Has anybody else had this happen?  Just when I transition into sleep from the waking state, I hear a VERY loud doorbell ring.  There is no doorbell in my house.  It's not heard with my ears, but it's LOUD; the end result in the brain is the same as if it was heard with my ears.  It snaps me awake each time.  It's usually a doorbell, although a couple times I heard somebody yell my name (I think?).  It hasn't happened for a couple years but for awhile it was every night.

By now, whether or not I "get out" really just depends on my mood.  EVERY night, typically, I need to fight to keep it from happening, but this is clearly because of the energy blockages Robert Bruce talks about.  I feel the vibrations, but it's painful, extremely irritating, and I have to violently shake my head to stop it.  So, last night, I decided to open up and support the "exit," instead of fighting it.  As I was going to sleep, I did the "hands through the body" thing that Astral Dynamics talks about, and I was "out" with no problems at all.  I don't remember the exit.  I became conscious somewhere at some lady's house ... I don't know who the lady was, but I opened the door to her house and walked in.  I stood in front of this lady – she was probably in her late 50's, very well groomed and dressed, she looked like one of those really savvy business ladies but she was still very pleasant.  I told her "I know this isn't real, because if it was, you would never have tolerated me just walking into your house like this."  She replied with a knowing smile, "well, maybe everything isn't what it appears to be here."  I knew I was done interacting with her, so I did some more floating around, flying.  It was daylight, then it was very dark, and (as usual) I picked a star out of the sky and said "I'm going there!"  I started flying toward it, I was flying straight up very fast, but the star wasn't getting any closer.  I realized the distances involved, and I thought to myself, "I'm never going to get there at this rate ... faster, go faster!"  Then, as usual, I woke up.
