I've been practicing different methods of aping for about 8 weeks now and i have never once gotten vibrations, i have gotten different sensations that make it feel like im about to "leave my body" but, no vibrations, is there any technique i can use to get them? do you absolutly have to have them to ap?

Well I tried aping a couple times the passed couple of weeks and it's very strange. I get this weird feeling of fast movement and tingling but, am still completely in control of my physical body [in fact if i move then I lose the weird feeling] also sometimes when I'm trying to ap when I focus on my eyes they start twitching uncontrollably. Am I getting closer to aping?

Can anything bad happen from fighting in the astral? Also can you "imagine" weapons or w/e and you get it? just wondering.

Well I just tryed AP yesterday, I decided it sounded kind of interesting so I would try it. Now I THINK I may have had a little progress but, I am extremely confused because it is only my first try and I think that it would take longer to get even as far as I did. The first time I tried I was laying down I relaxed i did the countdown from 10 thing and then I imagined a ball of light and as it looked around I imagined I could "see" what it saw as it was looking around, after this I felt a sensation like movement that scared me out of my state of mindish thingy. Later that day I was laying in bed with the light on so I decided to try again this time I was going to try 2 methods at once. First I relaxed and did the 10 countdown thing relaxed and then did the ball of light thing. I felt the movement again but, I calmed down and tryed to keep focusing, I then tried the "grab something solid and pull" technique to "exit" I didnt actually grab somethign but I imagined my arm reaching for something distant as I had nothing close and pulling, as I did that I my stomach kept rising up up up like i kept breathing in hard which I think I may have been doing but certainly not on purpose the feeling of motion was even stronger and it seemed like my stomach kept getting higher and higher almost uncontrollably I kept trying to "pull myself out" but eventually the sensation got really really creepy so I "woke up" now my question is, was this close to Ap? Is it a type of sensation you will usually get? If I was close why is it that I achieved it so quickly, only in 2 or 3 trys that were around 10 - 20 minutes each?
