Hi Folks,

Thought i might chuck this one out there for ideas. I started having this dream when i was around 16; I'm now 28. The dream has evolved over time. It used to be about animals,  such as pets but now it is about babies. (I don't have a child, but we are "trying" currently)

So... I have a pet/baby. I am trying to show it something (a toy, a game etc) but whatever I am doing goes horribly wrong, and winds up inadvertantly causing a massive, gory injury. I spend the rest of the dream trying to rectify my mistake, but it just gets worse, the pet/baby winds up in worse pain, even dead, as a result of my actions.

I'll give you an example. In one, I dreamt that I was showing a talking kitten (lol) a view, and we were in a rooftop garden. i was holding the kitten against the rails, but they fell, and wound up being impaled on a wooden stake. I ran down and tried to get it off, but it just made it worse...

They are pretty unpleasant dreams. And graphic. (ew)

Any ideas? What's all this about???

Hi everyone,

It's been a number of years since I logged in here, and I can't seem to find all the articles that used to be around...

Do they exist anymore? I'm eager to get reading about what's been happening around here!

 Meg xx

PS. Thank you for a well-designed site that enabled me to find my old posts very quickly. It was fascinating to read them.

Hi Astralpulsers,

Wow, has this site grown since last time I was here!! Last time I *really* checked in here as an "Astral Pulse obsessee," (Is there such a word?) there was only around a thousand members! Congratulations to Adrian and all the rest who have done such a great job.

So here I am anyway. Two years into a crazy-making teaching career, and feeling *just* about ready to put my focus into other things (I hope!)
I have just spent the afternoon reading all my old posts, and it has been frightening to realise how much I have forgotten about AP and the experiences I had with it during that time in my life. It has made me feel a bit weird and teary actually... This site was such a huge part of my life (choke!)

So that was in 2002. A long time. I see some of my old chums are moderators now, and some are no longer around. Hello to all of you, and to all those who have joined the community in my long absence... I look forward to meeting you all on the boards :)

STRANGE REUNION

In the Milky Way's
smooth darkness, you were weightless.
Do you remember?

And the stars were still
and distant. He grasped your hand
as you whorled upwards.

When the movement stopped,
you felt him there, warm and brown
and soft as leather.

Holding you upright
in the black, where you hovered
in strange reunion.

Here, your grandfather,
and real then as autumn leaves
when you kissed his hands.

And he was young and
familiar, that held you in
forgotten memory.

Do you remember?
If there were words, they were not
needed. You felt them

moving through your blood,
tangible and comforting
as worn corduroy:

Grand-daughter. Here in
the glittering, I give you
all my love, my pride.

Until your belly
was full with it, and you knew
he'd been there always.

Watching, and sending
love to you, through the filmy
curtain between worlds.

Well you should probably stop relying on your nightmares to project. Your dream mind will still be active and those nightmares will stay with you even when out of body.

Hi Meg,
If you haven't tried the following Banishment Ritual, give it a go next time.  This is very simple, I've used it a couple of times on Astral Entities.

REPEAT 3 TIMES - "According to Spiritual Law, I banish you from my presence, to never ever return."

This was taught to me by a friend, who after having a NDE, is now psychic.

Cheers!

Overactive upper chakras which are not grounded by the lower chakras can result in just the sort of problems you are talking about. The astral levels are very subjective, though, and the mafia makes for a powerful symbol. When the information is interpreted by the base level consciousness, maybe elvis is the closest idea for some people. Mental activities like trance induction would be more likely to cause the situation to worsen. Physical exercises, gardening, tai chi, massage, or anything based on the physical which would be firmly grounding could help to open up the lower chakras and to allow the flooded upper chakras to function more effectively. Physical sorts of disciplines are also a good idea for people who are around people with overactive upper chakras. When people interact the chakras of one person will interact and stimulate the chakras of the other people. There is a famous Buddhist author (Jack Kornfield) who worked in a psychiatric hospital and these were his observations.

