hey guys! I'm so excited because this only happenend last nite.
i was laying on my back meditating as i usually do, but i felt tired so i rolled onto my right side to fall asleep. as i lay on my side i told myself that i would OBE, and i did my best to let my body fall asleep without my conscience following.
next thing i know i was flying through my room, and everything was a hazy blacky blueish colour. as soon as i realised where i was my first thought was to avoid looking at my body in bed (i didnt wanna get excited and sucked back in). i floated towards my window and landed face down next to it. I looked around at my room and everything was hazy, i felt like i was drunk haha! i was doing my best to try and get myself comfortable, but unfortunately i got the crazy idea that in my semi-drunk state i could visit Egypt. I looked out through my window and saw the outline of pyramids, then i lost my conscience for awhlie.
next thing i knew i could hear my dad, but i didnt know where i was. then i felt myelf falling backwards and as this was happening i realised i was in my lounge room. i fell back and knocked over a glass i couldnt see, but as soon as i heard the *ting* of glass my dads voice ceased, and i was back in my body. and to verify i was asleep i woke up in a small pool of drool... charming haha.

even thought it was short i knew i was out of my body, and i would have held it a lot longer had the crazy idea of visiting Egypt not arose in my mind.

hey guy im new here! I've been reading and learning about astral projection for the past 3 to 4 months and i have been attempting it ever since. the following story happened last night and has been the closest thing I've had to a projection or OBE, but it didnt feel like a full one. anyhow im looking forward to meeting all of you and learning more about this wonder place called the astral.

ok what has happened here has never happened befor during my meditation, so this is what happened:

last night i spent around an hour in meditation, feeling vibrations at all different stages. but after about another half an hour i rolled over and tried to go to sleep. now it gets interesting. while on my side i think i slipped off to sleep a little bit, coz next thing i know i could hear music. i have read that when out of body you can sometimes tune into radio frequencies, so thats what i assumed had happen. but next i started to hear my sister (ironically on the side i was lying i was facing her room) and it sounded like she was on the phone, i dont remember what she was saying now, but it was clear as day at the time.
next thing i remember after that was being on my back, with electricity running through my entire body making it feel like my body was contorting and was about to explode with energy. i tried my best to stay calm. then it seems like my conscience had left my body and was simlpy whirling around my room randomly, i had to ground it so i sent it to my lounge room.
then all i can feel is me lying on the fall in my lounge room, im trying to look around but everything is still very dark. i felt like it was all just in my head untill i saw our cat 'gertie' in front of me, well i only really saw her tail, but i heard her meow twice very clearly. then she came up next to me and was rubbing up against me, and i could feel her there, i knew she was there. then my mind asked me 'shouldnt gertie be outside at this time of night?' then BAM back in my body. We put her out every nite and yes she was indeed outside. it all felt so real, i just couldnt see anything, but i could hear and feel it.
then i get up this morning, the first thing i do is ask my sister, 'where you on the phone last nite? because i swear i could hear you'. then her eyes light up as if she has just remembered something. she said 'you were in my head last night telling me to shut up and go to sleep?' turns out she was listening to her ipod and then felt a surge of energy round her head then my voice appeared telling her to go to sleep.
and thats my wierd and wonderful experience, i was this close to a proper OBE or projection, i can just sense it
