You might try valerian tea. Any health food store should have it or be able to order it. Stinks while it's brewing and it's an acquired taste, but if you don't overdo it, it can slow things down gently. Less chance of falling alseep, which can happen with valium, which is stronger. Good luck. ~

My keyboard is deficient, looked all over for it and it ain't there.  :)

Hi,
You asked for a reply to the vibration problems you're having and I may be able to help you, but would have to know where you're coming from belief-wise. Not if you believe in Buddah, Jesus, etc., but whether you believe we are spirits living in a temporary form or the darwinian model that we are imaginative animals. I'll help any way I can based on my experiences.  Good luck either way,  Jim ~

P.S. I wouldn't mind seeing your research on public school if you feel like sharing. I don't know if it would be possible to find a publisher, but do think more people should expose the problem, so why not you?

Hey, complex E! Can't you turn that 30+ pages into a couple hundred and publish it? Someone needs to!

Welcome, Ali!  :D

Hey greatoutdoors, do you have a quick link to that Aunt Clair post? I've been having little flashes lately of maybe being out later in the day, but too vague. I think you're (and she's) really onto something there. Thanks either way.  :)

Hello happypuppy! You might want to go to the introductions post and re-post. Welcome anyway!   :D
#8
Yes, definitely!  :)
I just started a post on the subject. I'm interested in hearing all the stories I can if they're true. Did the guy give you the hairy eyeball when you told him?
#9
Definitely like to hear how it pans out- good one!  :D

Just MHO, but if the symbol changes, that would be lucid dreaming. If it's gone, AP.

Hi mthorn25,
An experience only you can discern with you rown personal proof, but it might well not have been in your head. A lot of us have had that happen. The 2 guests may have been there, just not when you were. In true AP, there's a funny line in space/time that we cross occasionally, and time can be irrelevant. Keep pluggin'.  :)

Well, you know what? This is *poof*

Someone knows what I mean, lol.

Hi Forw4rd and welcome! :D

"i'm happy to know that our minds are capable of such spiritual journeys".........? How about "our spirits are capable of having mind journeys"?

Best of luck!

Hi ojohorus,
Head for the FAQ first. Quite a few answers there. Then, just go through the posts. Not much that hasn't been covered. Just takes time, like OBE. Welcome and good luck! :D

WolfSpirit55,
I believe you're right. I'm seeing it coming to extremes of the good getting better and the bad getting worse, but overall a little bit better, based on the news (don't mean CNN, but real news). I believe though, that no apocalyptic 'end of the world' is coming. In one of my precognative APs, I saw a much brighter future. Whether that pans out depends on a lot of factors and the future I saw could be one of many 'potential' futures that may have altered the day after I saw it. Muddy territory, predicting the future. I don't think anyone can be 100% of any long term future prediction. Nostradamus said the same. I hope what I saw was what will be.

To all, I read somewhere recently that in the shift of consciousness that's supposed to happen before the 2012 date is supposed to hinge on an astrological occurence on September 18, 2007. Not that the sun is going to shine on a perfect day on that date, but it's supposed to be the date the tide turns somehow. Maybe there's nothing to it (?). Has anyone else heard of this? Guess time will tell and hopefully, things improve before then. Next few years should be interesting, that's for sure!

So, what's everyone else here seeing???

OrionsDream,
O.K. I'll rephrase...'forced' education or at least the current model. Didn't read the tatch, didja?

Like to hear more experiences anyone's willing to share with travelling/finding themselves backward or foreward into real-time events, verifying details, bringing back useful info if crimes, disasters witnessed and suggestions of how to improve the ability. Whether they were intentional or unintentional, how much intuitive impressions (knowledge related to the events without seeing or hearing) were the source of info, if any.

Hey Blue Theory, great post!
No idea why other people interact with our own dreams/APs. Amazingly, it happens, though. Someone will probably come along with a reasonable explanation.

I had a lucid dream years ago (thought at the time it was anyway) of flying in the rural neighborhood where I grew up. One of those flying dreams where if you lose your concentration, you start to fall. I was being chased by werewolves below waiting for me to fall. I was with two others, my best friend and someone else who was vague. One night both the best friend and a newer friend were talking about all this stuff (the newer friend and I are both weirdos, the best friend is what should be considered 'normal') and I described my dream. Turned out we'd all had similar dreams at what we figured was about the same time period (same night maybe???), the major difference being that in my best friend's dream he said I turned into a werewolf and started chasing him, too. Lucid dream? AP? Half-and-half? Was the newer friend the third 'vague' person in my dream? Both of them said they were with two others. Strange way to share a dream if that happened. So, think it may be possible the 'person you're close to' will go in together with you on it financially or something? Hope that dream comes true, btw!

Also, curious if you see a brighter future with a better world when looking ahead?  :)

I've wondered that for years. I know if I eat pasta with spaghetti sauce in copious amounts just before crashing I get a night jam-packed with weird dreams. Whether that induced any forgotten APs, don't know. Maybe different foods do set some people up for it?