Hi Meg,
doesn`t sound like an energy problem to me. Maybe you visit an hollistic doctor/healer? Could be an inflamation or some nerve irritation. Acupuncture may help.
Good luck

Sorry folks, I just thought of another questions I've been meaning to post. Everyone is always saying that when you strart hearing voices and images pop into your head, that means you are getting close to the astral.  This happens to me frequently just as I am going to sleep - sometimes an OBE follows after the aforesaid 90 mins, sometimes not (or else I have forgotten.) Now, my question is this: HOW exactly do I go from the point of having this "astral perception" to actually being out of body? The images/voices don't necessarily accompany any vibrations, mostly they don't, in fact.

Ta,
Meg

I just happened to stumble across the Treatise a few years ago.  I've always been interested in "spiritual" matters, but had never believed that we could view or otherwise experience them first-hand until I read that.  I think I was destined to see that and start to change my world-view to allow for growth in this direction.
Even if I never have an OBE, I'm glad I have what I consider to be a more open-minded view of the multiverse.

Hi Meg
Automatic writing can be very dangerous because you never know what you can get. I suggest that you do it with a cinnamon or clove incense burning which would drive away anything nasty.
You should use a good method for contacting your spirit guide with mention of good and bad behavior. It doesn't sound bad with what you have encountered so far but it is still something to be careful of and research other methods of communicating with your guide.

Hi Meg
I once asked my self the same question... I have come to the conclusion that our purpose is to evolve as one part of a whole as spirits so in the living if we emulate that same concept of giving thanks to the universe in a group our voices are more predominant , like in the  example of group pray or healing

Thanks for sharing Meg!  Congrats on making contact with your guide.  Simian, huh?  Isn't that a scientific name for a primate?

Wow.
If this happened to me, I would take a while to let it sink in and get comfortable with what you are about to do. Then and only then would I proceed, and definately use the protection prayer first and every time that you undertake this sort of work.
Keep us posted on how you get on, it sounds very interesting.

Take care,

Rich

Hi Meg, hows things ?!

First, I have not been able to project yet. Below is what I've learnt through others' experiences.

Projecting from a lucid dream is possible, I think it is a case of becoming AWARE of the sensations of projection whilst in a lucid state....Others may want to speak from their own experiences on this.

A recurring dream is a great opportunity. Lets say I have a recurring dream where I fall down some stairs, and there is a cat at the bottom. In order to become lucid, all I've got to do is make myself aware that as soon as I see the cat, I realise I'm dreaming.

This is my technique : replay the scenario a few times during my waking hours each day, and when I get to see the cat, tell myself "this is a dream, wake up! "

Now you'll be lucid, and in a position to project....

I would investigate further.See if its the same guy,er,whatever it is.Ask it how you two came to be and last but not least ask it to show itself for its true being.

As for your husband is concerend, what did you excpect him to say when you mentioned your encounter?
Id keep that stuff to myself knowing all along that if I could put a truth meter to his sex driven imagination then ask questions like "has another women caught your eye, inspiered you desires or appeared in your erotic dreams?"
He would most likely fail the truth part and then you'ld be the jealous onehttp://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_shock.gif" border=0>
I say its all innocent fun when left only to the imagination or astral body.In the pysical, well, thats a different story in my book.

Look for "Flying without a broom".I still cant recall the woman who wrote it but she goes into detail on this subject.

Peace!

Guides are people, beings really since some people say their guides don't look humanoid, who help you and give you advice in the astral realm. I've only had a couple of astral experiences so I can't really say anything about a guide I've ever had but in one of my experiences I went through something and it felt like I was the guide, but I highly doubt it really happend since I'm only 15, though the people felt real.

Never forget that the worlds around you spin on their own axsis, not yours.

You yearn for something you do not know, search for something just beyond your thoughts, long to return to a land you've never been to, and need something you've never heard of. Knowledge will fill that gap, as soon as you realize that knowledge comes after emotion and you need both to lay the foundations of your world.
