I was just thinking about astral projection the other day and the thought arose "Since time doesn't exist in the astral, is it possible to stay there for what seems forever, only to return to the physical planes with only an hour passed?"

In other words, could you rule a world in the astral from its beginning to its end all in 15 physical minutes? Or how about gather all of the knowledge from the Akashic Records in 5? I wonder how it would be done...

Me and some people were talking about the paranormal and this question came up. Has anyond ever tried or know anyone that has tried physical on ethereal sexual intercourse? If so, how was your/their experience?

Hello everyone, I used to frequently visit and post in this website but I went on a short hiatus. Well I'm glad to be back and glad to be seeing you guys again, though you probably don't remember me  :-P

Hello all, this is Hyak.

I've decided to create this guide about vibrations for many reasons. I've been seeing many people asking questions about them, like what to do when encountering them, and asking what they are. Usually the first time somebody experiences them, they aren't sure what they are, or if they have anything to do with projection. If in some other case they are indeed familiar with them and their nature, they may not know what to do. I've decided to make this to help all of you people, even those experienced with them, to get a better understanding of how they work, and much more.

What are these vibrations?

Well, different people have their own opinion and explanation for this phenomena, and I also have my own.

As I understand from scientific explanation, there are also there are vibrations of certain frequencies and amplitudes. I'm not sure if the vibrations that science describes are relative to the vibrations that we feel that seem to be metaphysical, but there is still my theory that they are related. Now the way that science describes vibrations, they are simply energetic matter that exists in all objects and space. Basically everything contains energy that vibrates at its own frequency, and as I understand, that frequency can change from time to time. So you, being a physical object with your physical body, also contain vibrations. Why don't you ever feel them you ask? Well, that's because of all of the other bodily activities occurring in your body. However, as you probably know, you can in fact feel them sometimes. This usually takes place during sleep paralysis, the period when your physical body goes into slumber, and usually takes your consciousness with it. As you may know, sleep paralysis is the key to astral projection, or projection of any sort. So, this is why the vibrations occur to many during their attempts to project. This is because, once you're in sleep paralysis, you lose all sensations and realization of your physical body's physical functions. So now, you can feel all the energy in your body vibrating at a certain frequency, usually depending on how much energy you have consumed in the period of time from your last OBE to the now. To sum it up, the vibrations you feel are just your energy surging through you.

How do I recognize these "vibrations"?

Well there are many ways that you may percept them, unfortunately only some could be the actual thing. So, I'll place here some of the most common ways people explain them as.

-"Waves" coursing throughout the body violently.
-A ring of energy making its way through the body.
-Uncontrollable shaking, pulse fluctuating.
-The feeling you get while laying in your bathtub, water knocking you back and forth.
-A loud buzzing vibrating the body, dominating your ears.

There may be more, but these are all I can think of. They pretty much give you a good enough idea of what they are. For those that may confuse them with other sensations, here's what they aren't.

-A tingling, tickling sensation in entire body, or just partial areas.
-A veil of warmth throughout the body.

Okay, now that you know how to recognize them, I'll tell you the symptoms that usually occur before you actually get them. This will allow you the time to get prepared before they come on, allowing a quick and easy exit. These symptoms usually signal the vibrations are about to come on.

-A loud buzzing, or ringing noise in your ears. It may also appear as a static-like noise.
-An tingling sensation throughout the entire body.
-Heaviness of your body, sinking, or floating feeling.
-Numbness in partial areas of your body. (Do not confuse this with the "needles and pins" sensation!)
-Lightness or unawareness of your physical body.
-An electrical surge of energy sparking in your body.
-Internal movements such as spinning, or rolling.
-The Hypnogogic State will also count as a cue that the vibrations are coming.
-Heart beating faster.

Now that we have all of that covered, you probably would like to get to how to actually deal with these "vibrations". There are many ways you can confront them, all unique to each person. I will list here a number of different techniques, also the best positions to be in while attempting them, beginning with my favorite of all.

