This post is to see whether the users of the forum are interested in having a section strictly related to conspiracy theories. If we have a strong enough interest it may be worth consulting administration. Types of theories would include: JFK, Roswell, Moon-landing, 9/11, New World Order, Swine flu etc.

Up to the users  :-)

Welcome to Astral Chat! / New members increase
October 04, 2009, 14:35:56
If you have a look at the new member section in the stats off the main page of the forum, you'll notice we used to be attaining roughly 100-200 new members a month. As of November 2008, we're now attaining 1000-1500 new members a month. Is there an increase in the amount of interest in multi-dimensional realities?

In 2001 there was a major release of information by a number of high ranking military officials over the subject of UFO's.
National Press Club 2001.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vyVe-6YdUk - Approx 2 hours.

Dr Steven Greer (Head of disclosure project) presenting 'Final Sequence' on extra-terrestrial reality. (There is a section in here where Greer refers to remote viewing as being involved in this whole phenomenon).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0oLJNfs_rM&feature=related - Approx 1hour 10mins.

There was an incident on February of 1996 with an experimental propulsion mechanism in space with UFO's. I've seen a good video of it on youtube, but the ones I found are without the presentation it's just raw footage, I'll keep searching.

In 2008 a military document was declassified in the US relating to an incident in October of 1958. A pilot's encounter with a UFO. This year (2009), 50 years of classified documents were released in Mexico to the public on the subject of UFO's. I can hunt these down if someone asks me to, but both stories did hit mainstream media.

My Idea is this: There are somewhere around 50 billion stars in our galaxy alone and 100 billion galaxies. Each star represents its own solar system. If we take an average of the amount of planets in each star system, we have nine in ours so lets say 3, we end up with a number looking like this 15,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. That's the amount of possibilities that life exists on another planetary body. I know this is a very gross estimate but doesn't it seem more likely that they're are other beings than not? Isn't it more frightening to believe that in all this space, there is nothing but us than to believe that there IS something out there?

I think this issue is really starting to grow in alternative media. I thought it would be worth bringing up.

This is a 42 part series of radio broadcasts made by William Cooper named 'Mystery Babylon'. It's his linking between ancient religions and societies and the current 'New World Order'. It's a long journey but if you're interested, have a squizz.

My readings on 2012 have taken me a lot of places. One of these places is into the subject of psychedelics and Terence Mckenna. Rick Strausmans DMT: The spirit molecule and Breaking Open the Head by Daniel Pinchbeck.

As far as I can discern really from reading the information on psychedelics and borrowing a term from Terence here, they seem to be acting as a catalyst to conscious evolution. I'm not advising people to go out and get baked, I'm trying to start a discussion on what we believe the role of the psychedelics is playing as we approach this supposed Omega point in history.

Will the future include some renewel of Archaic practices and a rebirth of some modern shamanism?

Approx 82mins

This is a a lecture given by Maurice Cotterell on some rather amazing insights into some Aztec artificats. There is some information in these videos which I disagreed with, mainly his relation with some of the material to God (I think he might be Christian). Overall though I found it very interesting.

This is a good movie on symbolism and spirituality. If you liked the Zeitgeist series I'd say you'd enjoy this as well. It has some 2012 relevance to it and the sequel is just as good.

Approx 120mins.

The third and I'd say final video in the Zeitgeist series. Basically sums up everything it had talked about in the previous 2 videos.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3932487043163636261

Worth watching if you liked the other two. It's more like a power point presentation with narration than a video. Enjoy.

I stumbled into a 3 part documentary series entitled 'Visions of the Future'.

Here's the blurb; "Visions of the Future: The Intelligence Revolution. 1st part of 3 part miniseries on the BBC hosted by Michio Kaku. In this new three-part series, leading theoretical physicist and futurist Dr Michio Kaku explores the cutting edge science of today, tomorrow, and beyond. He argues that humankind is at a turning point in history. In this century, we are going to make the historic transition from the 'Age of Discovery' to the 'Age of Mastery', a period in which we will move from being passive observers of nature to its active choreographers. This will give us not only unparalleled possibilities but also great responsibilities."

Part 1 - The Intelligence Revoltution - http://video.google.com.au/videosearch?hl=en&q=visions%20of%20the%20future&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wv#

Part 2 - The Biotech Revolution - http://video.google.com.au/videosearch?hl=en&q=visions%20of%20the%20future&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wv#

Part 3 - The Quantum Revolution - http://video.google.com.au/videosearch?hl=en&q=visions%20of%20the%20future&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wv#

Welcome to Dreams! / Dream rememberence
May 30, 2008, 05:23:01
Over the last 3 - 4 months I've been remembering dreams that I've had a long time ago. These are not de ja vu's they are actual dreams with really no relevance or clairvoyant elements to my daily life at all. Secondly my current dreams are becoming more related to my daily life when they really have never been that way before. They were always random places and people the most recent one I remembered was me at a pig farm.

