Just minutes ago I went from full consciousness to full physical paralysis.. I induced real vibrations for the first time. My heart was beating really fast and the room was really hot.. I came really close to getting out but for some reason I couldn't seal the deal.

Every other time I've exited there were no vibrations and it took me seconds.. this time I tried every method.. clearing my mind for several minutes and just waiting.. (that one almost worked) rope almost worked.. etc, but nothing worked.

On the upside, I had a feeling that if I projected it would've been directly into the astral since my energy was so vibrant.. I guess it's harder to project to higher level?

Sidenote: I was on 4.5 hours of sleep today and I was exhausted during school. After the vibrations passed I kinda sat there and enjoyed the lighter energy passing through me-- it was relaxing. Right now I feel like I got a full nights sleep and I'm not tired at all-- I was.. in that state for only an hour or so.. is this normal? If so.. uhhh this might save me some time.

I'm currently in a college level Psychology class-- my teacher has had her masters in psyche for decades or so and is an amazing professor.

To the point-- every year she does a hypnosis exercise; she hypnotizes a student and does something fancy like giving them a post-hypnotic suggestion.

I approached her and told her that if she hypnotized me I could try and remotely view a blind location.

Anyone know what she or I should do to prepare for this? How she should ask questions? What energy work should I do?

I should mention that I've never consciously pulled off a remote viewing. I'll answer any followup questions. Thanks.

I've been having OBE's for a long time now upon awakening (on purpose) and I want to phase/go astral. I asked a while ago what I should do and I was told to focus my energy witin as opposed to out.. and I've tried that on several occasions now and everytime it only throws me out of my relaxed state.. it makes me more awake and I lose the imagery/vibrational enegery.

What should I do? How do I go about going astral once I'm OoB?

To this date I've had 5 OBE's over the past month, and not once did I experience vibrations. This morning though I did feel some the "vibrations" but I wasn't really conscious.. they scared me and I got up and went upstairs to my dad.. but this was all a dream (I did NOT OBE I had no lucidity).. so were the vibrations part of the dream or did I just lapse?

It just seemed strange that all of a sudden I would get vibrations now when I never get them upon exiting.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / strange OBE
November 23, 2005, 12:44:56
This morning I went through my usual waking OBE. Upon exit I heard a mans voice say "you become a different person.." As I was out, I noticed in the mirror I was bluish-black with longer dark hair.. and for the first time ever it was night time (it was actually morning in the physical).. I had a desire to set things on fire but I couldn't keep any focus or lucidity and went back to physical.

Seems like I could have been OBEing with a different side of my personality.. an evil side perhaps? Anyway, I thought it was interesting.

I've gotten to the point where I can basically go to RTZ every morning when I'm in a state of relaxation.. now I'm wondering:

How can go astral/explore more/get more lucidity when I'm in the RTZ?

and

How can I phase/project straight into the astral? Do some energy work and get a deeper focus 10?

Thanks in advance.

This morning I woke up with a blue geometric/kaleidoscopic image on my eyelids pulsating to my heartbeat... I haven't seen anything as vivid on my eyelids yet, what focus was this exactly? Shortly after I left my body to do nothing interesting, but I thought image was cool.

Wow this has been a big day for me. Not even two weeks ago did I learn what astral projection was, now I've had 4 experiences... 3 of them were today, heh.

#1: I was supposed to go to school at 6:30 but I stayed up late doing a paper so I got woken up by my alarm then and then just went back to sleep. I was kinda waking up, but I could see little cartoon pyramids (I'm Egyptian) on my pillows through my eyelids, and well, I don't have cartoon pyramids on my pillows.. and seeing through my eyelids isn't something I do very often (read: ever). So, I tried to start sinking to start meditating or whatever... and much to my surprise I sank right under my bed! No vibrations no yucky exit, I sank under my bed, rolled out, and flew out my window. The feeling of going through cold glass was.. amazing to say the least.

The projection itself was kinda boring, I ended up following a car on the road and getting lost... I saw a lot of people I knew and flew through some of them so I went back to my body to remember it cause it felt like a long projection. ONE NOTABLE THING: I used to have a basketball hoop in my driveway, it's no longer there, but when i projected it was there BUT there was an old style clock on the right corner of it (not digital).. anyone know what this could symbolize?

#2: Shortly after waking from that one, I got up and walked around and went back to bed. I found myself in a similar state and sank down again.. I can't remember what happened in this one EXCEPT i remember opening my physical eyes at the same time as my astral and I got too confused and blacked out. I didn't feel sick or really feel the duality because it all overwhelmed me far too quickly. Oh yeah, no vibrations again)

#3: Same state, this time I tried the rope method... took about two seconds I floated right up.. can't remember this one either but.. NO vibrations AGAIN-- I think that's a good thing that I can project without vibrations.

Annyway.. in either the 2nd or 3rd ones I remember seeing the same basketball hoop/clock.. but I don't remember anything else... Oh and one last thing: on either the second or 3rd ones, as I was reentering my body.. I kept spinning around like my astral form didn't know which way I was facing haha.. didn't really bother me just thought it was funny.

Just thought I'd share my experiences... I didn't expect to do this so easily.

I'm new here and I figure this is a good way to introduce myself. I'm 17, and I live in a suburb of Boston, attending a public high school. I have a strong intuition and somewhat frequently I get good/bad feelings situations that are almost always on par. Oh, and I'm Egyptian if that matters.

Last Thursday (nov 3rd) I started reading about OBE's and inducing them and all the astral plane etc. Yesterday morning I had my first OBE.. I THINK.

Let me make one thing clear-- I've never, ever had a lucid dream. On this particular night I was scared, I don't know why, maybe I'm still afraid of the dark. I dozed off feeling very lightheaded. Next thing I know I'm dreaming in a very strange state. My arms are shooting up in the air and flailing around to block my face. My perspective of this flailing starts spinning- literally spinning around and around. I could definitely feel this sensation as it confused me.

Next thing I know I'm next to my computer (which is across the room) and I don't feel fully conscious. But somehow I knew I was LDing or OBeing or something so I said "I am floating up" and I gained consciousness.

So I'm standing there with poor poor vision (as if I were squinting). I forgot to say "clarity now" I suppose. I glance around my room (not looking in the direction of my body). I decide to try to go through the ceiling-- I float up towards it but I can't get through it, I'm assuming because I didn't try hard enough. Then I floated over to the living room which is directly connected to mine, I looked around and then turned back. I decided to look at my hand as a test. It was very long, orange, and fingers were melting. This startled me and I thought "I want to go back to my body." Moments later I was back in my body and awake with no returning or rubber band sensation.

I hopped up with glee, POSITIVE I had an OBE. I have a terrible relationship with my parents, but I still woke them up to tell them what happened. I shared this with a few friends at school.

But today is tuesday, and that memory feels so distant and surreal now, as if it were merely a dream. At the time I was SURE I was concious, but my thoughts felt so heavy and my vision was hazy. Right now I'm confused if I OBE'ed or I had a lucid dream of me OBEing? Or maybe I'm just crazy.

If someone could go through the events and rationalize what state I was in at each point, that would be great. I've yet to conciously induce an OBE.. the last thing I remember as I went to sleep was trying NOT to have an OBE, strange huh?