The Roll-out: This is one of the simplest exit techniques to use once in sleep paralysis. To do this, once you lose all awareness of your body, or the vibrations come on: Act as if you're physically rolling out of your bed, onto the ground. Don't just think this, actually do it.
Position: Lying on your back or stomach.

The Rope: Once in sleep paralysis feel yourself climbing up a rope that's placed above you. Don't visualize it, just feel it. Feel yourself climbing up slowly, putting force on your body.
Position: Any.

The Ladder: Similar to the rope technique, but pretend you're climbing up or down a ladder. No visualization required.
Position: Any.

The Rocket: Pretend that you're in a rocket and it's about to lift off. Count down from 10 to 1, with every number feel the vibrations growing in energy and power. On 1, feel the rocket flying up very quickly, with all of the pressure moving downwards on you.
Position: Lying on your back or stomach.

The Log: This is somewhat similar to the roll-out, but requires some visualization. Visualize that you're a log on the top of a tall mountain. Now visualize yourself rolling down it a very high speed. While visualizing it, imagine how it would feel, and actually try imitating the motions with your ethereal body.
Position: Any.

The Sit-up: Simple. Sit up quickly using your ethereal body. Similar to how a push-up would be done.
Position: Lying on your back.

The Zero Gravity: While in sleep paralysis, imagine you're in space and being pulled upwards by some strong force. Or you can imagine you're just floating about, weightless. This technique can also be done to bring on sleep paralysis, or the vibrations.
Position: Any.

The Perception Shift: While in the sleep paralysis state, try moving your perception to another area, such as the foot of your bed. Now visualize you pulling yourself toward that perception. It's almost as if you're using your own force from another area to pull your ethereal body into your grasp. This can also be used as a way to induce sleep paralysis or vibrations.
Position: Any.

By catmeow-
Spinning: Whilst in the vibrational (or MABA) state, imagine yourself spinning about a vertical axis (so that the room appears to be spinning around).  A bit like being on a roundabout in a kids' playground.  You will probably feel the sensation of spinning before you see anything, but very soon you should actually behind to see the room moving round from your spinning position above your body.  At this point I can usually see in dim gray shades.  Fix your vision on something (say the corner of the room and stabilize/stop the spin.  Stand up. Once stabilized, you should be able to see reasonably well.  Leave the room!

Also by catmeow-
Beam Out: Simply think of beaming across the room onto the floor some short distance away from your bed.  After a short while you should become aware of being in this new position, probably kneeling on the floor, and probably you will be able to 'see'.  "I am usually facing away from the bed when I am able to 'see' and then stand up, turn around and get a good look at the bedroom.  If you can't "see" at this point, then then stand up and 'feel' the bedroom wall, vision should come along fairly quickly after this.  Leave the room!"

There may be more, but I can't remember them or I've never heard of them before. Remember, it isn't required to be in the positions I assigned each technique. I just recommend it because I think it works better that way. The only one that is required to be on the back is the sit-up, because you can't sit up in any other position (at least I don't think.)

Now, almost done here, but just a few more things about these vibrations. Some may know it's possible to raise the vibrations power willfully, but there's also some ways to get them more often. I've done a few experiments and have discovered that the following will lead to more accurate, powerful vibrations.

- Deep meditation

-Thoughts, mind content

- Experience

- Veggies

- A full stomach (not to full!)

- Resonant Tuning

- Opening your chakras

Those are just the things that I have discovered will help, you can probably fine more throughout the internet.

Now, it's time for the conclusion. Vibrations can not only be used for inducing OBE's, but they can also be used for almost limitless ancient magick. Unfortunately, every one of the texts I found the spells in specifically tell you not to tell anyone how they are done. Why am I telling you about it if I'm not going to tell you how to do it, you ask? I can't tell you how to do them, but I can refer you to the source. I haven't discovered the names of most of the texts, but I do know of one that is on the internet as an ebook. It's called "The Emerald Tablets", and can be found here http://www.crystalinks.com/emerald.html
It also has a lot of very useful information of astral and ethereal projection, and history of Earth.

