1.  was this lucid or out of body?  dreamt I was laying down to sleep - fell out of my body and took off flying, from the bed up stairs.  came across a little boy who sitting with his head in his hands and shouted at him - leave them alone! my kids who were still asleep in the same bed.  as i continued flying up the stairs, something attached itself to the behind of my leg, something like sticky jelly substance.  i took hold of it and flung it to one side - this repeatedly happened during the dream.  as i arrived in a kitchen - the whole house was unknown to me, i was trying to find my mom (she has passed on about 2 years ago).  i knew she was in one of the bedrooms.  I was anxious to find her, but suddenly found myself flying out a window into the bright sunshine. I instinctively knew that she was "blocking" me and was not ready to see mje.  I was above roof top and suddenly descended with a steep decline.  I saw a beach in the distance and instinctively knew that I had to meet somebody there.  I flew past a lady figure who was frightened by me and gave way.  I reached a beautiful angelic man in a white robe with short curly black hair.  we started dancing, more like floating, going round and round on the beach and through the waves and singing "God you are the one, God you are the one"  He seemed to read my thoughts, the words of the song and sang the words with me.  It was beautiful, peaceful experience and I knew he was my guardian angel - even though i have not had the pleasure of meeting up with him since.  I have requested, but nothing has happened.
2.  Has anyone else had the experience of the jelly like substance.  it was most annoying and I kept flinging it away and it would re-attach itself.  It dissapeared when I met my guardian angel.

Hello everyone - been browsing this forum for a while and decided to join
I have been practicing reiki and somehow been drawn to this forum - never knew about lucids and obes before this and am very interested to learn everything. Since browsing this forum, I have had one lucid and one OBE (well maybe -  lol.)
Happy to be part of such a great and inspiring team!!!!

I dont know how to explain what happened, but will try my best. maybe someone here with more experience or someone who had a similar experience could help.

While sleeping, (I was not dreaming about anything at this stage) I realised I could have an OBE and knew I had to start vibrations. The vibrations started in my feet and worked its way up to my head. I remember thinking that "this is not so bad"- i was not afraid and the vibrations were subtle. I then knew I had to get out of my body.  I tried a couple of times to sit up, but failed. I then rolled out of bed and fell on all fours next to my bed.  I got up and laughed because i seemed to be swaying and could not see for a couple of seconds.  When my vision returned, within a couple of seconds, I was in my bedroom. It was dark, but I noticed that the tv that is situated at the end of my bed was on - a black and white film, I think a cowboy movie was showing.  I noticed a figure lying at the foot-end of my bed and walked around to see who it was.  It was my daughter, she was holding a beautiful smiling baby girl in her arms. Her face was turned away from me and the baby and I noticed tears streaming down her cheeks.  I bent down to look at the baby, smiled and turned to walk away, realising that I need to get on with the OBE.  Someone said "hello" and I remember wondering if it was my daughter, cos it did not sound like her or if it was the baby, cos surely babies don't speak? I was then aware of myself waking up and knew I had to do something.  I said "increase lucidity now", but unfortunately woke up in bed - wide awake!
Was this an obe - turned lucid? or did I just dream the whole thing?  Is it possible to dream that you are having an obe? Does this mean anything?
Please excuse all the questions, but this was a first experience and I really would appreciate some help/input.  I have only had one lucid dream prior to this.
