I know I haven't been here in a while...
  Does anyone know a good place on the web that provides free binaural audio? There was a good one on the Jonas Ridgeway site but it got shut down

Have any of you heard of the recently ( Well, 60's, I think) proposed language called Esperanto? It is a great, reasonable language that was çreated in 1887, I think. Here are some basic words, notice how closely related they are to some other languages.

I laid down earlier this afternoon to rest my eyes. I had just finished reading Bruce's Treatise on Astral Projection, so I decided to try the ROPE technique. In about an hour and a half ( ) I was out. I couldn't move though after several attempts to walk /fly, but then I fell for a long time down, down, down, through the floor I think. As I was falling I remember 'seeing' huge Carnation flowers floating down with me. Every time I would have a thought, it was seem to fly away in a visible form, like the Pensieve in Harry Potter ( Me huge nerd ). Then, I pretty much slipped away.I didn't where I was at first but then I realized- The LOTR poster by my bed! I was in this big pasture. A bunch of people were being killed and that's really all  I remember.[/i]

I-I () \/\/ Do you get into different dimensions? Does it involve anything besides basic meditation and relaxation?
 I Know about virtual projection and astral. But what about the other realms entailed in
Robert Bruce's Treatise on Astral Projection, section II? The mental dimension sounds simply spellbinding.

I tried to astral project this afternoon.
 It was pretty bright out, so I shut up the blinds. My parents weren't home, so I sprawled out on the couch. After about 45 minutes of relaxing, the vibrations were slowly, subtly moving in. I tried to hold them and stayed faithful to them for a long time.
 
  My mind filled with some pretty awful images, and I started seeing them, which made me think that I was out already and fear was manifesting. " I will   just erase the fear," I thought, " then I'll fly out and have super fun!"  WRONG.
        Now comes the tricky part.
   Just as I felt sure I was out, a firm hand grasped my neck. I felt as if I was being shaken, and the pain felt real on my physical body. I stopped breathing and gasped for air as a sly hand continued to grip tighter, shaking me up and down and around.  Still, I did not snap out of this phase.  I tried screaming, but it didn't work. Suddenly, I was floating, un-knowing and ignorant, in a huge, seemingly never ending plane of white. In a few seconds though, that sensation was gone and I was back being throttled by some unknown force. I could now see the thing slowly killing me, it looked like a billy goat with a top hat and monocle on. " DON'T YOU EVER DO THIS AGAIN, AND I'LL NEVER LET YOU OUT OF MY CLUTCHES!!!!!!!!" It cried, or it said SOMETHING like that. A cat paw shot from the corner and I stared hard at it. In seconds, I was back in body. I was so numb that I tumbled off the couch. Apparently then, I wasn't back in body. I awoke for real on my own bed.

     The strange thing is, I was almost completely lucid through the whole thing.

Well, I HAD AN OBE!

 Last night, I was REALLY, REALLY tired. I decided I'd lie down and try to project and escape my torn up, sick body. In about 2 minutes of relaxing and breathing, the vibrations came. I focused hard on them and they got stronger. I was unconscious about 3-5 minutes and when I came out I was standing upright above my body. Strange though, my eyes were open. At any rate, I was stuck up there, partially blind. Soon, my vision cleared and I was so lucid it was scary. I then lost all control and flew through my window and carefully examined the card that I had facing the street that I hadn't seen. Overjoyed, I was suddenly flipped upside down and lost almost all lucidity so I decided I'd go back to my body. Leaping up out of my bed, I sneaked out of the house and looked at the card on my window facing the street. It matched!!!!!!!!
  Tried to get out again this afternoon. Got about 4 hours of good sleep
     

I know I'm not an old enough member to be saying this, but I am glad the site has been livening up lately  
  I really appreciate this place, after what happened at Jonas Ridgeway...

 Anyway,  

I know Halloween is long gone, but I was wondering if anyone here had projected on Halloween. Would there be a certain risk at doing this? I know there is quite a spiritual value to the holiday.

Okay, I've had two OBE's!!!!!!! Woo-HOOO!!!

But I have 2 questions:
   
 1: Sometimes I lay in bed trying to project, and this strange feeling comes (it starts in my legs, and usually stays there). It's almost as if air is being blown across my legs, maybe lifting me up. It doesn't hurt or  anything, but it makes me wonder what it is.
  2: WHY CAN'T I EXIT? Ugghh! Sometimes, I have reallllllllllllllly good vibrations, and I just can't get that final push out. Any suggestions, exiting methods?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated

Okay, I just got finished having another OBE!

 

I was on my bed tired because of some morning work. Suddenly I felt the lifting and vibrating feeling and realized that I could try to have an OBE. Within a matter of minutes, I felt myself falling in and out of consciousness and then rising up to the ceiling. Due to the shock, fear, and utter oddities of my previous OBE, I decided not to be scared and see what my 'astral body' was capable of. It was probably the most exhilarating experience of my life! I shot through the window and felt an odd strong energy, maybe it was male but I don't know ( what do you make of it? )  and into the neighborhood, then the sky. I was flying! Up and down and around, like Superman!  I came upon the courthouse. "THAT WONT STOP ME!" I thought. "IM GOING RIGHT THROUGH IT!" I was wrong. I was sucked back to my body with such force that  I jolted the bed.

I am dreadfully confuzzled... WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AP AND OBE???

Okay, I AP'ed again! It was a SOBE though..