I hope this helped you beginners out there, and for those that believe they're more educated on this, or that I made an error or false statement, instead of posting it here private message me.

Thank you, Magickist

Hello, all of you here at Astral Pulse  :-)

I'm just informing all of you of a new AP and metaphysical discussions website! The goal of this website is to unite various AP discussion websites together as one, a mega-AP forum if you will. I'm just trying to spread the news around of all the AP websites I can find, and keep in mind that it's only about three days old, so there isn't a lot of people yet.

Just come visit us here http://astralassociation.co.nr/ and spread the word, thanks! I hope you all enjoy your stay at Astral Alliance  :-D

Hey well,

I've been experienced in astral projection for a long time, but for the past few months I haven't really made an effort to have an experience. Last night I finally decided I wanted to try projecting again because I was going to teach a certain person things about the astral (though I didn't really know where to meet him)

Well anyway, I did my usual routine before going to bed, lay down, relax for about ten minutes, then listen to some slow rock/classic music by L'arc~en~ciel. After I did this (which took about an hour) I attempted to astral project through phasing. Well I lied on my stomach, closed my eyes, and stared at them for a few seconds. It was about a minute into this that I started noticing a few light blue areas (and my bonking LOUD clock TICKING) and started getting annoyed by my insanely loud clock that I barely started to notice ticks loud as heck! Well this irritated me and caused me to open my eyes. I was bummed out that I had to quit once already and I decided I would just go to sleep and hope to have a lucid dream.

I started realizing the dream I was having what I presume to be about four hours after I fell to sleep. I had to go to school so I didn't have time to write it down so I've forgotten a lot of it. Okay, all I can really remember is me being in some small fortress-like building, climbing down, and floating into a dark gray cave, then waking up. When I awoke I was laying there with my mind very clear which was a miracle for me (when I usually wake up my mind is usually flooded with thoughts). The first thing that popped in my head was to try to phase, so I turned onto my left side and started focusing on the back of my eyelids. About 20-50 seconds later a blinding white light veiled my sight accompanied by the common loud buzzing noise. What's weird is after this instead of separating from my body I got the vibrations, which I'd say were about normal speed. After this I was thinking holy... what the heck just happened, since when does it only take a few seconds for me to get into the vibrational state?! Right after I thought this I heard somebody up walking through the house going into the hallway. I tried to ignore this and escape with my usual technique - the roll-out. I tried doing it and once I had attempted it all that came out were my shoulders and upper arms and I realized, "Darn! I'm on my side this time, this wont work!" and I started trying to think of something else, but then I heard the shower on and my heater turn on also which knocked me out of the trance state  :'(

Well, once again I feel screwed by my family, it's almost as if they know I'm trying to project and trying to stop it. Anyway, I'm just happy I had this experience and am able to share it with you guys. Thanks for reading, bye.

P.S. This is for someone that's having trouble with swallowing saliva during attempting to project: When I was in the vibrational state I swallowed some out of excitement and I just ignored it and avoided thinking of my body. All you have to do is just let your subconscious mind do it for you.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / The FOURTH Eye?
September 29, 2007, 20:15:10
Hey all, recently I tried to open my third eye by rolling my physical eyes up to the place the third eye should be. Well when I did this I saw for a moment two green eyes directly above the place of my physical eyes, and by green I mean completely green. Was this just an illusion or were they actual eyes? Can someone please explain what I saw?

Hey all, I'm new to this part of the forums but I'm wondering, is it possible for blind people to be able to see using their third eye?

Hello, I'm just wondering, for all of you people that use the technique where you concentrate on the ringing sound in your ears, a few things.

1.) What is the average amount of time it takes you to get into the sleep paralysis state/feel vibrations?

2.) Whenever you perform this technique does it have to be in a particularly quiet place or can it have minimum amounts of noise?

