Its gotta be a cult. Ill explain:

True avatars of the faith do not start organizations or have some sort of ritual to join. The fact that they seem overtly cloak-and-dagger seems odd to me. I dont understand why knowledge is needed to be kept under lock and key.

We all have our gifts and talents. But I do not abuse them, nor do I claim to belive that there is a crusade at hand.

To be perfectally honest, we are all in this together. I try to keep my knowledge as open as possible. However my more inner details I keep with my closest of friends. There are things I only want a few people knowning about me [;)]

I'd trust your first insticnt and keep away with these guys. Especially since the "leader" seems to have a level of arrogence I dont care for. Our gifts are just that. They are not to be used as a tool for controlling people.

My guide turned sour the moment I read your text. His advice is to find the stregenth within yourself to find identity. These people only seek to use you for their <most likely> dilluded and psychopathic purposes.

OBEs and other psionic abilites are actually easy to learn if you have the patience. No fricking 6 month course (aka brainwashing) will tell you how to do it.

I feel that, the people who "need" it, always seem to find it. It's a self-journey so I feel too, that the best help we can give, is to spread the energy, and exist where we know we should.  We should avoid preaching, and only answer the questions asked... I've started this sort of lifestyle after about a good month of actively bringing it up, and its been much more effective.  It stops the ego from creating a defensive standpoint, and fighting it off as a something foreign, and lets the true self of the individual grow and seek out what is needed to progress. :)

It sounds like a genuine OBE to me.

1) If your concious thought is as focused as it is in the physical then its probably a real OBE.
I understand what you are saying when you say you get excited when it happens and end up back in body too soon. Unforunately I still suffer from this problem sometimes.

2) I have a similair problem when I'm out and I feel I'm always on the end of a tight elastic band trying to suck me back to my body and it usually makes me wake up back in the physical. I think there are 2 possible reasons for my experience, 1-Me thinking of this happening makes it happen and then it gets worse because I'm expecting it to. 2- I try to leave the body too soon after the vibrations start so therefore I'm not totally free and the only way is back to body.
I think in your case its the first point. I think you are free to explore but you have got into a bad habit that is now repeating itself. Try doing something completely different when you exit. Try immediately floating through your ceiling or through an outside window before the fall occurs. If you expect the fall to occur it will. I'm saying this as someone who still has many astral problems to combat so I'm no expert but I do know that bad habits need to be broken for progress to happen.
I hope this helps.