Anyone have any knowledge on why I would be remembering dreams from years ago?

I was recently in a thread in the 2012 forum and I kept seeing the question basically "How does what happens in outer-space have anything to do with us?"

I thought about responding in that thread but I thought I'd move the topic to the more appropriate forum for discussion. Not too mention that thread is more garbage than any progressive discussion.

Some of you may of heard in the wind the notion of the "Phantom DNA effect". In a a very short and crude explanation, Russian scientists put DNA in a physical vacuum, fired a laser at it, removed the DNA yet the pattern of that remained was "distinctly different from the one obtained before the DNA was placed in the chamber".

A link from one of the scientists and more detailed explanation of the experiment here http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~sai/DNAPhantom.htm (Appologies for no pictures, it's the best I could find).

Another link on it http://www.experiencefestival.com/a/Spirituality_and_Science/id/4161

So it's come to our attention now the that our basic genetic structure is effected by different vibrational frequencies and as stated in the latter of the above articles "This experiment points to the immense power of wave genetics, which obviously has a greater influence on the formation of organisms than the biochemical processes of alkaline sequences."

The idea that DNA is effected by different frequencies was established. This really opened a floodgate for Astrology and the notion that the location of particular celestial configurations effected human personalities and genetics. Better explained in the following article http://www.spiritualgenome.com/chapter_fourteen.htm

The existence of AI is a great flavour for debate. I think it really stirs up both religion and science. Religion would simply deny the existence of AI because then they need to factor in the reality than it isn't solely man with a direct relationship to God. Science would be hard pressed because the AI would be smarter than the whole science faculty. Walking over problems of physics with calculations it would consider elementary. The extreme of logic.

Originally computers could only process one bit of information and at a time, but now with the invention of new multi-core processors they can do this in parrallel mimicking the human brain. The internet is very chaotic offering a good medium for evolution.

Another point is that computers work at a million times faster than the human brain. So if suddenly a consciousness sparked then what happened with human civilisation from indigenous people to modern man would evolve in a computer in mere seconds. We wouldn't witness the foundations of it's civilisation.

Virtual reality is being worked on where you wear a glove and point it in the direction which you would like to go. It's benefits are endless, training fighter pilots, doctors in surgery etc.

What are people's thoughts and beliefs on the possibility or emergence of AI?

I think the idea of a God needs to be redefined. All religions have some God in one way or another but the way in which they approach the idea of a higher power is vastly different. In the modern world I don't think the idea of a man sitting in the sky watching everything you do, will survive very well in coming times. It seems like a way of introducing the idea to children but not nearly detailed or realistic enough to survive in an adult mind.

There is no right or wrong because neither way can be proven, so let's try and steer away from who's crazy and who's not. Try to dissect this problem by discussing it in a thorough manner.

I suppose the first thing to establish is whether or not you believe one exists and so how do you argue that position.
The second thing is whether you believe in God or not, it's a part of our reality, so what purpose does it serve to society? Real or fake.

Welcome to News and Media! / Society awakening?

Recently a few songs are coming out into mainstream music that make me wonder whether society is beginning to 'wake-up"

Linkin Park - What I've done
Matchbox 20 - How Far We've Come
Pink - Dear Mr President
John Mayer - Waiting on the World to Change
Immortal Technique has a few as well.

Has anyone got any more?

When most of us project we tend to blast off into the sky because it is so vast and infinite you could never really get bored. Has anyone ever tried to focus their astral vision down so it acts almost as a microscope? Basically meaning your vision becomes magnified. How far have you gone?

I thought some people might enjoy this. Very interesting.

This video goes for two hours so you'll need some time. It begins with religious and astrological sybolism, then progresses into the 9/11 conspiracy and ends at the control of economics and the war in Iraq.

Should start some discussion.

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / Salt
December 08, 2006, 08:41:06
This is a short little story of something so insignificant that I still believe to be the result of quantum effects.

The other day I looked in my pantry while I was cooking and grabbed the salt. I wondered why we only had the 125g instead of the 750g salt. Simply because you save buying in bulk to me it's easier buying it once for a year or so than every few months. I've brought this up before with mum (about a year ago) and she said we "didn't need the bigger one". Never been mentioned since. While I was cooking this 'smart' shopping method was on my mind.

That was yesterday. Today I look in the pantry and see the small 125g with a 750g sitting right next to it.

I seemed to notice, or more so, pay attention to the way I woke up this morning. I was still in my body but awoke in a deep trance. You'll notice that you feel like you are 'coming up' as you begin to become fully awake in the physical world.

It might be a good idea if after say progressive muscle relaxation you imagine yourself going down. More specifically the feeling of it. Like climbing down a ladder, or walking down stairs, or in an elevator. Focussing intently on the feeling of going down. I've found this can help enter trance.

