I think it'd be much worse had you actually exited your body and couldn't get back in, then i'd really worry.

Welcome to Dreams! / Storm dreams
August 02, 2005, 13:14:34
I've had many many dreams of tornadoes.  Not sure if it's a subconscious manifestation or something of a foreboding nature.
Yesterday I was standing in line at the market and glanced at one of the tabloids warning of massive tornadoes that are supposed to destroy parts of the midwest.  Well, being from the midwest it got me to wondering.
Hopefully these were just insignificant dreams I was having.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Angels.
July 30, 2005, 22:55:15
My first encounter with what i perceive to be angels was when i was 12.  I had been gravely ill for months and the doctors and specialists had no idea what was wrong.  I was in Rochester (the medical hospital) for months trying to figure it out, but they said they didn't expect me to live.  I was sitting in my hospital bed, praying and i felt hands on my head.  I opened my eyes and there were 2 people, one on each side with their hands placed on my head praying with me I even felt a warm sensation on my forehead when they said a prayer anointing me with oil.  The prayer was over and as i closed my eyes again they disappeared.  The very next morning a doctor called from a thousand miles away and said he'd found my case file and realized that I had a rare type of cancerous tumor eating away my vertebrae and he knew how to treat it.

The next encounter was when i was 18.  I was traveling north for a holiday visit with my grandparents when a blizzard descended from nowhere it seemed.  I hit a patch of ice and ended up in the ditch.  I thought I would freeze to death in my car.  About 30 minutes passed and a blazer pulled up on the other side of the highway.  An elderly man got out and told me to hold on he'd get me out.  He opened the back of that blazer and there was some type of big hoist setup in back that he hooked me up to and pulled me out in seconds.  I offered him money for his help and he wouldn't hear of it.  I left going North and he left going south again.  Even driving 20 miles per hour I ended up in the ditch again.  I don't know how, but the blazer that left going the opposite direction had somehow come driving south again toward me.  Once again the kind faced man pulled me out of the ditch.  This time I slipped money into his hand when I shook it and thanked him.  He smiled and told me to keep to the side of the road for 5 miles and the weather would clear up.  He was right.  And when I stopped in the next town and dug in my pocket, there was the money the money I swore I'd handed to that kind stranger.

The blobs could be signs of high blood pressure or even diabetes.
Not sure about what you're hearing....I heard what sounded like a fax machine (not the high pitch but the low grinding noise it makes in between) I heard this for quite awhile.  The doctors kept telling me it was nothing.  I woke up one morning completely deaf and the doctors still say it's nothing.  Wish I had an answer to share with you, but at least now you know you're not the only 1 (or 2, since your friend hears it also).
I've also been told about Taos Hum, which is some sort of rare noise heard by people all over the world.  I'm still looking into that myself.

Good luck!

You're welcome.  It would've been cool had this kind of experience happened again, but it never has.  Guess I was a weirder kid than anyone even realized  hehe.

Bi-location? That's a term I've never heard before but definitely going to look into it.  Thanks!

You're welcome, I'm always happy to share experiences with others since you never know when someone will offer insight that's not exactly obvious

Thanks much for the help bloodsong (and others).  I'll definitely check out the reading you suggested.  I'm currently looking at other alternatives also, such as herbs and such to cleanse myself and my surroundings.
I've actually encountered another happening since I've last posted here.  Nothing too dramatic, just took a shower the other day, went to the bedroom to get dressed and went back to the bathroom a couple minutes later and everything from my counter and shelves was placed in my bathtub.  Maybe there was an earthquake or something, but doubt that it'd only effect my bathroom  heh.
Once again, thanks for your input  :D

I've only experienced what seems to be astral projection once.  It was completely spontaneous and am wondering if this was indeed astral projection.

I was 6 years old at the time and my parents moved us to a new state about 500 miles away from my grandmother who, up until that time, had taken care of me while my parents were getting their degrees and working.
Seeing how she had the strongest impact in my life thus far, I couldn't help but miss here terribly.  She was kind of like Auntie Mame, showed me museums and taught me about culture and art and literature and even was my dance teacher (tap to be exact).
My new home was great but i miss granny goodwitch, as i called her.
About a month after our move, I was about as heartbroken as a kid can be. I was sitting outside wishing i could be with my grandmother and after a few minutes it seemed like i was looking at everything through the wrong end of binoculars, everything smaller and getting further away.  The next thing i knew i was standing on the landing outside my grandmother's bedroom door. I knew not to enter without knocking, so i knocked a couple of times without an answer so i called out "Granny Goodwitch" and told her to come out so we could dance.  I then knocked and called out again and started to tap dance up and down the hallway.  I looked and saw the doorknob turning and reached for it, but just as suddenly as I'd appeared here I was back in my yard 500 miles away.

That evening my granny goodwitch called and told my mother that she had been sitting in her room doing some needlepoint and she'd heard what sounded like tap-dancing outside her bedroom door.  She wasn't sure what to make of it until she heard me calling her name.  She went to open the door, thinking we'd surprised her with a visit, but as soon as she opened the door the tapping stopped and nobody was there.

This actually happened, not sure what to classify it as though.....mind experience? out of body? astral projection?

My granny goodwitch still tells this story to everyone quite often.

thanks for the advice.  I've always been pretty intuned with my spiritual side, but it's more a faith i guess than any particular religion.  I have talked to a minister who basically quoted Steel Magnolias..what doesn't kill us....blah blah.  I know all of that.
I'd definitely be interested in learning more about my 'gift' as you put it.  Just as long as it's nothing to do with demonic worship or anything of that sort.
The experience before my hearing went was a negative one, and I've had other negative experiences also, but on the other hand I've had some very wonderful and I'd say miraculous experience also.  First hand knowledge of good versus evil i guess you could say.
Any and all direction is greatly welcome and appreciated.

When it first happened i was completely deaf except for the weird noises i heard just before and during the episode, it improved very little over the next couple years.

Ok, i know i'm not crazy or a follower of any sort of lunatic fringe.
My earliest encounter with the paranormal was around age 5 and continues to this day.
I've encountered glowing orbs, astral projection, hazy ghostlike lights, things moving themselves, strange noises from nowhere, visits by newly deceased family members...etc.  basically been thru it all.  Just chalked it up to happenstance mostly and moved on.  But after an experience awhile back i was left without my hearing i had to see a doctor.  In fact many many doctors who all tell me it's nothing clinical or psychological that they can tell.
I've just started focusing on why some of these things occur.  I've found on most of these sites, too many are on to guffaw any and all experiences they hear about and make those who are encountering any sort of experience sound like they're stupid or crazy.  Makes me wonder, if they're spending time online just to be ignorant and attack other people's experiences, maybe they're the crazy ones  hehe.

Anyway, just sincerely looking for any insight i can find as to why certain things happen.  Now that's it's actually taken a physical toll on me (or a clinic one at least) I need to find answers.

Any insight is welcome, but don't poopoo if you've never experienced anything yourself thanks  :)
