About projection for almost 3 years, and my biggest barrier is that i fall asleep first.

Any tips to stay awake?

Okay, to start off, I have not been on these forums for a long time.  I've been interested in Astral Projection and OBEs for a long time, and i find it facinating, although never coming close to achieing it.

But last night, after being at a gig with aload of mates, i managed to find my way to my girlfriends house, so i slept there. I was kind of fretting about how i was going to get home today so it was on my mind a fair bit.

Then i drifted off, and i was at home, in my dream, and i thought "Hang on, how did i get here?" And from that moment i realised i was dreaming.  For some reason my chest felt tighter and warmer than a normal dreams, but like confortable.  It was like i was wearing a nice warm jacket.  So i'd reached a lucid dream, which is a great success as it is.  I remember reading in alot of places that if you are in a Lucid state, then just by wishing to Project will make you leave your body.  So i said to myself "I want to leave my body" but then just thought "I doubt that will work", then I managed to fly, except i remember finding it difficult to control, and i just kept getting higher, so i stopped and came back down.   I also remember reading that if you have a flyng dream, it is highly possible to be an Out of body experience.

Anyway, i landed and decided to fight some zombies.  (I play alot of video games)

Then i woke up, grinning.

I good into AP and OBE about two and a half years ago.. Gave it a try, then school work started to get in the way.  I want to retry doing it but i cant even remember most my dreams, let alone realise when i am dreaming.

Where shall i start?

so i havent attempted to project in a long time.

i was at my desk, and like slumped over [totally the wrong possition to attempt, but i couldent be bothered to move]

i was listning to some long beep sound, from a website i was refered to off this forum.

i began to get extremly calm

i could feel energy moving up and down my whole body, my hands began to feel swollen and bigger than usual (?)

my hands began to tingle, like a non-painfull pins and needles.

i couldnt move my hands, kind of like sleep paralysis,

but like
mentaly, i couldent move them
if i really tried hard, i would have been able to

it was strange

after that, i began imaginly scenes or scenarios, and moments later i forgot them, and i cannot remember them one bit!

i seem to remember hearing talking behind me (no one was behind me)
i remember my left leg twitching every so often, i had a surge of energy on my neck just under my chin
the energy flow went on,

i also remember feeling like i was poked on my right cheek and told to project

no matter what, i just couldent leave my body, it seemed impossible, not fear or anything.

somehow it all just ended and i open my eyes.

i was replenished - super calm, went down stairs to ask what was for dinner, not realising i had a red mark down the right cheek from where my head was on my arm.

any help on leaving my body?
