written a book on AP or anything else, but it's something I'm looking into at the moment
did that work out well for you, publishing on kindle?

thanks

I'd like to add, if higher balance turns out to be some kind of cult as there seems to be some allegations of or this is just a really bad program, in your opinion is trying this program out likely to damage you other than the fact that you've wasted your money?
#23
I'm going to *bump* this one, cos I was interested in this program too, can anyone post a review on it?
I was quite keen to try it out but after googling found some quite dodgy allegations against the guy behind higher balance
still, would be interested in reading an unbiased review of this or other higher balance materials, I'm on their mailing list and some of their courses they promote look quite interesting
#24
I'm not sure if most governments really care much at all if people astral project or practice magic or whatever else, I'm sure there would be plenty more they could do about it if they did
#25
Hi do you smoke DMT to get these experiences or is it through meditation?
Your post reminded me of this product by higher balance institute I got emailed about but decided against buying - http://lp.higherbalance.com/in-between-audio-2
But I just googled this product on a dmt forum and they didn't seem convinced by it, I don't think they had tried it though
