Something telling not to project? that is fairly common. Usually more psychologically rooted then anything. You just have to realize you can easily kick its butt if you want to, if you see it again probably the best thing to do is imagine it on fire till it lets go then proceed to beat the living excrement out of it. kill or beat it until it leaves, as long as you think it's possible you can.... this kind of thing is my favorite pass time on the astral.

Entering thoughts: you can screw with people subconscious my messing with their astral(ethric?) body (coexists with psychical at All times)
you can do thing to affect their mood and maybe pull information out but good luck! while awake they won't respond much and while asleep they nod off after awaking them in astral (with no memory of it).

To actually levitate you would have to push energy or whatever you want to call it down with enough force to make a rocket effect, How to do that exactly? I have no clue.
A system like N.E.W could not move much outside your body and systems that can would make it hard to get that kind of force, especially for long enough to fly, and the concentration it would require ...basically you could try to fly for a good part of your life without satisfactory results if you didn"t devoid everything to have this one parlor trick you could not do for long anyways....

Well I could refer to some scientific observations and say we that don't move anywhere when crossing a room and be right! Now asserting this doesn't really help anyone and if someone where to take it into consideration it would basically just confuse them for a while. I know it helps to explain things in certain parts of phasing but you really don't need to tell everyone who says anything about moving that there is no movement, especially to someone who hasn't had a chance to research around here and get a little experience, and if they have I am sure they"ve heard it a thousand times   .

Besides we have gotten off the topic....no you can't come in the wrong way unless you want to and that might just be fooling yourself. If you came back too fast you will be disorientated and dizzy like you would if someone woke you up fast from a deep sleep but a little worse.

What do you mean by "if you have magick"? that's bugging me, makes me think you have some other false prejudice on the subject. As for "evil" magick and stuff, there are undesirable forces you can meddle with, but evil is a little extreme of a term to label it. But beside them you can just other things to do harm, and if your good "wash" the karma off to prevent backfire.

This Kata will give add 10 attacks per mellee to your total! However, it uses 2 chi per mellee, and quite a few new attack types. However, a different type of attack must be used for every attack you make, and you may not use any form of defense (parries, dodges, rolls, etc. when using this kata). It also adds a substantial amount of years to your age. [that's negative chi power, or body hardening power that costs 3 negative chi to activate for 2D6 melees. Positive Chi is about giving life, Negative is the opposite]

Actually I'm fairly sure from what I've studied the original idea of the horn-god Jews called "Satan",as that is their word for adversity, was a pagan god of fertility...and sex outside certain conditions is clearly a terrible sin   . The bible originally never actually referred to the snake in Eden as Satan, he is only directly called that when he is the leader of the "fallen" who very well may have be the people that worshiped the god of fertility, and to challenge God on the obedience of Job. In my opinion there were many "Satans" and the idea of this enemy turned into the concept of a actual being over time.

closest I got was a little into the atmosphere, which I though was the actual sun on approach, and started to think how hot it should be. Right then I got a slight heat sensation, thought I was about to feel how hot it is and got scared back to my body. As for the light...hard to explain, it should be blinding and painful but isn't. it's more light then your psychical body can handle well but that doesn't really make a difference at the time.

That's my specially on the astral, what are wanting to accomplish though it?