Oh, S. CA right in your profile.

More truck research to do... ~

Voice Of silence,
I didn't answer the question of deceased relatives, but never met or seen any. Sorry, kind of ripped off your post here. Last one, I promise.

Fliesatnight, verification for one of these 'events' was pretty definite, at least for my interests. It's in the 'Time Travel' post down a few on this menu. I debated for years about calling the police, but for your perfectly-put reasons of discretion, I put it off. I asked some open-minded friends whether or not I should report it and they said "yes", they told me that there was one cool old guy at this particular department among a bunch of bad-reputation cops. I never got in touch with him or the parents, who I hear generally would rather know so they can 'close the door' on the disappearance. But....  :?

Verification, even for self-curiosity is a nowhere thing. What's the point? It's not exactly a 'gift' and no one benefits. I didn't know if there was maybe some way of improving the ability to follow up on what you already knew, maybe it's a gift you have to train for, like having a good voice, but need to get singing lessons? These things just come out of the blue and unless you see the news report or get the info from some other source, you're just left to wonder.

As for the firetruck story, nothing since to corroborate any of it. Don't know whether past or future on this one- or if I saw it more or less as it happened. It was afternoon in the AP and night here, so if that were the case, maybe it was Europe??? Sometimes dreams are so realistic it's a challenge to tell them from these back/forward APs (I'm sure there's a technical  name for them, but I always called them space/time jumps). you wake up and it's still with you in a bad way, but after some time and common sense analysis things don't add up. When it's the real deal, though, there's no question. You just KNOW that it wasn't a trick of the mind. Something very distinct sets it apart. In some post or other I mentioned that gaining control over these useless 'visions' was my main objective. Some psychics list their gifts to help/hire out in investigations and the police call them if they want their services. With this type, there isn't enough info to be usefull and you're not working on a case that's been given you (and can't). You just see something awful and know too little and can't tell the police. Again...  :?

The impression I got was that it was a firetruck, but whether it said 'Fire Department' on the doors I don't remember. Don't think it did, so maybe you're right.... since the truck sounds familiar, is it possible that it happened in your state? That would be a pretty wild synchronistic coming together of the details, huh? It happened kind of that way in the story I wrote on the 'Time Travel' post if you check it out.

Fliesatnight, do you (or anyone here) know if the ability can be controlled/improved somehow?

Fliesatnight,
There are a bunch of these, most pretty unhappy, I'm afraid. The one I mentioned above was like my state, Maine, but didn't seem it. This might have been in England or Ireland, though (?).

There was a pretty 10+/- year old girl with long black hair, who lived in a small rural rundown house with a mucky pond behind it. I saw her at some point during the events in the kitchen, sitting in a chair and combing her hair over and over. The kitchen is crystal clear in memory as well as the house exterior. First saw her with a boy who was a neighbor friend (?) at the right side of the house where there was an old, but like-new firetruck with an odd color, light powder green, reminiscient of the powder blue on the old late-50s Cadillacs. The top was shaped kind of roundish, two humps that I only saw from the back, might have had lights in them (?). I mention it only because I've tried online to find firetrucks like it and wonder if it was English (?). The kids were being kids and chasing each other around the truck and I got the impression that she had been told to stay away form it by her father, who was a huge and ill-tempered Scot or Irishman with black, curly hair. How I knew this is a mystery because I don't recall seeing him at all, but it's a strong impression. One reason it didn't seem like Europe was the father had an accent, but neither of the kids did. Anyway, while they were on opposite sides of the truck, the boy scratched the paint on the truck. I never saw it and I'm not even sure whether he wrote something or just scratched it by accident, but the girl was very worried she'd catch hell for it. I don't remember the boy leaving or the father coming home or anything that happened before the next visual of a lot of pain and looking up through long black hair and blood and crying to myself, "Daddy, why?" and then sinking into the pond and the scene going black. I can't imagine that her father would kill her for scratching the paint on his beloved firetruck, but getting some impressions from her perspective, maybe that's why she thought and it could have been some other reason? Who knows.

A lot of times I get pretty good impressions as to when and where, sometimes I wonder if it's something that's going to happen. Those are the ones that really bother me because there's no way to stop it.

Fliesatnight, do you ever have the "do I tell the police?" dilemma on those where you have the details down?
#23
Hey fliesatnight,
Did you have impressions of who it was and where or just see the crime as 'somewhere' until the news report? I had one that wrecked me for a week and still bothers me sometimes, tons of details, but completely vague location-wise.

Hi Donna666,
There's probably a better place to post a request for help. Try the main Astral Experiences and there are a lot of people who'll be willing to help. If you want, you can also try to PM me if I'm on sometime and I'll help if I can. The first thing you should do is describe what's going on.

Sounds like an OBE to me, maybe a little lucid dreaming here and there. Very familiar stuff. Next time, maybe get some lights on earlier and try to remember certain details of  distant surroundings. Takes awhile sometimes when you get back to sort out the whole thing and remembering those details can help. Best of luck.  :)
