1. The Fire yogi, this one has been active in hindu mediations for a long time, together with a lifestyle consistent of just one banana and a bit of milk a day, combined with 3 hours of sleep per. Devoting most of his time to his Gods. He has a special close relationship with fire and does not burn himself, he exposes himself to heat that would be normally unbearable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aj7iqdj1wT8 (most intense part a bit after 28 min)

2. The chinese chi man. He also meditates a lot, which he claims brought him these kinds of powers, being able to give off electric shock to setting a paper on fire with his bare hands. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYVdhKVb9WE

3. The man who claims to have not have eaten nor drank for 70 years. Also sleeps very little and meditates a lot. He claims he can absorb energy by staring into the sun. He was filmed and researched by scientists for 10 days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fH-kBqec_K4

4. A born blind russian who is able to see, in the dark, blindfolded. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYBBkfQcRoY&feature=youtu.be&t=1m50s

http://www.reddit.com/r/LucidDreaming/comments/2abrd8/listening_to_sexual_sounds_or_dirty_soft_talk/ already made a topic reddit

So yeah, listen to porn/sexy talk while your sleeping to increase the frequency of sexual dreams

Anyone who tried it themselves?

I often get pulled out of dreams in the morning because light goes into the lower part of my eyes, I bought a sleep mask today, that should solve it.

#4
Some of you have probably experienced it already, before trying to sleep, (you focus more with your non-physical senses I guess) and you see your room while your eye lids are completely close.

This now happens for me all the time, I meditate before going to sleep for 20 min, after the first 2 min my eyes are adjusted and I can now vaguely see my body's energy and the walls in my room.

Do you have this?

(I thought it would be pretty cool to get some scientific study done on this (or me) to maybe prove a bit more about or spirit or something.)
#6
Ofcourse dreams presumably never in the rtz, but when you go into dreams consciously, with the feeling of leaving the body, you could expect this to happen right.
I think that's what made the whole thing famous, the spying on your friends irl etc. But when ever I project I am always in a dream version of my neighbourhood. I am not necessarily complaining but you get point.

DEA have experiences that are truely in this physical space time continuum, or are you only in dreams that have charactaristics from our world?
#7
I just wanted to say that sometimes, or most of the time, these non-physical beings are the most extrodionary, funny, witty, smart characters.

When I have had enough sleep (after 7 hours, I have the highest succes rate), I try to sleep again, I wait till I am at the brink of sleep, I ask my guides to pull me out, immediately I get a pulling sensation, I let go and I find myself in a lucid dream.

Cheers.

Published in Nature Neuroscience today: lucid dreams were induced 77% of the time when electrodes placed on the scalp stimulate the frontal cortex at 40 Hertz two minutes after entering a dream.

You probably already know most of this, I wrote it somewhere else and I thought it may be of benefit for some.

How to get lucid dreams:

-Put your intent towards, before you fall asleep tell yourself you will become lucid and remember your dreams

-Start Meditation (I'd say 20 min twice a day atleast) and start being mindful (You are more aware in general and this will help in dream state, it will increase your happiness and tons of other beneficial effects)

Sleep 10-11 hours a day if you can (this will really help) (Napping works good aswell)

A dream journal (helps you remember your dreams) (I just write a few key words, you might want to do more)

Now if you really want to improve your LD's A LOT: Everytime you wake up at night (set an alarm if you have to), drink some fresh water to get you awake and meditate for 10 min minimum (this is the hardest part, but it can result in quick results)

After waking up (and preferably staying awake for a bit, especially when in the middle of the night, though this is not the best tactic in some cases), you can try to remain conscious, either by tapping your fingers lightly (fild) or with any other technique, while trying not to move. The philosophy is not to fall asleep, but rather to abseil into it slowly. This can result in crazy sensations, like vibrations, or pulling sensations. (Some try to induce an OBE in this case, but I'd say relax your way into your dream, same thing)

When you wake up from a dream, and you didn't get everything out of it, it ended halfway, and you are still very sleepy, don't move, and relax, or visualize yourself back into the dream.

Everytime you feel like you are in a dream, do a reality check, PINCH YOUR NOSE AND SEE IF YOU CAN BREATHE, look at your hands or in a mirror (you can do this all day if you like, to the habit will happen in dreams aswell, but IMO, it's too much work for too little result)

    Get enough vitamins

+

Galantamine (the supplement that works the best by far and has a really high chance of making you lucid (70-90%)(+ more vivid dreams) http://galantaminedreams.com/ here is a full guide + cheap vendor. Really research how to take it before taking it.

