Personally, I would probably only rest if I was feeling burnt out.  Sometimes, for example, I can practice projecting without success, and I can lose sleep over it.  This can leave me feeling drained at times.  So when I feel like that, I simply tell myself, "Ok, tonight is a night I'm dedicating to sleep!"

However, if you feel up for the challenge, then I would attempt your energy development as long as possible.

Keep smiling,

Two words:

Duct tape.

Nah, jk, I haven't done any projecting before, either. I did come close, though, last week. I made it out, but couldn't see clearly. I tried to open my eyes and they opened. My corporeal counterparts eyes. Ruined my little 2 second projection.  I think I'm going to ste—'borrow' my sister's eye cover thingy.