3.) Does it take large amounts of concentration?

4.) In your opinion is it easier to do successfully than it is with phasing?

Thank you all for reading this and I'm eagerly awaiting your replies  :-)

Seeing as many people use The Gateway Experience to induce states capable of consciously projecting, I've decided to make this thread where all of us can post our results and experiences with this program. I haven't had much experience with it yet, but I would appreciate it if others would post their experiences here.

Well, last night I was getting ready to sleep, I was pretty exhausted. I went to my bed and lied down and just laid there trying to keep my mind clear. I was focusing on attempted projection until later that night, but I still had it in the back of my mind that I was going to accomplish it that night. So I just laid there and started thinking about things, and I decided I wanted to do a technique that I had learned called the rope technique that's designed for quick projections, but I tweaked it a little bit. In my mind I visioned myself laying on my bed, then jumping up quickly and running, after that I jumped into the air and started soaring up, higher and higher, through space, through the heavens, and I just kept repeating that. I did this for about a minute or two, then started daydreaming about other things. I hadn't realized I hadn't been moving or been aware of my physical body but I had gotten really relaxed, and this daydream seemed so vivid too, about three minutes into it I heard something like an air conditioner shutting off, and then I felt vibrations run through my body for about a second. However right whenever I heard the noise I opened my eyes to see if my air conditioner had shut off, because I time it, and I'm used to the sound, and no more light being in the room when it does shut off. However, when I opened my eyes it was still on and the room was still the same as it was when I laid down. I still didn't move very much and I could feel a tingly feeling in my left foot and left hand for a while. After that I went to sleep, if only I wouldn't have moved, I could've actually projected that night without even trying >.<

Has anyone just been relaxed on your bed, just trying to get some sleep when it feels as if you just fell out of your bed, yet your physical body didn't move at all? I seem to recall during my earlier days this happened to me quite a bit and I'm wondering if it had anything to do with me leaving my body, then snapping back into it, because it seems familiar to the sensation I think is felt when quickly returning.

Hello, I've read the Emerald Tablets of Thoth before and noticed that he based most of his wisdom and work on something that seems awfully familiar to astral projection. If you'll read it you'll notice that he mentions methods of attaining astral projection, and also sacred places to visit one you are projecting. You can read it here http://www.crystalinks.com/emerald.html

Here is an example of one of the times he mentions what I believe is astral projection in his work:

Close ye your eyes from the rays of the Light.
Centre thy soul-force in the place of thine consciousness,
shaking it free from the bonds of the night.

Place in thy mind-place the image thou desireth.
Picture the place thou desireth to see.
Vibrate back and forth with thy power.
Loosen the soul from out of its night.
Fiercely must thou shake with all of thy power
until at last thy soul shall be free.

Thoth's journeys, although he didn't clearly mention seem to be entirely fulfilled through astral projection. The Emerald Tablets for us projectors act as a giant book of cheats and show different methods for using it and also very sacred places and other worlds to visit that will increase your wisdom tenfold. Just read a few of them and you won't only quickly become a master of astral projection, but as you follow his instructions and words you'll also become a master of life itself. I hope this helps all of you, and consider this a very simple way to become full of unlimited knowledge and wisdom.

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Vibrations
September 06, 2007, 19:44:32
Hello, a few nights ago I attempted astral projection by using an entrainment CD that used binaural beats\voice, particularly used to induce the vibration state. When I had gotten to the point of the wave frequencies associated with the CD and the guy in the background helping out, I almost immediately felt a difference in my body. My body had become warmer than before, and it felt a little tingly and slightly heavier than before, and I can almost say that I did feel slight vibrations pushing through my body, below the chest mostly. The problem with this however is, disregarding all that occurred I could still move/feel my physical body, but I did hear a buzzing noise in my left ear for quite some time, sounding almost exactly identical to a bee. Can someone please explain to me what happened and what I'm doing wrong? I would also appreciate it if you can tell me how to correct it and how to get on the right track. Thanks.