If supplements are your thing, you can also try Calea Zachetachichi (more vivid and lucid dreams) or Silene Capensis (More colourful and lucid/vivid dreams, how ever I heard you need to take long breaks after use). These are the only supplements I found worth using. Some say you need to take choline with your galantamine but Idk, and it's expensive. You may want to research this futher.

Beginners often wake up due to excitement, try to stay calm and just observe. Here are some tips to ground yourself in the dream:
- Focus on your senses, put something in your mouth
- Grab an object and focus on it

To extend the dream when it's starting to fade (the things above could help aswell):
- rub your hands
- Spin around

Has anyone researched this, is there stuff that works really well?

Is it cheap? How do you ingest it? Does it work for everyone? Can you grow it in a garden etc.

Can somebody shed some light on this?

Can we merge "Welcome to Out of Body Experiences!" and "Astral Projection Experiences".

We keep saying these experiences are one, yet we have 2 different sub fora(?), this is also distracting for beginners that get here.

Since yesterday, I started taking etheric lavender oil in my water ( 3times a day, 2-4 drops), It's suppose to alleviate depression and give you better sleep. (a theory of mine: when we first go to sleep, we seem to enter this deep sleep without dreams, maybe this was done quicker so I had more time to dream)
And I also heard yesterday, that the sound 'HUUUU' can be used as a mantra to activate your pineal gland more strongly, and apparently people could have spiritual experiences with it or increase physic phenomenon with it.
I wake up naturally at night, 3/4 times a night (I sleep for 12 hours). I normally am awake for 2 min, and then 20 min 'trying' to sleep. This time I meditated for 10 min when I woke up at night, while chanting huuuu.

summary:

    Lavender oil

    10 min longer WBTB time

    Meditaion before sleep

    Chanting Huu while meditating

Huu sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=magoCruPSNE

I recently looked for shrooms while lucid dreaming, but I had no succes.

But while dreaming tonight, my mom gave me salvia. I was pretty anxious to hit. I thought things like 'ok, loving creator, let this be nice'
So I took a hit, didn't held it in for too long, again anxious, then things got trippy, it was familiar to mushrooms in a way.

So this is something that I'd highly recommend.

Now I think about it, this is how I experience most of my projections. I lay still in the morning, wait for some sort of shift to happen, sometimes a pull, sometimes something else.

So, just in case, when I hit the intense vibrations (had that once), I can do the same and it will work as an exit technique?
#18
Lets make a list, I'll start:
- Talking and feeling the lost of someone who passed
- Flying
- Having sex
- Talking to other beings
- Visiting Heavens/Higher planes (No experience of this yet, also feel free to post here if you have http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_out_of_body_experiences/visiting_higher_heaven_like_astral_planes-t44085.0.html )
- Taking drugs, psychedelics etc. (no experience either of this yet but planning on doing so)

When dreaming or OOB, how do you know if you are interacting with a self created (subconscious dreamland/dreamfigures) or when you are in the astral with real conscious entities?
People have reported shared lucid dreams so it's definitely possible ofcourse.

And how does it work with being fully in control (like when you have the ability to change the whole dream at will), when you are dealing with seperate entities.

Fractals are infinite patterns that are everywhere in nature

I once experienced this sort of picture to fall into when I woke up in  the middle of the night, but I was scared of the infinity so I didn't let go.

And a few nights ago I experienced another fractal like tunnel with babies faces in it (while dreaming), which was fun, to fall into a walrus with african babies and Jesus, which was weird and I woke up.

I like this guy, calls himself an astral projection specialist. In this video he talks about visiting higher astral planes, he got the idea from a spiritual movement that is named Eckankar.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLhMfm5m7fU

And here is more info about Eckankar
Www.Eckankar.org

Do discuss and please share your most blissful, beautiful, loving astral experience you have ever had.

In this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhrZRFOZnDc
A man doesn't fully understand he is an eternal being

Bashar thinks he needs an ego to fully understand he will always exists.
He asks how; "Ask for it, and it will be given to you"
So I did.
Now I will wait for results, days, months, years and I will report back.

Who's in. :)
#23
Do share! :)

I have only had really 1 astral projection that lasted 5 sec, but lots of lucid dreams.
My lucid dreams usually last 10-20 min in there ( I just realized how challenging it is to translate time back here).

From what I have heard, the ways depressions end are:
- You no longer chose to feel that way and you simply decide to be over it and be happy
- You hit rock bottom and the only way left is up
- You exit with suicide

Either way you will be free.

Now I am struggling with this. I am in a situation where there isn't so much pain perse, despite being somewhat lonely.
But more the absence of joy that makes life kind of depressing.
Getting into a cycle of eating, walking the dog, sitting behind the pc and meditating and having the most fun when I am dreaming or astral, where I do feel joy most of the time.
I can't quite see how I can chose to be happy although I know It's possible.

