Thanks for the reply and the warm welcome, Han. Ive read about about this 'phasing' method and it sounds intriguing. One bit that caught my attention was the description 'whent he background becomes the foreground' - this is exactly how I would describe it feels like when the images in the 'hypnogogic' state take center stage and 'conscious reality' fades to the background - Im still aware of myself but the 'brain movies' are vivid, and most times it seems like my senses are tied to them. (I can see, hear, smell in whatever realm Im in). It seems that from this state I can enter the vibratory state.
I'm going to have to read more on this, but I dont want to become too analytical right away. In my experience, I tend to 'over think' things in the beginning - a practice Im getting away from. I find its better just to let things flow, and decipher the experience later when you can devote your brain to such processing.