I laid down on my bed and I didn't even think about OBEing. I was really thirsty, but too lazy to roll over to the other side of the bed and take a sip of water from the nightstand. I kept thinking about moving over there to drink from it, and soon the vibrations and this weird squealing noise began. I 'got up' and decided to go into the kitchen to get something else to drink and calm my nerves. My door was open, so I just went through. " I feel awfully light, I must be losing weight," I thought jokingly. Looking around and seeing what an eery glow there was around everything, I realized that this must have been a dream- but how? Everything was in its place, and it seemed so real! I shot through the floor. "Yup, this is a dream," I must've thought. I thought it was my FIRST lucid dream!!! I went to my room, and looked at the computer screen. To my surprise, it was on the same web page that I had been on when I went to sleep! 'Very lucid..." I then looked at the bed in horror. THERE WAS MY BODY. " This can't be an OBE..." My friend and I had been testing our OBE skills, so he planted a 4-digit number in his room. I thought about him and there i was in his room. He was asleep, and his astral body was standing up beside him. "Hey, Ryan!!" I said, excited. I then remembered what someone had  said about people's astral forms standing up unconscious while they are asleep. I looked at the table and rattled off a four digit number, " 4786."  I still wasn't convinced wholly that this was an OBE. I begun to drift in and out of consciousness. I knew that this had to be a lucid dream, because I was now in a foreign country. The people were speaking French, but it did not look like France. I heard a ghostly voice speaking a very different language. IT WAS SOMEONE IN THEIR ASTRAL FORM TALKING TO ME! In my disbelief and confusion. I asked him who he was and WHERE I was. 'Shhogihsdoiihisfs' they said something like that. I was so confused. I then somehow materialized into this weird room with a bunch of weird looking creatures fighting. Something started talking to me. " You look dazed." It said, and then turned into a different shape. " Don't be scared, your guide is......" It said.
                 Everything went black except for me and the strange looking person , who kept taking on a different shape. Maniacal laughing. Weird, red creatures. Then , some 'weird red creature' started attacking me. I didn't feel pain of course, and I couldn't even make out what these awful things were. I began to throw punches and the 'guide person,' now a wolf, lunged at the ghoulish things and made them go away. "Th-" I said. He showed me a strange orb. "In it holds all wisdom and you've found it and and and and...." i could only make out some of what he said. I was confused, and I looked back at the orb and saw my room and me in my bed. I then appeared back in my room, disappointed and frightened. I saw the person in the corner of the room. " FEAR IS THE PINNACLE OF>..;......" Like a magnet I was drawn back to my body and shot straight back  out and it became like I was being teased like a puppet.... it seemed like I was just in and out of my body over and over... scary...
                     What do you think that was? (At the end)

I was just wondering... How many of you have traveled to infinity and beyond?
 Ha, I'm such a nerd, but seriously, how many people have traveled out of Earth's atmosphere to somewhere else in the solar system? I've now had two OBE's and I hope to someday be able to go out into the 'great yonder

AMAZING! I did it! I got to API! At least I think I did... with the pyramid... and pool.... OH IM SPELL BOUND! It was just great! I hope to go back and meet some members. Here's a description.

It was late in the afternoon, so I decided I would lay down and get some much-needed rest.  I didnt really think about trying to AP or anything, I just thought about sleep. Suddenly, I looked over at my computer at the picture of astral pulse island ( the desktop background) And I thought about "how relaxing and tranquil it must be and how I'd just love to go there but maybe some other time no ill do it now i doubt ill be able oh how i wish its cold and I wanna......" I was in vibration state. I shut up and thought about API and suddenly, I thought I was dreaming. I felt so light ( mind you, this was my first obe!) and the sand 'felt' so warm and and and and.... I saw some people sitting at this gazebo-like structure so I decided I would talk. This ragged, worn looking man approached me. " You're one of the pulse people, right?" One of the men said. Spellbound still that this was all happening, I managed a quiet " Mm." The robed man looked at me sternly and said,  " Do you people talk? Apparently you don't. " I gave him this puzzled look and said " I... I...." He and the other two men laughed. " Have a drink," the man said. Another man that looked younger and had long, blonde hair looked at me. "  The pulse people, *inaudible sound* treat it as if this place were there own. They build here, it is the subjective rape of our island." Not knowing what to say, I stuttered. " B-well-I-dont-dont..." I was fascinated at the apparent intelligence of these people. One of them pointed at the pyramid. " What?" I managed.  I then realized it was a sign for me to  go away. I came upon this big medieval-looking cathedral. I stood there dumbfounded. I was so happy, I thought I would just have  a heart- attack. " I can never go back now," I seemingly thought. " It would be wrong. I just can't. I-I'll live here. This is a much more peaceful land than
surviving the chaos and pandemonium in our world. I just- I can't." I went exploring around the pyramid, and decided that I had to go back.

Oh, and I remember seeing a pulse member i think. He was a tall man probably about 5'5-6. He  had long black hair and was wearing an Abe-Lincoln-like suit. (With the tall hat and all)

Well , i think i might have gotten there! If you are skeptical and think this might have just been a very lucid dream, tell me.

Hi. I have just found this forum through various other boards I go to, such as Astral Society.
     I am 15 and I live in Texas. I have yet to OBE but I hope  I will soon, I am VERY determined  

Anyway, API sounds like an awesome idea and umm....yeah