So, I researched this, about what happens after death/suicide:
In general, you experience this great peace, love and freedom. And a feeling of waking up from a dream, becoming more of yourself.
You do your life review, but you see that your last choice wasn't so well for everyone around you.
(Unless you chose to go back to your physical reality, undo and forget your decision to end it all, or survive it).
*because of this, they say 'every death is suicide'

Anyways, so now I am into exploring the astral, but it seems so much easier to end it all, be in joy, and experience creation without the body and being in the astral all the time, despite hurting my loved ones on this side.

So how do you think about this, any of you who overcome it or maybe met entities in the NPR that told you about their death. Do share. :)

Here Dr. Eben Alexander tells about his journey to Heaven after he left his body
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0x5GD9VXqM

And here he describes a part of his NDE here about god.
http://youtu.be/qQH_X1JByks

Definition of god aka creator for me personally = ALL that IS

But what are your experiences like? Can we go to the same place he went after we have left the body and what is the best way to be transported there?
Saying commands like 'HEAVEN FOR ME NOW', asking god if he can bring you there or calling upon Angels like Archangel Micheal or Gabrielle?
#26
When you are waiting for the vibrations remember this:
IT TAKES SUCH A SHORT WHILE LONGER TO GET THERE, SO SHORT.

So when you are lying down, and you are about to give up, remember that it often takes only a few more minutes before you are there.

Darryl Anka is channeling an ET from a really civilized civilization. So much fun to watch. Anyways here is a clip of him about astral travel.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMYiU53kmzE

Please post results, none for me yet.

I think so.

But "people can be at 2 places at once (for instance, I had a friend who was visisted by the hologram light version of a freind of his while he was tripping on xtc alone in his room) thing" might also play a role in that a facet of your consciousness appears in dreams of others to assist them that you are not aware of.

Some information about me:
I am 18 y/o.
My passion is spiritual growth (that's the reason why we came on earth anyways).
I am very empathic, I am linked to sirius. A Starchild. Which I have found out recently. I am in communication with one being from that star. She appears in a purple fractal flower, or in rainbow colours in the sky (in waking reality). Like the picture without the dot. I am beginning to channel her since last week to myself. She is very sweet, carressing me at times, putting attention on the fact that we are all one and that I should not be afraid of anyone. I also communicate with beings from Essasani consciousness.

My dad 'died' 3 years ago. Also in empathic communication with that being, sometimes he shows up, talks to me, makes me feel his energy, gives me information etc. Very comforting.

I like to write. Walk with the dog, connect to nature, meditate, watch bashar (big fan), hugging trees, play with my cat.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQRf0r-EjkM

I have used weed, shrooms a few times and dmt. Now I only whish to take nn,DMT one more time (haven't had a breakthrough yet). I felt like the use of the drugs helped me get further with the whole Astral travel thing, especially DMT.
I had 2 short OBE's since I have been trying.

Much love.
----------------
I am using the forever non-seperation technique, being aware IN the body all the time, raising frequency with nature and meditation. When I go to sleep I don't try to get out, I just keep my awareness up and let it come naturally.
Also, I sometimes put my forarm up 90 degrees to not fall asleep.

16-12-2013
11:00 Called upon St. Germain, my dad (and more Archangels) to get me out, felt very light in my skin, frequency was definitely higher than usual. I don't think I was too far away from getting out but gave up.
Then I gave up, listened to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4zArI0uqWY (very recommended) and started my day.

Also to inspire others to do the same.

Wake up, laying still, meditation, (calling upon the not so dearly departed), then dream on or getting some connection with the loved ones.

Meditation during the day and sleep, 432hz music to get relaxed, spending time in nature, connecting with the animals and trees.
This to highly increase body awareness, it's important to feel good while being IN your body also.

Put the alarm on before going to sleep. Wake yourself up 3.5 hours after going to sleep.
Stay up for 30 minutes, Watch a movie (sci-fi for putting you in the dream mood), meditate, play with the cat, go drawing etc.

Then go watch,

or maybe

Happy dreaming

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / F.I.L.D

That would be very nice imo.
#35
Is there some astral projection for dummies, that tells me what to do step by step?
There is lots of info, which is great but it's not so concrete.

A guide like this would be great:
All the things you can do to improve your chances, (dream diary, reality checks, meditation etc.)
Every technique that you should use for x time before you go to the next technique.

Or if you could recommend a good book which has 'all' the info I need to start projecting that would be cool too. But the step for step guide could also serve as a sticky.

What do I need to do to get an OBE when I am lucid?
