Thanks. I had read that prior to posting and it was very informative and relatable to my life experiences.

First off, hello everyone. A little about me.. For as long as I could remember I've had, I guess, OBEs but I've always experience Full Body Paralysis with them. Also, I've always had them when I'm sleeping alone. Most recently I've had the scariest one to date.

I was sleep in the bed with my spouse and she knows I've had these experiences before from me telling her but she's never witnessed it.

In my "dream" I see my body on the bed next to her flat on my back. Now for some reason I can see out of my physical bodies eyes looking at some pictures she has up on the opposite wall but one frame has a neon purple-like glow emitting from behind it. At the same time I feel like I'm walking and having a conversation with someone but I could never see who/what it was. Still seeing the room, my body and the light I felt like I was moving too far away from my own physical body and started to become afraid. The conversation got really intense and whomever I was speaking with asked me clearly..

"How do you know when you're sleep? How do you know when you're alive? And how do you know when you're dying?"

Instantly I felt like I was running, my body even started shaking and my girlfriend woke up rapidly and started shaking my body. My body was still shaking. I can feel her touching me but I could not move yet. I felt a rushing sensation in my body and I was then able to move again. I felt like I was going to die if I didn't make it back to my body. Or if not die, be lost forever in another place.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this?
