About a year ago I had a bad experience that I think was an out of body experience. I had never really given much thought to these things before, but for some reason I just can't shake it.
I was asleep and having what I thought was a dream. In the "dream" I was at a party and all of my friends were sitting around talking about me. I knew each and every one of the people and all of them often went to the same parties, so it's not a stretch that they would all be in the same place at the same time. In fact, they did indeed have a party that particular night and I chose not to go. In the dream, it was like I was sitting right there with them, yet they had no idea of my presence. They were saying downright vicious things. I'm not paranoid and before this incident I never suspected them of really saying such things about me.
My roommate came home from a date and he jumped on me and abruptly woke me up. For a whole minute or so I couldn't move, couldn't breathe, and my heart was beating like crazy. I could hear him talking, but I couldn't respond. That was obviously sleep paralysis.
Obviously I couldn't really ask the people involved if they did indeed say those things because they probably would've denied it. So I have no way of confirming it.
What do you guys think?
