Welcome to Dreams! / Dreams
May 14, 2006, 04:02:43
I'm just a mere 16 year old, most of my dreams are just crazy and fun now. But i've had some really intense dreams that I can even still remember in near full detail to this day.

This one happened when I was quite young, I can't remember my age exactly, but i'm guessing below the age of 12. This one I love the most, it involves a pirate ship floating in darkness, but everything not dark as if it were night, everything still had some sort of light source hitting it. Anyway, it seems a skeleton wielding a longsword lived on this ship, or maybe haunted it. Well I really wasn't too old, and the younger you are you are usually frightened more easily. So I had somehow gotten onto this ship, and the skeleton wasn't too happy. It's eye sockets, which were made out of bone so shouldn't be able to move, were shaped as such   , it was definitely mad at me. So I was horribly frightened, to have a skeleton striking at me with a sword, luckily I had one as well but only managed to hold it out in front of me as the skeleton pounded at it. This is the only fuzzy part, i'm not sure but I think I had this dream a few times and lost, falling into the darkness that the ship was floating in. Well either way, eventually I was tired of it, tired of being scared, tired of letting this skeleton strike fear into me and trying to possibly kill me. I was angry, filled with rage and fought back, the skeleton back away and soon its angry eye sockets turned to a sad, or better yet a worried, look. I was now the one striking at him as he narrowly blocked my attacks, he backed up more and more as I advanced. I felt brave, strong, and embraced this feeling as I smiled, almost laughed at the skeleton who was now the weakling. Eventually he backed up off the ship, and now he was the one who fell into the darkness, as I stood on the floating ship, smiling as I had defeated a annoying enemy. That is my favorite dream as of right now

The next happened maybe 2 years ago, and is a dream i'm proud of. Well the spirit world and the dream world seem to relate to each other somehow, but I feel like this was a bad spirit or demon I faced, not a dream one. Well it starts with me getting out of bed, in the same house i'm in currently, I believe i went or was going to the bathroom which is just outside of my room. The details here are a little sketchy but it seems somewhere during that time a dark figure, almost what most ghosts look like on movies, was toying with me. It had scared me, since this little dream felt and looked very real, aside from everything having a sort of blueish-grayish tint/glow to it. Well skipping over the sketchy part, the bad spirit or whatever it was had managed to seal my mouth shut, my mouth was completely gone and I felt helpless as it floating around me laughing at my misery. I panicked for awhile and ran around the house, but it followed me with ease as it continued to laugh and laugh. Just like in my above dream, I started becoming almost annoyed at him, slightly angry. But rather then turn to full rage and attack him recklessly, I just closed me eyes and concentrated, focused on my mouth and soon I felt my mouth coming back, forming back and I could use it freely again. I opened my eyes and was pleasantly surprised to see the evil figure VERY surprised, as though it had seen me perform something impossible. It quickly back flew away scared, and I just smiled at him knowing that I had overpowered him without even touching him. I awoke soon after and felt a little nervous, but remembered what I had just done and felt amazing, as though I had actually defeated something and the room felt like it was glowing with my joy, that it was filled with positiveness. After that I fell asleep again, knowing that I didn't have to worry about anything else for the rest of the night for sure.

Hope my dreams were as fun to read as they were for me to experience, even if they did frighten me some at first.

But on a side note, from the way I described my second dream I would like some feedback on if it really was just a dream, or maybe related to the astral world in a way? And in case anyone wonders, I had FULL control over both dreams, I could do what I wanted freely, it wasn't a "everything played out and I just watched" kinda dream.

Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / Demons
May 14, 2006, 03:23:59
Well, i'm not entirely sure if this is the right place, but this seems to be the section with the most demon-related incidents so i'll go ahead and ask a few questions here.

First off, i'm just kinda curious. I like to think i'm some sort of amazingly powerful kinda guy in terms of willpower (too much tv probably...) Anyway, from what i've read fending off most negative things just seems to require a will that won't break, or someone that won't give up. I mean i'm actually almost getting a thrill out of just thinking of trying to fight a demon, but I wouldn't ever want to purposely throw myself into such a situation as it really wouldnt be.... smart. But say I did, could it be possible to enjoy trying to fight a demon? Maybe it's all in my head since i've never tried it, but i'm just curious could it be done? Could I, not so much as leave myself open, but challenge a demon and win? My guess is it would end up leaving some sort of negative inpact on me, but who knows.

Second, after reading the stories of possession from demon or evil/dark beings, what happens to the people who don't win? Are they the suicidal/crazy people you hear about on the news? Does the demon gain full control, example being, will it possibly just walk the streets killing as it pleases?

Third, now I realize this may seem a bit crazy itself to just think of such a  thing, but I couldn't help but wonder if almost merging with a demon could lead to some sort of person who actually has control of a demon but uses it to his advantage? I'm really ignorant when it comes to any of this, so it's mosty just curiosity getting the best of me.

And finally, i'm pretty sure everyones felt the feeling when reading something "creepy." Where the room seems to grow colder and your senses seem to become greater, feeling the air flow, hearing tiny sounds you wouldn't hear normally. Anyway, does this relate to anything spirital? Or is it all simply in the mind, maybe a bit of adrenaline boosting your senses? I actually experienced this when first reading some stories not too long ago, but now feel rather warm and excited.

Thanks in advance for anyone who's answered any of these questions, i'll be sure to come back with more.