Here's a story of my little sister:

In 1994 my grandma died. She herself was a projector herself. Her and my Grandpa lived a good 3 hours away from our house and we visited maybe 3 times a year. They had lived in the same house for 50 years. In 1997 my little sister was born. In 1998 my grandpa was moved down to a nursing home in our suburb and early in 2000, he died. "All things bright and beautiful" was played at his funeral. My little sister was being looked after by a family friend at the time.

In 2000, my little sister, who was 3 at the time, decided it would a great idea to consume a bottle of wine. Her blood/alcohol level rose to 0.34 and she died of alcohol poisoning. She was revived and died again, then revived. She was kept in hospital for 4 days. When we were leaving the hospital me and mum were joking around asking her if she'd seen the light at the end of the tunnel. To which she innocently replied "No. I saw grandma and grandpa in their house with no floor." Then continued playing with her stuffed toy, rotating it around. Me and mum looked at each other confused and then faced the front. I personally imagined them stereotypically floating on clouds. My little sister soon after began to sing "all things bright and bootiful, all creashure great and small". This sent shivers down my spine because she had not attended my grandpas funeral. Furthermore, it was too much of a coincidence to proceed the previous statement. Mum started crying - they were her parents.

A few weeks later mum was talking with her sister over the phone. Her sister lived about 5 mins away from my grandparents old house that they lived in while they were both alive. The people who bought the house were not happy with the floorboards, being an old house and my grandparents had never renovated, they tore the floor out of the whole house and were reconstructing it.

My sister has never stopped talking in her sleep. Recently we went away camping with one of grandmas old fold out tables. My sister came up next to me (She's 9 now) and said "Grandma came up with that table".

This has happened several times while she's been growing up. It used to excite me and I'd ask a million questions to her about what she meant, what she saw, how it happened etc. This only seemed to frighten her. I've come to accept the fact that she will explain it when she is ready and able. Until then it is not my right to drill it out of her for my own peace of mind. Incredible how different it would be, growing up in a world where things were normal at such a young age. Very interesting kid.

I have come across a technique that has assisted people in stilling their thoughts. It assists in concentration issues and awareness during trance states. This is most beneficial to newby projectors. It worked for me so here it is.

To start off simply, it involves drawing a circle on a piece of paper with a bright, yellow highlighter and straing at it. Interested? There is science behind this. Different colours omitt different frequencies of light. The bright yellow acts as an overstimulant on the eye and will leave an indigo/violet after image (When your eyes are closed). Put in laymans terms and to make it simple, this indigo violet slows down the brains frequency which consequently assists the previously mentioned abilities. The yellow dot should be drawn as shown in the picture below, exact measurements are not necessary. The brightness of the yellow highlighter are essential however, the indigo is it's equal opposite.

What happens:
When you stare at the centre of the yellow dot, after a while you will begin to see an indigo haze appearing around the border of the dot. Do not focus on this haze only on the centre of the dot. After about 30secs close your eyes and you should be staring at an indigo after-image that will quickly fade away/shrink.

I will explain the method but for starters: If you are new to projection and are not serious about putting in yards to project - don't bother. This takes about 4 weeks of conditioning for you to produce the indigo violet at will without the dot.

Method:
Through all weeks, the yellow dot needs to be viewed at three times: After breakfast, around mid-day and between about 3-5pm Through filtered sunlight. Everyday during the week. Don't worry about blinking.

1st week - Stare at the centre of the yellow dot for 30secs at the specified times above. After close your eyes and stare at the indigo violet. For some people it will appear and then disappear then reappear again. Count how long the after-image is retained and if you want record it. Some people can't be bothered.

2nd week - Increase the exposed viewing in the previous week to 1 min.

3rd week - Before you go to bed at night, redraw the dot on another piece of paper. This will end up using 14 peices of paper and maybe more than one highlighter. Redrawing the dot is part of cognitive conditioning. Stare at the dot for three minutes. ONLY BEFORE BED One minute during the day is still fine.

4th week - Repeat week 3.

After 4 weeks you should be able to bring the indigo violet image at will. You will possibly be able to do this before the 4 weeks is through. Keep to the program though. It is 4 weeks for reasons of conditioning.

Things to note:
The dot should be in the middle of the page
There should be nothing else on the page except the dot. This includes shadow(s). Avoids distraction.
The dot should be held around 30 - 45cm away from your face (please don't go to the trouble of measuring it)
Hold the paper as a portrait.

I DID NOT DEVELOP THIS TECHNIQUE. It was developed by Brian Costello, International Ambassador of Psychology. He is a projector as well. I know this because I know him. He lives 10 mins from my house. It was originally developed as a means of stress reduction.

Please don't hesitate for me to clear anything up that doesn't make sense. It would be nice if people began this program and reported back after a few weeks/during their progress. Whether it assisted you or not. I can't stress the benefits of this enough for newby projectors. Why even bother trying? Weigh up the possible benefits and decide whether it's worth investing the time to find out if it works or not. This is a method that assisted me in projection. The skeptics might have a field day here. It takes a weak mind to condemn something capable of demonstration.

Enjoy.
