We are all connected- could be your helper is this other person's spirit. I think it is possible that our guide is always helping us, wether we notice or care. I had a few obe's were I was looking for a guide, then I seemed to have connected without finding a guide, I think it is something that is just a part of ourselves, always there and always leading us onward. Which is not to say that others could not be lending us a hand also.
