Is it normal to remember your dreams in 3rd person?
I remember some dreams as if I am watching myself in the dream like through someone elses eyes.

I remember watching myself learn to walk and other events in my life but not sure why.  Wouldnt I remember them as first person?

And deja vu,

I bugs me that I can watch a show or movie that I have never watched before, but yet after the show I feel like I have seen it before at some time which is not possible.  This seems to happening more and more frequently.

Anyone else have the same thing?

Hello Everyone, New to this forum.

Maybe someone can help or have any suggestions?

When I was growing up, I remember waking up often and not being able to move, only my eyes.  After a while I started linking this feeling to beginning of night mares and everytime it would happen, I can feel it starting via a sensation like a rolling or spinning and would wake up fighting it by focusing on a lighted area until it passed.  If I was to close my eyes it would continue feeling like I was being pulled in.  Eventually it would happen less and less and now I am older and it rarely happens.

Until about 2 - 3 years ago, I didn't really know about astral projection and after my son was born, I started looking into it and tried different audio tracks to help, with no success :(

I gave up the audio idea and tried to think about it when going to bed, wanting something to happen.  Until recently, my daughter was born and I am woken up on and off during the night now.

A couple weeks ago something happend, I felt the same feeling starting and I let it happen, but the same time I can hear my daughter starting to stir, so I knew I would need to wake up soon.
The sensation happend (the spinning or rolling) and then the darkness before my eyes started to get brighter, the best way to describe it would be like looking at the static snow on a mistuned TV, but it was different, a lot finer.  Then in the center before me a face appeared and looked at me, It looked like my son.  As I looked, I felt a movement like I was turning or rolling away from this point and at the same time my daughter woke up and so I had to wake up as well.

During this whole time I was hearing like a rumbling or rushing sound which is hard to describe, and quit as I awoke.

I have been unable to do this again since this time, but have been trying.

Is this a dream sequence or is there something more to this?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Dan

P.S.  It seems like I'm thinking more of the idea to project than much else right now.  But I don't know what to do.
